Hushan Greatwall in Dandong, Liaoning

This lesser known Great Wall is more manageable to hike as it is not as long as the one in Beijing. Being lesser known, it also means lesser tourist, making the trip more enjoyable. What’s unique about this scenic spot is you can see North Korea from above, and there is a spot here that is literally one foot away from North Korean territory, but you can’t step or take photos in that spot.
