Yunnan's First Village - Zhengying Village

Known as the 'First Village of Yunnan', Zhengying Village is in an excellent location, nestled against the mountains and near the water, full of spirit! During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the village produced many scholars. The saying 'scholars are everywhere, and talents are as common as dogs' is enough to show that Zhengying Village was full of talents and well-educated at that time! The most representative building in the village is the ancestral hall of Mr. Chen Heting, the founder of China's private railway and one of the founders of Shiping No.1 Middle School. On the stone bridge at the entrance, there are railings and pillars, and on the top of the pillars are exquisite stone carvings of the 12 Chinese zodiac signs, which are one of the highlights!
