Those who frequently visit Kemang might know that markah.warung is not a new brand. Operating since 2019 in the same building behind McD Kemang, it used to be upstairs—if I'm not mistaken—but now occupies the front part of the ground floor. The seating is divided according to visitors' needs, with non-smoking inside and smoking on the terrace. Parking is available across from it, in the mini soccer area. What’s also new at Markah is the nasi ala warung menu. There are rice dishes with side dishes, or you can choose your own sides like in a typical warung. We ordered from the menu: nasi gule and nasi telor bumbu hitam. Both used a black seasoning similar to Madura duck seasoning, and it was very delicious. A portion was filling for our lunch that day. For drinks, we ordered iced black coffee and black berry tonic. The espresso uses a combination of 70:30 arabica and robusta. This time, the iced black was perfect even with the robusta mix. It didn't taste bitter; it left a chocolatey aftertaste. Of course, there's also milk coffee. They even have unique flavors: sea salt almond, coconut cream, and ginger honey.
