In Yuanyang, visit the Hani people's cloud terraces

Throughout the year, the terraces have their own beauty. The Hani people are accustomed to planting rice seedlings in June every year, so in the summer, Yuanyang is filled with lush green rice waves. In August, we walked into Yuanyang, into the greenery and tranquility of Yuanyang, into the colorful and magnificent Yuanyang. In this little-known secret place in southeastern Yunnan, let's explore the cloud terraces created by the Hani people's exquisite techniques. 6:30-7:30 Sunrise Qingkou Viewing Platform (Picture 2, Picture 3): Free, right at the entrance of the scenic area, you can go deep into the terrace ridges to take photos. Duoyishu Viewing Platform (Picture 7): A package ticket costs 70 yuan per person, which also includes Bada and Laohuzui. This is the best viewing point for the sunrise. Unfortunately, it was very foggy the day we went, so we couldn't see the sunrise, but we saw the sea of clouds, which was still worth the trip. 18:30-19:30 Sunset Bada Viewing Platform (Picture 5, Picture 6): You can see the magnificent scene of the sunset combined with the thousand-level terraces. The beauty of Bada is grand and magnificent. Dawazhe: It is also said to be a great sunset viewing point. You can choose either Bada or Dawazhe. 9:00-10:30 Aichun Blue Terraces: During the abundant water period of the terraces, the morning sunlight reflects a deep and shallow blue, blending with the blue of the sky. Other times Azheke (Picture 8~Picture 15): 30 yuan per person, an ancient Hani village that combines Hani ethnic characteristics and terrace landscapes. While viewing the scenery, you can also experience the cultural atmosphere. The number of photos also shows my love for Azheke, highly recommended! Laohuzui: Similar to the terraces of Bada, we went because we bought a package ticket. However, the viewing platform of Laohuzui is at the foot of the mountain, a distance from the parking place, and it is tiring to go up and down the mountain. Laoyingzui: During the abundant water period, it presents a colorful scene, so it is also called the colorful terraces. Accommodation: Yuanyang Hawowo Hotel, cost-effective, you can lie in bed and see the terraces. Food: The Honghua Small Restaurant near the hotel is pretty good, with unique Hani farmhouse dishes. Be sure to try the local specialty Hani dipping chicken. The biggest selling point is their unique dipping sauce made from more than 20 kinds of ingredients, including chicken offal, eggs, prickly mint, fragrant lemon, mustard greens, and coriander. It can be used as a dipping sauce or as a standalone dish.
