⛰️If you haven't seen the Hani Terraces in Yuanyang, you may still think of terraced fields as just a farming concept. When the whole mountain is cultivated by farmers, it feels like you're in "Minecraft," with the ridges turning into steps leading to the world. · ⛰️We arrived in Yuanyang a little late on the first day and stayed at a homestay called Xiangdian near the terraced fields. They opened a new hotel this year, but we chose the homestay because it was closer to the terraced fields. The floor heating is turned on in advance, making the check-in process very comfortable. 🌈We happened to be there when the elementary school was letting out, so we wandered around the village for a while. It felt like going back to our childhood, or even earlier. · ✅Beside the terraced fields 🌈The homestay is in the core scenic area of the Yuanyang Terraces, surrounded by terraced fields and mountains. It's a super beautiful location, so there's no need to go to the viewing platform. 🌈The room has panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows facing the terraced fields. The design of the first-floor café and dining area is ingenious, with the window view perfectly framing the terraced fields. 👍The room design is simple, incorporating traditional Hani features. It ensures comfort while making the room as stylish as possible. · ✅Above the sea of clouds 🌈There are many room types, from starry sky rooms to family rooms, each offering a stunning view of the terraced fields, with a sea of clouds in the morning. 👍The homestay breakfast is worth mentioning. You can choose between Chinese and Western cuisine. The Western bread is very American, and the view adds a special flavor. 🌈The homestay is near Qingkou, where the distant terraced fields easily gather clouds, making it perfect for photographing the sea of clouds.
