The hotel's facilities are relatively new, and the hardware conditions appear to be quite good. However, there's still room for improvement in daily maintenance and detailed cleaning. Occasionally, I noticed some dust and slight mold in the room, and the cleanliness inside the refrigerator could also be better.
The room size, as is typical for Japan, is on the compact side, but considering the overall price point, it's quite reasonable.
The gym, although not large, is equipped with Technogym machines, which is a plus for those with a fitness routine.
My experience with the laundry room was rather average; my clothes even had mud-like stains after washing. Since there are only three washing machines, if a previous guest takes a long time to retrieve their laundry, I suggest the hotel post clearer notices, perhaps indicating that the front desk can assist, to avoid inconveniencing subsequent guests.
Overall, the hygiene performance was decent, which might be due to a higher number of group travelers. However, considering the price, facilities, and overall condition, it's still a good value-for-money option and an acceptable choice.
The Fukuoka Palace Hotel in Japan is absolutely stunning and completely my style – I love it! The overall design is incredibly strong, full of geometric lines, with a sophisticated and fashionable color scheme. It's definitely the kind of aesthetic young people would fall in love with at first sight. Simple yet refined, upscale yet understated, stepping into the hotel feels like entering an art gallery. Every corner is filled with thoughtful design details, making it incredibly photogenic and creating an amazing ambiance. The room continues the overall minimalist aesthetic, clean, crisp, and very high-quality, making for a super comfortable stay. The most surprising feature was the oversized bathtub in the room, perfect for a super relaxing soak – pure bliss! The only minor drawback was the breakfast, which was rather ordinary, with average taste and variety, offering no real surprises. But putting the breakfast aside, everything else was absolutely outstanding. From the design and ambiance to the comfort, it's impeccable. This is a hotel worth revisiting purely for its aesthetics and experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates good design! It's also very conveniently located for shopping and dining, making it suitable for family trips!

I booked two separate nights and stored my luggage in between. Since it was close to my birthday, they even gave me a small gift when I checked in. When I checked out, they offered to take a photo for me, but as an introvert, I declined. The service was excellent, and it's considered a relatively large hotel for Japan. I didn't get a chance to use the public bath. The price point of 1000-1200 was acceptable.
Rooms and location are great; swimming pool not being available to children is a bit of a minus.
Very negative experience with the staff at the reception: Booked a room for 2 adults + 1 child. Our booking confirmation very explicitly said ”breakfast for 3 persons included” on every single day of the stay; only during the first breakfast we noticed that we had only been given breakfast coupons for two adults per day. In spite of pointing out repeatedly that this must have been a mistake at reception, staff repeatedly kept asking us to sign an extra breakfast fee for our 6-year-old daughter. Even after showing the booking confirmation to the staff at reception, they kept refusing to give the extra coupons for a while; we finally got them after continued complaints. Maybe the reason could have been a miscommunication between the hotel and the booking site (which however is the hotel's responsibility to fix). In any case, if you want to create the impression of being an anti-children hotel, this is exactly the way to go!

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience.
The biggest highlight is definitely the location — it’s incredibly convenient and made getting around the city very easy. Whether for sightseeing, dining, or transport, everything is within close reach, which really enhanced the stay.
The reception staff were warm and welcoming throughout. A nice touch was the complimentary beer offered in the evening, which added a relaxed and friendly vibe to the hotel experience.
However, the room itself was quite small — noticeably tighter than expected, especially if you’re traveling with luggage. It may be fine for short stays, but could feel a bit cramped over longer periods.
Cleanliness is another area that could use some improvement. While the room was generally acceptable, there were small details that didn’t feel as well-maintained as they should be.
Overall, a good choice if you value location and friendly service, but with room for improvement in cleanliness and space.

Very good hotel. Room is very clean and well maintained. Staff all very kind.
Located very close to the Hakata station.
Breakfast is fantastic, can’t believe that they have so many variety. However you must be there early, otherwise it can be very crowded and you will have to wait.

I had a very pleasant stay at The Blossom Hakata Premier. The room was clean, nice, and very comfortable perfect for relaxing after a long day out.
The location is great, with plenty of good food options around the hotel. There’s even a very popular breakfast café right beside it, which makes mornings super convenient.
Although it’s a short walk to Hakata Station, the distance is still manageable as long as it’s not raining.
Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay. I left feeling happy and satisfied, and would definitely consider coming back again.

The room that I got was Semi-Double Room 10 to 15 Sq M Typeb. Just nice for solo traveller with 1 cabin sized luggage. Mine was a big luggage and I couldn’t open it completely. Once opens, there is really no place to walk. There are small restaurants nearby and a Lawson. Hence, pretty convenient to get food. Walking distance to Canal City shopping mall.
The location is superb, within close proximity to numerous restaurants and shopping centres, and only a 10‑minute walk to Tenjin Underground Street. The property is also highly accessible—approximately a 20‑minute Uber ride from Fukuoka Airport, costing around JPY 3,000.
The room is a newly renovated Double Standard Room located on the 8th floor. While there is no external view, the layout is highly practical and well designed. The room is equipped with an electric hob, refrigerator, and electric kettle.
A pay‑per‑use washer and dryer, along with a microwave, are conveniently located in the laundry room at the lobby level. In addition, guests may enjoy complimentary use of a coffee machine at the lobby.
The aircon of 1 room was not working on first day and the staff who came to check comment the fan was faulty. So he open the window where cool air flow in nicely. My room is facing the road and it was noisy with ambulance and other vehicles cruising in mid night. Decided to change the room on 2nd day then another staff came to tune the temperature control again.. this rd, can feel the wind from ventilator. After then the aircon worked well. Location is terrific. Will stay again if come back.

DDonttell ChanThe Mercure Fukuoka Munakata Resort & Spa serves a delightful breakfast with fresh, locally sourced dishes praised for flavor and presentation. Buffets offer both Japanese and Western options, satisfying all tastes. The on‑site hot‑spring spa provides soothing mineral water ideal for post‑sightseeing relaxation. Staff are attentive and friendly, often arranging happy‑hour drinks and quick luggage help. Located in Munakata, the hotel is near the beach with convenient parking, easing visits to Fukuoka’s coastal attractions. Its quiet atmosphere enhances the stay. BTW, weekdays stay is a good choice.
Bbyti.coWonderful location! A straight walk from Hakata Station (or you can take one stop on the subway). The hotel is right outside the subway station. Very short walk to Canal City too. A 24h pharmacy nearby with an AEON mart at the basement. There's good food around too. Really great location but if you stay the STAY ROOM type, please note that you will be facing a huge cemetery 🥲. It's mostly hidden by trees but you absolutely can see it. The hotel is right infront of the cemetery. Other room types won't get that view thankfully.
There's a free to use public bath, free ice pops, and free to use microwave. Washing machine outside is paid per use. You can see the status from your room. STAY ROOM washing is free with detergent provided 👍
Service was great initially. Check in team aided with my requests. However, checkout team was not the best. I arrived at the counter, confused and in a rush but the team in the morning all stood behind the counter, leaning their backs to the wall. I utter a word of question and nobody came forward to help. I tried to figure it out myself, by slotting in the card, then finally someone came forward, no talk no acknowledgement, tapped some stuff - all in japanese - and then nothing. I was confused, then one of the English speaking stuff said ”all done”... I was very unimpressed with this service. Especially with the sight of all of them leaning against the wall when I obviously needed help. Really a downer to a good stay.
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location, being very close to both JR Hakata Station and Fukuoka Subway Station. If you're coming from JR Hakata Station's West 15 exit, simply take the elevator to ground level, cross the road, and walk about 30 meters. Alternatively, from the West 18 exit, turn right and you'll be there. Popular attractions like Tocho-ji Temple, Kushida Shrine, and Canal City Hakata are all within walking distance. It's also very easy to get to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, Tenjin Parco, Tenjin Chikagai (underground shopping mall), and other key spots.
XXiaoxiangbiziExtremely satisfied! The location is super convenient for getting around, everything is within walking distance. Coming back from a concert, I could even enjoy the massage chair, and they provide face masks and foot patches to relieve fatigue – truly a divine hotel! They even have wine for breakfast, which is amazing!
BBananaJChose this one for its location. But I have to say it is the worst 4-star hotel I’ve had in Fukuoka.
It is clean and the staff were friendly — Japanese standard.
But they organize the front desk poorly: always a long queue at check in. Under staffed and low efficiency. They installed self check-in machines but everyone using that ended up requesting staff attention. Thus, they are useless.
Breakfast is poor in Japanese standard, both quality and taste. And they charge insane price for very small kids.
Bed is terrible. Can you imagine for a 4-star hotel, the bed is made of cheap steel frame. Mine is even shaking when lying on it!
Overall not recommended. There are much better choices around Hakata station.
GGuest UserConveniently located in the Tenjin area and right next to the Tenjin stop (on the airport line) and also the underground street mall. there is a good line up for breakfast, though it only starts at 7am, which is difficult for those who are catching a 10am flight. A really busy hotel, which speaks of how good the location and service is, and perhaps the staff look over work. I made my way to the reception to get them to deliver a luggage rack up, which the reception promised she would do so personally this moment. But after 40mins still no sign and I needed to go to bed, so I made my way down and asked a 2nd time.
CClaraLinsnSpacious and comfortable room with a lovely city view. The room was clean, cosy, and well maintained, with plenty of space to relax after a long day out. Location was very convenient, close to shopping, food options, and transport. Service staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience, and we would happily stay here again 🌟
WWidjono GozaliExpensive for what you get, but I am told that Fukuoka hotels are expensive (even more than Tokyo) because of the limited hotels compared to the amount of visitors it gets. The twin rooms are ridiculous TINY- way too small for two people and our two luggages! The receptionist was helpful and apologetic, and we were able to upgrade to a bigger twin room but you still get very bare amenities.
GGuest UserThe location was superb as it's just a few steps away from the underground entrance to the metro. There's also a 24Hr supermarket just minutes walk from the hotel above ground or if it's raining you can take the metro underground walkway which will also get you right to the entrance of supermarket. There are a few drug stores nearby (for medicine / cosmetics) and some open till 9pm or even midnight. It's only a very short walk to get to Canal city shopping area which has an array of shops and dinning options.
We stayed for 5 nights and breakfast was included in our room rate and it was very good with a decent amount of choices (we ended up eating there 4/5 mornings). Although the dinning area was not very big so if you're there during peak hours there could be a bit of a wait.
The room was a standard 'Dormy' room that you'd expect in almost any other Dormy Inn but for this particular hotel we felt the cleaning needs a bit of work. We have a habit of wiping down the shelves / tables before placing our things and even after three rounds of wiping with wet cloth / tissue it's still grey which shook us a bit.
YYaoyao0905The hotel is conveniently located near the Tenjin area. You can easily reach it by taking a bus from Hakata Station towards Tenjin and getting off at Watanabe-dori 2-chome; the hotel is right across the street. Buses heading to Hakata Station stop just a 2-minute walk to the left of the hotel. Major department stores like Daimaru, Mitsukoshi, and Iwataya in the Tenjin shopping district are also easily accessible, about a 700-800 meter walk away, which is very convenient.
The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor and is very grand. The room size is decent, equipped with a wardrobe, a small round table, and a side cabinet. There's enough space to lay out one medium and one small suitcase comfortably.
Complimentary welcome coffee and drinks are available in the 3rd-floor lobby.
