Rosewood Sanya truly elevates the vacation experience! The 14th-floor sky lobby impressed me with its sophisticated ambiance right from the entrance. The sea-view rooms, starting from 68 square meters, were an amazing surprise; the floor-to-ceiling windows face the azure ocean directly, allowing you to watch the sunrise from bed. The rattan chairs on the balcony, paired with the sea breeze, were incredibly therapeutic. The 13th-floor infinity pool is a must-visit; its blue and white palette with distant views of Wuzhizhou Island makes every photo look stunning.
The room details were perfect: Dyson hairdryer and Elemis toiletries added a luxurious touch, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable that I slept soundly until morning. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, with welcoming fruits and a thoughtful souvenir, even sunscreen was provided. The fine sandy beach is within walking distance, and it's also close to the duty-free shop. The dining options were fresh and delicious. This hotel is perfectly suited for both romantic honeymoons and trips with girlfriends. I'm already looking forward to my second visit! 👑👑The service was superb!

Staying at the Mandarin Oriental Sanya was an absolute delight, and our butler, Jeremy, provided a five-star service! He greeted us right at the entrance, helped with our luggage, and thoughtfully offered iced towels and coconut water to help us cool down. When he learned I preferred a quiet room with an ocean view, he proactively arranged a room change to one with an even better view, all without me having to lift a finger. During our stay, he'd check in daily about our plans, helping me book a beachfront restaurant and plan a 'catching seafood' excursion. He even made sure sunscreen and mosquito repellent were stocked in our room. Upon checkout, he prepared a special Sanya souvenir for us. This proactive and meticulous care truly warmed our entire trip. Kiki at checkout was also very efficient and friendly. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Sanya!

1. Clearwater Bay Beach is truly fantastic (though it rained, so I'm not sure if that affected the singing). The sand is fine, the sea is blue, and there are many small sand crabs (but please release them if you catch them, they belong to the ocean!).
2. Our butler, Chloe, provided excellent service. She upgraded our room, was incredibly responsive to all our requests, and went out of her way to help us solve any issues. She contacted us in advance of our stay, and during our stay, she sent us a fruit basket and coconuts. She also actively helped us secure a prime spot for the beach BBQ (super nice).
3. The hotel itself has a strong Southeast Asian style, designed with elegance and grandeur. The corridors, arches, sculptures, and the long bar are all beautiful. At night, when the lights come on, the entire building looks incredibly sophisticated and high-quality.
4. Dining: We tried the beach BBQ, and the atmosphere was great. Although we couldn't dine directly on the sand, the lawn right next to the beach was still lovely. The food was excellent, ranking among the best buffet ingredients we've had in Sanya (with sea cucumber, abalone, caviar, lobster, hairy crabs, large oysters, etc.). However, the overall service was somewhat disappointing. The waitstaff seemed to be aimlessly busy (perhaps temporary staff who were very unprofessional), and it often took multiple calls to get their attention. The same applied to clearing plates (they'd clear a full plate of food you were still eating, but wouldn't clear empty ones). Also, the vinegared hot pot (Zao Po Cu hot pot) caught fire due to the strong wind, and the flames were quite large. Yet, the waitstaff remained unconcerned. In the end, it was a foreign staff member who helped put it out – kudos to him.
5. Bar: We tried the Singapore Sling and a Negroni. The Singapore Sling, originating from Raffles, was good, but the Negroni was very mediocre. The overall service was also quite frustrating. We had to call the waiter over just to get water, and after sitting for ten minutes, we were told our table was reserved. However, every table had a 'reserved' sign. The waiter then said some tables with signs were reserved and some weren't, which honestly left a very poor impression.
6. The hotel pool is great. The lagoon pool has a bubble activity in the afternoon, and the adult pool is also very clear. I feel like if the weather were good, we could also surf and swim by the sea. Next time, with better weather, I'll try the water activities.
7. The room view was quite good, and the housekeeping auntie was very meticulous, turning down our bed every evening.
Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives. The overall service could definitely be improved. The beach is indeed unbeatable, and the butler service was excellent. However, the service from other staff members needs strengthening. Apart from the staff near the front desk and in the Chinese restaurant who proactively greeted us, I hope other staff members around the resort can also be more proactive in greeting guests.

The room isn't small, and you get a free ride on the mini-train. The hotel offers complimentary kids' and adult activities; I particularly enjoyed the beach texture painting. The travel photography service was also decent. Breakfast was okay too, and my kids loved the clown making balloon animals during breakfast. Honestly, the Westin had more family-friendly offerings than I expected, with both an outdoor and an indoor heated kids' pool. The hotel's Sichuan restaurant was genuinely delicious. I went with low expectations as it was empty, but I was pleasantly surprised. A set meal for two adults and one child, priced at just over 400, could easily feed four people and wasn't expensive compared to outside restaurants. The ingredients were fresh, and the seasoning was just right. The open kitchen, where you could watch the chefs cook, was also a nice touch, and the service was excellent. Our butler, Mile, provided incredibly thoughtful service, sending detailed activity and dining information, and even arranged welcome fruits and small cakes. All our requests were promptly addressed, and our overall stay was very pleasant. I'll definitely come back again!
The handsome guy at the front desk upgraded me to a room with a higher floor and a better view. The room is uniquely designed, brightly lit and cozy (many hotel rooms are not very brightly lit), which is very satisfactory. We had dinner at the hotel, the restaurant service was very enthusiastic, and they specifically noted that our dishes should be lighter, and the dishes served were really good, thank you 🙏. The hotel is next to the scenic spot. Although it was drizzling, it was still nice to borrow an umbrella from the front desk to walk around. In February, I could smell the faint fragrance of osmanthus and saw many flowers I had never seen before. It is a very good hotel!
Whenever I want to eat seafood, I always like to go to Maniao. The first choice for staying is Lingao Country Garden Golden Beach. The hotel should have been opened for more than ten years. The hotel facilities are well maintained and the service level is excellent. This year, it was quite unexpected that a staff member contacted me in advance the day before check-in, and arranged a room for me in advance and upgraded it. Thank you very much.
I hope that the service level can be maintained for a long time. There are not many good hotels on the west line of Hainan.

Traveling with friends, we chose the Baoting Qixianling Hot Spring Resort Hotel. First, we were immediately impressed by its tranquil environment, lush greenery, and fresh air. The hot spring water felt wonderfully smooth on our skin. Second, the hotel staff's service attitude was exceptional; they were always ready to help, making us feel completely at home. The hotel restaurant's dinner was surprisingly good value for money, exceeding our expectations. We would definitely come back here for another vacation if we have the chance.
This was my first trip and I had a fantastic time! The cost was reasonable, and we avoided all the back-and-forth traffic that usually comes with popular tourist routes. Let me start with check-in. I'm from Haikou and after seeing good reviews and reasonable prices, I drove 2.5 hours specifically to check this place out, and it definitely didn't disappoint. First, parking was easy with plenty of spots right in front of the lobby. When I arrived, the front desk was quite busy, so I didn't expect overly enthusiastic service. With so many guests, I understood, and I was just grateful that the staff processed my check-in quickly. Second, the service was outstanding. I had booked a package deal, and due to an oversight during booking, I booked a king-sized bed for our family of four. When I brought this to the front desk's attention, the staff immediately changed us to a twin room. The room was very spacious, with a small balcony and access to the swimming pool. Xiao Lin, who was on duty that day, patiently taught me about the activities available at the resort. The swimming pool attendant was also very friendly, and the archery range attendant, being from mainland China, was very outgoing. The kids loved the complimentary archery session, then went on to play bumper cars and laser tag. They had an absolute blast, and the prices were reasonable. I ended up buying two more '3 activities for 98 yuan' packages.
Third, the food. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, probably around 60 different items. The restaurant's operating hours were also very considerate; breakfast ran until 10:30 AM and lunch until 2:30 PM. It's truly designed for a relaxed vacation. I do have a small suggestion: the Chinese restaurant's service and decor were excellent, but the Hainan sour bamboo shoot with sliced pork dish they offered that day, while delicious in Hainan, really impacted the restaurant's aroma. The entire restaurant smelled of it. I suggest perhaps offering more universally appealing dishes that don't have such a strong scent. On a positive note, the steamed yellow croaker at the restaurant was exceptionally good; my daughter said it was the best steamed fish she'd ever had. Oh, and there are also many great food options around the hotel. We ate at the hotel on our first day, and both the price and taste were good. But we also wanted to experience local cuisine, so we went into town. We were lucky to find a restaurant called 'Hunan Renjia' – the proprietress's warm welcome immediately convinced us. Our family had four dishes, all very generous portions. I highly recommend the fan bone, stir-fried crab, Japanese tofu, and steamed egg. The total bill was 245 yuan. Our kids were so satisfied; they truly cleaned their plates.
There are also many activities available. The three water activities are all grouped together: swimming, a water park, and a lazy river. (When buying tickets, make sure to check if the water park is included, as it costs 60 yuan per person if not.) There's also a naughty castle, a gym, and a beachcombing activity (starts at 9:00 AM; I recommend kids wear sandals for this, or even go barefoot to feel the seawater. Don't use the small water shoes provided by the hotel as they fill with water and are hard to walk in, preventing kids from fully experiencing the sea.) The guest rooms are also really nice. We received complimentary fresh fruit, and there's a big bathtub which we loved. The kids bathed in it on the first day, but honestly, we barely spent any time in the room afterward; there were too many fun activities to enjoy! We checked out at noon that day and didn't return to Haikou until 7:00 PM. Next time, I'll definitely aim for a three-day, two-night package. Well, I hope this review provides some helpful tips for future travelers. Oh, and if you're a light sleeper, I also recommend this place. The soundproofing in their rooms is truly excellent; not a single noise. This is my first time writing such a detailed hotel review.

Hilton Wenchang offers an opportunity to discover another curious side of Hainan. We could see Wenchang Space Launch site directly from our balcony. The beach was nearby, and we watched sunrises and sunsets there. The swimming pool was spotless clean, although only one pool out of there was open due to a low number of guests. A couple scenic spots are very close too, about 10 min drive.
There has been a delicious breakfast every morning. The staff was polite and helpful. Jason He helped us with multiple needs, such as ordering medicine, finding restaurants, and booking a shuttle bus to Wenchang railway station. The latter is free, just need to book it in advance for a certain time period.

The hotel’s advertisement is misleading. It shows that there is a kids water park and infinity pool. The kids water park is not at the Hilton. It’s at another location and you have to pay for it. The infinity pool is only if you book a suite. The manager there said we can look at it but it was dirty and have not been cleaned for awhile. I booked 2 nights. I request with the manager to cancel the 2nd night. She said I need to request through trip.com. I submitted a request to cancel the 2nd night and no one responded to me.

RRoshchupkina DariaMy girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel from October 3rd to 8th, and we absolutely loved it. Firstly, the hotel was quite affordable, and secondly, the location was perfect—it was literally a three-minute walk to the sea. Next to the beach is the promenade, which is always very lively and lively in the evenings, with many different cafes and restaurants of varying price ranges. The beach itself is very clean, the only downside is the lack of sun loungers. There are also plenty of cafes near the hotel, serving both Russian and Chinese food. There are two shopping centers nearby, and it's not far to the city center. Overall, the location was perfect. 😌 As for the hotel itself, we rented a two-room apartment, which also had a living room and a huge balcony with a sea view. The apartment was beautiful and clean, very cozy, everything was civilized and modern. The only thing was that the renovations in the living room were a bit dated, but I don't think it was a big deal; otherwise, everything was fine. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. On the 8th, he allowed us to check out two hours late and paid for a taxi to the train station. 😊 Overall, if you're looking for a budget option near the sea, this is definitely the place for you.

MM260016****Staying at this B&B was a complete surprise! The room was spotless, tidy, and tastefully decorated, with thoughtful attention to detail. The view from the window was breathtaking, and waking up to the sunshine and birdsong was truly relaxing.
The staff sent us a detailed check-in guide in advance, answered all our questions, and recommended some delicious restaurants nearby, away from the tourist crowds. Transportation was also very convenient; it wasn't long before we got on the bus, allowing us to easily reach various attractions.
Staying here felt like staying at a friend's house, and the value for money was exceptional. I'll definitely stay here again!

Everywhere was a great photo op, perfect for Instagram.
The butler service was excellent, even helping with our luggage.
Right downstairs was the beach, super convenient for playing with the kids.
Highly recommend!

MM13335****This guesthouse is apparently ranked third in all of Sanya and first in Tianya Town. The overall environment and service are pretty good, though guesthouse prices in this area are generally quite high.
Six months postpartum and traveling for work, I needed a freezer for breast milk. Although there wasn't a private fridge, the staff went above and beyond to help me find a solution, freezing it in their cabinet.
Their responsiveness and service were truly on-call and prompt, with shuttle service provided. All the staff members were very friendly and sweet.
However, I have to say that the bedding and towels in the room could be better quality. For instance, my bath towel had a small pink stain that looked like it hadn't washed out. The towel's texture wasn't very soft either, and some areas seemed to have dark marks that might be hard to clean. The bathtub wasn't very convenient to use; it moved around easily and tended to accumulate some floating debris. The bath bag also felt like it didn't fit the tub's size, so I didn't end up using it.

MM378181****I saw this hotel on Xiaohongshu and it looked so beautiful. It's very close to the beach, and it's an easy walk to the bars at night, where there are lots of people singing by the beach. The hotel's soundproofing is excellent; as soon as you close the windows, there's no music noise. The ambiance was incredible! We bought two fireworks, and many people joined us in setting them off. Palm trees, fireworks, the beach, and waves – the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. The hotel offers shuttle service, and walking to places is also very convenient. The service attitude was super good. I'll definitely recommend this to my friends next time. The hotel's pool also makes for amazing photos.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy, and the housekeeper personally came to pick us up. The service was very intimate and water and toiletries were prepared. The view from the residence is really beautiful. You can surf downstairs. There is also a shooting place for the TV drama Xiahua. There are also amusement facilities downstairs. Unfortunately, these two days are cloudy, but fortunately, this trip time is short. I will choose here next time.

First, the hotel's location is undeniably the best.
Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the hotel's cleanliness and attention to detail. The lobby exuded elegance, with its modern decor and inviting ambiance. The hotel staff promptly greeted me with warm smiles and provided exceptional service throughout my stay. Their professionalism and helpfulness truly enhanced my overall experience.
My room was a sanctuary of cleanliness and comfort. Immaculately maintained, it showcased the hotel's dedication to providing a high standard of cleanliness. The crisp linens, fresh towels, and spotless surfaces made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the breathtaking views and the hotel's pristine swimming pool. Situated on an upper floor, the panoramic vistas of the city skyline were truly awe-inspiring. I spent hours simply admiring the picturesque scenery while lounging poolside. The pool area itself was beautifully maintained, with comfortable seating and attentive staff always on hand to ensure a seamless and memorable experience.
Overall, my stay at this hotel surpassed all expectations. The exceptional location, cleanliness, and stunning views combined with exceptional services made it an unforgettable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a remarkable getaway filled with impeccable services and captivating views – you won't be disappointed!
GGuest UserLocation: 3 walking minutes from the sea, fantastic view from the balcony. No big roads, very quite. Not many supermarkets, restaurants or shops in the neighbourhood, but there is the essential.
Apartment: very good, looking to the north so not hit by the sun, wonderful covered balcony, even with the typhoon one could sit there. Clean, good beds, functioning and quite air conditioning, kitchen with basic utilities.
Building: it is a mix of residential building and hotel. One can see that in the past it must have been a wonderful 5 stars hotel, now needs some renovations.
As usual English is a problem but the ladies at the reception are ready and well equipped to communicate using translation apps.
Service: I wanted high floor and booked 10th floor, they gave me 13th (thank you!) Right and left there were stairs, so no neighbours, also very quite (also because of the massive walls). Some neighbour in the hallway sometimes left the door open so I could hear his TV, but it didn't bothered me.
Conclusion: considering the price, it was a great stay.

JJiajiadejia1209Right across from People's Park, with free parking downstairs and easy access to taxis. The hotel offers complimentary snacks and unlimited drinks, plus robot delivery service, giving it a very modern and high-tech feel. The bedding in the room is quite comfortable. However, the open-plan sink area can be a bit noisy, and while the toilet is separate, it's not fully enclosed. This could be awkward if you're sharing with someone you're not very close to; it's really only suitable for families.

GGuest UserThe environment is beautiful, the service is warm and thoughtful, and the hotel service is particularly intimate.
There is tea to quench thirst when entering the hotel. I went to the front desk of the botanical garden and gave insect spray intimately. When I left, I also gave some fruit enthusiastically. The sunset is also OK.
