Hotels With Pools in Lisbon District, Portugal

Great place to spend your stay in Lisbon, its nearby to Lisbon centre, walking distance. The facilities are good and its value for money. PS: I stayed in month of December which is usually quite in comparison to summer.

It's been a while, but the memory is still vivid. The room was spacious, and breakfast was excellent – unlimited egg tarts! The capsule coffee was surprisingly good, comparable to freshly ground. Maybe I was just exhausted, but this last stop was pretty good. It started raining heavily as we left, marking the beginning of the rainy season, yet the taxi drivers didn't overcharge, which felt like a perfect ending! I must have a soft spot for Portugal; even after 10 days, I still wanted more. So, I'm happy to express my gratitude to the places I stayed and the people who helped and served me! Excellent stay! We arrived early, our room was still ready, but the reception staff were concerned about our well-being, regarding food and comfort. They immediately gave us towels to enjoy the heated indoor pool, Turkish bath and sauna. We were alerted that rooms were available and were treated to a fantastic sea view. Very good breakfast. We loved it, we will go back and I recommend the Spa Relax experience.

VIP Hotel is an absolute gem for value for money. For 800 yuan, you get a room that accommodates four people, and it's spacious! It even has a kitchen fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, cutlery, and plates. We even made delicious dumplings here. It would have been perfect if there was also a kettle. We stayed for three nights, and the front desk kindly agreed to a 1.5-hour late check-out, which was very accommodating, unlike hotels in Madrid that would charge extra. There are two Japanese ramen restaurants and two small supermarkets within a 2-minute walk, and it's about a 10-minute walk to Avenida da Liberdade. Taxis in Lisbon are relatively inexpensive; it cost 30 Euros by taxi to Cabo da Roca (I highly recommend this attraction, it's the westernmost point of continental Europe, where the land ends and the sea begins). It's 10-15 Euros by taxi from Terminal 1 at the airport. Bolt or Uber work great (try to avoid regular taxis, as they tend to overcharge and not use meters; I was overcharged by 15 Euros on my ride from the airport to the hotel. I later realized that the Uber pick-up point at Lisbon Airport is closer and more convenient than the taxi stand, which makes sense to reduce the chances of foreign tourists being scammed by taxis). Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

The hotel was clean and the service was nice. However, I leave two recommendations that could improve the experience considerably: the application of blackout curtains in the rooms, because those currently in place leave a lot of light; and the addition of more channels in TV, Because it has only the normal channels at this moment.

I recently stayed at Hotel Lumen and had a really great experience. The service was outstanding – the staff were friendly, helpful and always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are delightfully spacious and modern, much larger than what you usually find, with comfortable king size bed. The bar deserves a special mention: they serve excellent drinks and cocktails, perfect for unwinding in the evening at also to see the lightshow from or going out to the patio Location-wise, it's very convenient depending on your plans – close to metro and within easy reach of both the city center and other areas. Overall, highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Ao nível do quarto tudo OK, a única falha é que tinha apenas um ventilador que não era suficiente para refrescar o quarto, seria necessário um AC. O que mais desapontou foi que na zona de estar/salão de jogos nunca tinha ninguém para atender e a falta de limpeza da piscina e jacuzzi exteriores. Mas no geral gostámos e tivemos uma boa estadia. Todo o staff foi simpático.

Second stay in this hotel. This time I stayed for 3 days. Things were ok but there were a couple of details that were not up to I expected. Unfortunately, pool and steam room were still under renovations so only sauna was available. One of the days, the cleaning lady took all my bath towels and forgot to replenish it and she just left me with only a single hand towel. I had to do to the front office to ask for a set of bath towels to take shower. Shout out to Joaquim from front office, that he actually after his shift came up to hand me a new set of towels. Also on the second day during breakfast I took an egg that was supposed to be boiled and after I cracked it, I made a mess of myself and the table, as the kitchen staff had put raw eggs on display, instead of boiled eggs. I will still eventually choose to stay in this hotel as it has an amazing co-working lobby, a nice bar and an overall nice atmosphere, but these 2 events were not very pleasant.

The location is great, with plenty of bus stops nearby, making it very convenient to get around. There are McDonald’s and cafés within walking distance, so food options are easy to find. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and even helped me print my train ticket. The breakfast selection is quite complete and reasonably priced—better than looking for breakfast outside. I didn’t really like the bathroom design , it’s not convenient for hanging clothes or getting changed, and it can be a bit troublesome if two friends are sharing the room.
