"It was a really lovely stay but communication with staff was rather difficult. Overall a lovely hotel with great service to ski resorts but please not there there are no convenience stores or services around the property. Food however on site was amazing! Love the bus schedules to the different ski resorts!"

This ryokan is the furthest from Main Street. But I love the hospitality from the owner and the authenticity of this place. There is a private onsen available in the ryokan, just need to pre register. They provide access to shibu onsen as well.
Recommended to book your dinner with them. Restaurants in shibu onsen either close very early or not open regularly. We missed our dinner, but the owner is kind enough to prepare a simple oyakudon for us.
Though this place is at the beginning of forest trail to snow monkey park. But it is close during winter. Just take note.

I had a large tatami room with side sitting area and sink as well as an ante-room. I had three delicious Japanese meals at the ryokan that were served with polite elegance. The two in-house onsen baths were a joy to use after a day of skiing. The staff was knowledgeable about how to get around by the buses and suggested the best restaurants for days that I did not eat at the ryokan. Senshinkan Matsuya was situated in the center of.Shibu Onsen town next to three of the public onsen. I could not ask for a better stay!

在湯田中車站附近的旅館羣中，距離車站大概2-300米。嘉美也是個日式感十足的旅館，蘑菇頭小哥會詳細的介紹各種情況以至於我感覺從入住到拿到鑰匙進房中間聽他介紹了大概20-30分鐘。
我們入住的園景+浴室房，其實是公用園景，其他房間如果有人在移門邊的話是會看到的。浴室以為是露天泡澡池，其實是房間內有個廁所帶浴室而已，且浴室冬天極冷，只有一個小取暖爐，沒啥大用。房間內空調感覺也不太給力，還有個大暖爐，靠近很暖和，房間內總體是暖和的。入住時旅館會在房間內保温好熱水、日式點心供旅客使用。
因為房間很少，所以晚上極為安靜，不會有樓上以及關門聲。
這家旅館內提供兩個公共温泉（含露天温泉池），晚餐以及另外兩個温泉需要走5分鐘到萬屋內使用。
整體體驗還是不錯的，但是萬物晚餐和旅館內早餐都是日式料理風格，個人不喜歡。

Guest UserAs a base for climbing Kiso komagatake, I was taken care of in 2 nights and 3 days.
It was very close to the bus stop for the ropeway platform and had excellent access. The staff were warm and polite, and I was able to relax from the bottom of my heart. The quality of the hot springs is also excellent, and I am very satisfied that I can heal the tiredness of climbing.
