Our Russian-speaking guide, Mr. Wang, was fantastic! His enthusiasm and patience went without saying; his explanations were detailed and thorough yet gentle and unpretentious. Because our meeting ran late and we couldn't confirm the exact time in advance, Mr. Wang arrived two hours early at the South Gate of the Temple of Heaven to wait for us – we are incredibly grateful! His photography skills are professional, and he even made us a short video, which delighted our Russian clients who were visiting Beijing for the first time. As their hosts, we were also very pleased. In short, words cannot express our gratitude – thank you, Mr. Wang!!! 🌹

We booked the temple of heaven on our last day and it was amazing! Roger was the best guide and to make it better, we were only the two of us and he made sure we enjoyed the VIP treatment! He gave us the in-depth history about the temple and also gave us his honest impression and opinion! This is the realest! He also made sure we got refreshments and took deserved breaks. Even if it was just the two of us, he insisted on using the microphone in the crowds so we can still have the best experience! Knowing that we also wanted to go to summer palace, he also took us along and made a booking for us which was super convenient! I would advise to book this heavenly trip with a real Beijing guide and hospitable! Roger made our last day count, both at temple garden and bonus Summer palace! He is also a great photographer!

A huge thank you to Guide Cui for his excellent explanation! Guide Cui is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the Temple of Heaven, its ancient architecture, and the ritual stories behind the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Circular Mound Altar, and the Echo Wall. His explanations were clear and easy to understand, making the ancient imperial rituals for worshipping Heaven, the colors, the architecture, and the symbolism of the numbers all vivid and engaging. He managed the two and a half hours perfectly. It wasn't just about taking photos; I gained a deeper understanding of the profound traditional cultural heritage behind the Temple of Heaven's ancient architecture. The visit was very rewarding and highly recommended!

Melonie was amazing, no complaints at all. Even though the weather was not ideal, she kept her cool, and was very nice to everyone. The meeting point was easy to find, she sent very thoughtful instructions on WhatsApp before our visit. We connected on WeChat so if someone got lost they could call her and if we had any questions she answered patiently. She sends additional info on what to see, where to go, where to eat etc.

We love history and this was an outstanding tour! Cindy Chen met us early in the hotel foyer, and our driver was ready outside with a cool, air-conditioned car and bottled water. Cindy went above and beyond all day. Her English is fluent, and she explained the history and purpose of each building, the moat views, and the symbolism behind colors and imperial numbers. She had great conversations with my adult sons, answering their questions about military marches in detail, and took excellent family photos. Walking 11,000 steps was substantial, especially in heat like peak summer back home even though it is autumn here. Cindy paced the day well with restful stops, kindly helped arrange a tea ceremony, and guided us to a great dumpling lunch spot. We would have gotten lost without a guide and likely missed our evening train, but our tour ran seamlessly. Thank you so much, Cindy! We will definitely recommend you to our friends and family and hope to see you when we visit Beijing again!
