I thought the tour guide would be English-speaking when I bought the ticket, but it turned out to be both English and Chinese-speaking. The Chinese-speaking guide was very friendly, and the price was well worth it. We had lunch and snacks after the day trip, which was great. I need to practice swimming when I get back; I'm too nervous to go in the water, haha. We got to eat the fish we caught ourselves, which was especially delicious! The sea urchins, both cooked and raw, were also good, and at 10 yuan each, they were a great deal. A plate of snails for 15 yuan was also very good! Recommended.

Everything went great. They picked us up from the hotel and brought us back. On the first island, we were free to wander around and watch a show that was part of the program. We had lunch there, and then sailed to the second island. There, we were also free to wander around or to watch animal performances at the circus. There's a monkey trail where they roam freely. You can buy food and feed the monkeys.

We enjoyed the trip itself. While you shouldn't expect anything spectacular, we were sure to have a fun, active, and enjoyable day. We'd like to commend our guide, Hai, for creating a warm atmosphere and sharing many interesting insights into Vietnam.

Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed the day. The first island, Hon Mun Island, was definitely the highlight. The snorkeling was amazing — lots of beautiful coral and fish, and we got some great pictures. You are provided with goggles and a snorkel, but I would recommend wearing something like Crocs or water shoes because it’s quite rocky and slippery getting into the water. Just a note about the toilets — you need to buy a bucket of water to use them instead of having toilet paper, so it’s probably a good idea to bring your own. We also did the optional stop with the mud baths and mineral pools, which was really good. The facilities were very clean and organised. The hotel pickup was good and the speedboat transfers between the islands were all pretty smooth. Our guides were friendly and we had no issues communicating with them in English. Don’t expect a first-class or luxury experience, but that’s not really what this trip is about. It’s a great day out.

Everything was great, the buffet was delicious, the English guide spoke passable Russian, and the bus arrived right on time. The guide looked after his staff like they were in kindergarten.
