Ski Jam Katsuyama
Ski Jam Katsuyama is located in Katsuyama, Fukui Prefecture, and is one of the larger ski destinations in Japan's Kansai Region. The resort consists of three areas: Variety Site (suitable for beginner to intermediate levels), Illusion Site (suitable for intermediate to advanced levels), and Fantasy Site (suitable for intermediate levels), with an elevation difference of 710 m (610 m–1320 m). Most ski resorts in Japan have hot springs, so having one is not unusual. Daihonzan Eiheiji
Eihei-ji Temple is located in Eihei-ji-cho, Yoshida-gun, Fukui Prefecture. It is the main temple of the Soto Zen sect, known as "Kushi-san." It was founded in 1244 by Dogen Zenji as a center for the practice of zazen. Dogen Zenji was born in Kyoto in 1200 and became a monk on Mount Hiei at the age of 14. In the spring of his 24th year, he traveled to Mount Tendo in China to study under Master Nyojo, inheriting the Buddhist teachings of "zazen" (sitting meditation) from Sakyamuni Buddha and returning to Japan. The temple was built according to the style of Mingzhou Zen temples from the Song Dynasty, displaying a typical layout of Zen temples. The ancient temple remains well-preserved, with its simple wooden architecture. The central focus of practice here is zazen, but zazen is not the only aspect. It is important to integrate the spirit of zazen into daily life. For example, the monks' daily work of wiping the corridors with cloths is a form of "dynamic zazen." With it being only a cheap entry and being a beautiful location it was an amazing experience with the most displays and robots I have ever seen in a museum. If you love your dinosaurs this is a must visit

The stone walls are made of large stones piled up, and are precious historical sites in Japan.

You will be taught by a monk!
The temple grounds are spacious and surrounded by nature, and it feels great. There are souvenir shops, soba restaurants, and restaurants serving miso cutlets nearby, so it's a great place for lunch.

Wonderful !!! We stayed from 9 a.m. till 10 p.m. so much fun for kids and adults ! Nintendo zone was a blast ! Harry Potter zone is amazing ! Back to childhood ! Amazing experience! Lots of snacks and food that makes staying comfortable. Long queues though. Bu tot was a pleasure even to be there !
