"The two cities tour routes and the Chinese guide book are doing very well. It is the most organized scenic spot in Japan for a week of free travel. ~ worth a visit! The Chinese guide book at the door must remember to take it!"
    Kyoto.Nijo Castle
    1.8km from downtown
Highlights: Once the acting residence of the Tokugawa shoguns while in Kyoto, Nijo Castle is also serves as a symbol of the power of the Tokugawa Shogunate. The castle is surrounded by high walls and a moat, with the inside rooms connected by a corridor installed with the famous "nightingale floors". These floors were designed to make a chirping sound when walked upon so as to prevent intruding assassins at night. The castle opens in the evening during cherry blossom season, attracting flocks of visitors to view the magnificent cherry blossom trees.

"In recent times, I have come to Kyoto to walk in Kamogawa, walking aimlessly, it seems to be a reservation trip to Kyoto. Eagles fly in the sky, sky sky flying the herons, wild ducks on the river, etc., etc., there is a kind of peace and beauty."
    Kyoto.Kyoto Station
    3.5km from downtown
Highlights: Kamo River is a popular river that flows through the center of Kyoto. Featuring a beautiful landscape with clear water, the river is lined with walking paths and cycling paths, and couples can often be seen snuggled up on the banks as waterfowl play and hunt in the riverbed. It is particularly beautiful in cherry blossom season as the cherry trees on both banks spring into bloom and egrets play in the river. In summer, traditional Kawatoko cuisine at the riverside restaurants gives visitors a rare taste into the life of Kyoto.

"Remember 2019.11 Kansai Late Autumn Festival~ Yasaka Shrine is not far from the hotel where you live, and you can walk. Sometimes you pass by when you go to other attractions in the morning, and pass by when you return at night. You wear a kimono that day and go to Yasaka Shrine to make a card. The different scenes of the Yasser Shrine during the day and night are appreciated. The scenery is charming and beautiful against the blue sky and white clouds, and the lanterns that light up in the shrine are particularly solemn and quiet under the dusk. Different scenery, completely different feelings. The Yasaka Shrine in Kyoto is relatively large and holds a Gion sacrifice every year. The people who come to Yasaka Shrine to pray for blessings are endless and very popular. Next to the Yasaka Shrine is Yuanshan Park, you can visit together."
    Kyoto.Gion
    1.3km from downtown
Highlights: Located in the Higashiyama scenic area of Kyoto and commonly called Gion Shrine, Yasaka Shrine is the most important Shinto shrine of the approximately 3,000 sub-shrines throughout Japan. The rather unique mikoshi (divine palanquin) within allows visitors the chance to pray to the God of Beauty. The shrine's ritual activity is known as the Gion Festival (Gion Matsuri), which is one of the three great Shinto festivals of Japan, together with the Kanda Festival (Kanda Matsuri) in Tokyo and the Tenjin Festival (Tenjin Matsuri) in Osaka. Yasaka Shrine is also a popular hanami (cherry blossom viewing) site in spring.

"Remember 2019.11 Kansai Late Autumn Festival~ Yuanshan Park is connected to the Yasaka Shrine, you can play together. The scenery of Yuanshan Park is very pleasant and very suitable for viewing and sightseeing. Yuanshan Park in the maple leaf season, red, orange, yellow and green, all colors overlap, beautiful, really friendly to the eyes. The scenery is so wonderful, there are not many tourists, the environment is quiet, really comfortable. Wear a kimono, stroll through it, experience the peace of the heart, and feel the beauty of nature."
    Kyoto.Gion
    1.4km from downtown
Highlights: Yuanshan Park was built in 1886, which is an earlier park. Located on the east side of Yasaka Shrine, it covers an area of about 90,000 square meters. In the circle, there is a swimming pool and spring courtyard as the central area, surrounded by snack bars and tea houses. It is a well-known cherry blossom viewing area in Kyoto, with beautiful scenery all year round. The "weeping cherry" trees are more than 200 years old and are a precious variety of cherry blossoms. "Night Cherry Blossoms in Diyuan" is a program during the flower viewing season, and the park is designated as a scenic spot for this reason. Every summer Saturday, the Field Music Hall has a special concert.
