Set sail for the islands! 4 city ferry + cross-sea bridge routes for a healing sea journey — traveler post in Shengsi

Set sail for the islands! 4 city ferry + cross-sea bridge routes for a healing sea journey

On one side, a magnificent cross-sea bridge spans the blue ocean; on the other, a slow-paced ferry ride. With the sea breeze on your face and the water sparkling, slowly sailing toward an island is a romance unique to the coast. These four cities feature spectacular bridges and well-established ferry routes with reliable schedules, perfect for those who enjoy slow travel by sea. ✅ Zhoushan (Zhejiang) The Zhoushan Cross-Sea Bridge complex allows you to drive across and connect various islands. Ferries travel to Mount Putuo, Shengsi, and Taohua Island. With rich sea routes and numerous islands, you'll find blue seas, fishing villages, sandy beaches, and East China Sea scenery. ✅ Zhanjiang (Xuwen) Qiongzhou Strait Ferry! This is the essential route from the mainland to Hainan. Vehicles and passengers board together to sail across the Qiongzhou Strait. With endless blue sea and the cross-sea passage, the voyage to Haikou offers a great atmosphere. ✅ Qingdao (Shandong) The Jiaozhou Bay Bridge is an ultra-long bridge spanning the bay, offering expansive ocean views. The ferry between Qingdao and Huangdao is a classic, nostalgic experience, offering views of the city coastline, red-tiled roofs, and blue seas. ✅ Taizhou (Zhejiang) The Dachen Island ferry route departs from Jiaojiang Pier. The voyage offers views of the East China Sea with moderate waves. Dachen Island features reefs, fishing villages, and coastal cliffs—a quiet, niche destination with few tourists. 💡 Ferry travel tips ▫️Tickets: Tickets are in high demand during peak season, so be sure to book online in advance. For vehicle ferries, queue up even earlier. ▫️Weather: Fog and strong winds are common at sea, which can cause temporary ferry cancellations. Check for notices before you depart. ▫️Motion sickness: Bring motion sickness medication and try to choose the upper deck for better ventilation. ▫️Clothing: The sea breeze is strong, so bring a light jacket even in summer. ▫️Photography: The ferry deck offers the best views. Stay safe and do not lean against dangerous railings.

Found it! Huanglong Island is officially my all-time favorite island. — traveler post in Shengsi

Found it! Huanglong Island is officially my all-time favorite island.

Honestly, I never expected to fall in love with it this much. It’s not one of those overly polished, unapproachable tourist spots. Instead, it feels like a fishing village where time has stood still. Stone houses hug the hillsides, and the coastal road is so peaceful that all you can hear is the wind. With just one taxi and three guesthouses on the entire island, it feels like having the whole place to yourself. 🏝️ Why visit Huanglong Island? ✅ East China Sea Stone Village: Houses are clustered along the slopes like a "Shengsi version of Santorini." The winding stone alleys make you feel like you've stepped back in time. ✅ Chibo Mountain: The contrast of the ochre-red cliffs against the deep blue sea and sky is breathtaking. It’s a group of rocky reefs that's perfect for sunset views and fresh sea breezes—and it’s free to visit. ✅ Yuanbao Mountain: Trek to the top for a panoramic view of the entire island. You'll also find two mysterious "wind-moved rocks" at the summit. ✅ Nangang Village: The island’s "downtown." Check out One Meter Street, the Fishing Folk Museum, and the Fishing Plaza to experience the authentic vibe of local life. ✅ Lost Villa (Da Le Zhi Ye): A stunning guesthouse perched on a cliff. You can see the ocean right from your window, watch the sunset by the infinity pool, and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. 🚢 Getting There: Take a ferry from Shanghai’s Shenjiawan Wharf to the main Shengsi Island (approx. 1 hour), then transfer to another boat for Huanglong Island (approx. 15 minutes). During peak season (July–October), there are direct ferries from Shenjiawan. 💡 Pro-Tips: Supplies on the island are limited and prices can be high, so eating at your guesthouse is recommended. The weather can change quickly, so check ferry schedules in advance. Renting an electric bike is the best way to explore and enjoy the breeze. The charm of Huanglong Island lies in its quiet, unassuming beauty. Go see it for yourself before the crowds arrive! 🌊

The ultimate guide to Huanglong Island, Shengsi, Zhoushan: Everything you need to know — traveler post in Shengsi

The ultimate guide to Huanglong Island, Shengsi, Zhoushan: Everything you need to know

There is a hidden gem of an island in Shengsi, Zhoushan—Huanglong Island It is perfect for travelers, families with kids, and couples looking to unwind for a few days. This guide covers everything from getting to the island to sightseeing and accommodation. If you are planning to visit this off-the-beaten-path island, be sure to save this post! 📩 🎫 Ferry tickets: You can purchase them 7 days in advance via Zhoushan Transportation. We took a direct ferry from Shanghai to Huanglong Island ⛵️ ✅ Direct ferry: Shenjiawan Pier 👉 Huanglong Island. It uses a smaller, faster boat, but it can be a bit rocky. The trip takes 1 hour. Direct ferries are only available during peak season ✅ Connecting ferry: Shenjiawan Pier 👉 Shengsi, then another pier in Shengsi 👉 Huanglong Island. The larger boats are more stable but slower. Also, the arrival pier and departure pier in Shengsi are different, requiring a trip of about 16 km (about 40 minutes by taxi) 🚗 Getting around the island: Taxis cost 30–40 RMB per ride. There are also buses I recommend renting a single-person electric scooter 🛵. It costs 2 RMB for the first 10 minutes and 2 RMB for every 5 minutes thereafter. 4-person scooters are a bit more expensive (be careful not to exceed the allowed range) 🏨 Accommodation: There are very few hotel options on Huanglong Island The place we stayed this time was great. They offer pick-up/drop-off services and it is good value for money, so we booked two nights 📍 Dielai Huanglong Boutique Homestay (Shengsi Huanglong Island Branch) Surrounded by the sea on three sides, the views are incredible. You can watch the sunrise and sunset right from the homestay. The bedding is clean, and you can see the ocean as soon as you open the window 🌊 ✅ The homestay features an on-site seaside restaurant, a children's play area, and an infinity pool. It is like a pearl on Huanglong Island ✅ Next to the hotel, there is a lighthouse, a coffee shop, a cultural and creative shop, and a whole field of cacti. I was blown away by the beauty!! 👉 Dining There are very few restaurants on the island. Besides the hotel restaurant, there are only 2 others. We ate at both, and the prices were clearly marked and reasonable ✅ Meizi Restaurant: This is the restaurant at the Dielai homestay where we stayed. The environment is great, with large floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea. The home-style dishes are cooked by local aunties. We ate both breakfast and dinner here! ✅ Zaodian Jian Mianguan: It has an authentic, smoky flavor. The environment is average, but the seafood noodles are delicious. We finished everything! 👉 What to do on the island? ✅ Recommended attractions: Free admission Yuanbao Mountain: You can see the Yuanbao Stone from the homestay. My daughter said it looks like the Stone Goddess Chibo Mountain: There is a seaside reef boardwalk and a blue whale sculpture. It is very photogenic and beautiful! ✅ Island loop road: You can ride the electric scooter along almost the entire loop. There is hardly any traffic, and there is beautiful scenery everywhere~ Besides these, there are pristine fishing boats, beaches, and many small crabs visible on the reefs. It is truly a peaceful and beautiful place Experiencing the life of an islander on this relatively pristine island with little commercial atmosphere is just amazing!

Autumn on Huaniao Island: Fewer crowds, blue seas, and leaving your heart in the East China Sea — traveler post in Shengsi

Autumn on Huaniao Island: Fewer crowds, blue seas, and leaving your heart in the East China Sea

I've seen many islands. In peak season, the beaches are crowded and noisy, and even the seawater seems muddied by the commotion. It wasn't until I stepped onto Huaniao Island in autumn that I suddenly understood: the islands you remember for a lifetime aren't necessarily the most popular ones, but the ones that let you find peace. The sea here is bluer, the crowds are smaller, and the breeze is clearer. Standing on the shore, watching the waves roll in layer by layer, the tangled emotions of daily life are blown away, soft and light, by the sea breeze. On Huaniao Island in autumn, the sea is the first thing to see. On sunny days around Nanwan, the water is a clean, deep blue, as if the sky has been pressed onto the surface of the sea. The beach isn't huge, but it's wonderfully quiet. You can stroll along the shore and listen to the waves brushing against the sand. I highly recommend heading near the lighthouse at dusk to watch the orange sunset illuminate the sea. The white lighthouse stands there, as if guarding a quiet moment for everyone. The mountain paths on the island are also worth exploring at a leisurely pace. In autumn, the roadsides are lined with reeds, wildflowers, and the relaxed vibe inherent to fishing villages. Blue and white cottages spread out along the slopes, with unassuming flowers growing by the walls, and fishing nets or drying catches occasionally visible at doorways. When you get tired of walking, just stop, face the East China Sea, and zone out for a while. This kind of aimless wandering is often the most memorable. When traveling to Huaniao Island, be sure to arrange your transportation in advance. You can only get here by boat. I recommend checking the connections from Shengsi Main Island to Xiaocaiyuan Pier beforehand, then taking the ferry to the island. Autumn sea conditions can change quickly, and schedules may be adjusted, so it's safest to confirm everything before you depart. If you are prone to seasickness, bring motion sickness medication and try to choose a window seat. The time spent watching the sea will pass quickly. You can choose your accommodation based on your preferences. If you want peace and quiet, choose a homestay by the sea or with a terrace, where you can watch the sea in the morning and listen to the waves at night. If you want convenience, choose a place near the pier or in the village, which makes dining and getting around easier. Autumn is the off-season for the island, so there are more accommodation options, but I still recommend booking popular sea-view rooms in advance. As for food, there's no need to look for elaborate feasts. The most comfortable way to eat on the island is to find a local eatery and enjoy fresh seafood, steamed fish, stir-fried clams, and a bowl of hot seafood noodles. Seafood is plump and delicious in autumn, so ask the owner what's fresh that day before ordering; it's more reliable than just picking blindly from the menu. Don't be careless with your clothing and supplies. The island looks gentle, but the wind can be quite strong. I recommend bringing a windbreaker for autumn, as the temperature difference between day and night is significant, and it's very practical to have on hand. Choose comfortable shoes that can handle beaches, rocks, and mountain paths. Also, bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and mosquito repellent so you don't let negligence spoil your fun. I have a question I'd love to ask you: If you were to temporarily escape your daily routine, would you rather stay in a homestay facing the sea, or in a fishing village location that's more convenient for dining? One final reminder: Huaniao Island is best for those who want to quietly watch the sea, not for those chasing popular attractions. Slow down your pace, watch the blue sea, walk the mountain paths, and wait for a lighthouse sunset. It will become a memory you'll cherish from your autumn. If you like this kind of niche island guide, remember to save it. You're also welcome to tell me in the comments which other islands you're interested in, and I'll continue to organize practical, personally tested tips for you.

6 hidden gem travel destinations in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai that are stunningly beautiful—is there one you want to visit? — traveler post in Shengsi

6 hidden gem travel destinations in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai that are stunningly beautiful—is there one you want to visit?

Want to take great photos without waiting for crowds to clear out? The Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region actually has a solution. For each of the 6 places below, we can tell you exactly "where to stand to snap the shutter." Ranking first is Tianmu Lake Tourist Resort in Liyang, Jiangsu. How are they ranked? We don't look at popularity; we look at three things: how many days a year it looks good, whether the photo spots are clearly defined, and how convenient it is to get in and out. As for whether it's crowded, that's ranked last—anyway, none of these places rely on being packed. | Tianmu Lake Tourist Resort, Liyang, Jiangsu We recommend this place first, so let's talk about photo spots. The first is on the lakeshore in front of the Shanshui Garden pier—boats dock at Longxing Island, and the island trail follows the waterline. In the afternoon, side lighting hits the lake, creating a bright ribbon stretching from the island tip to the lens. Stand at the turn in the trail with the water behind you. The second spot is in the ground cable car at Nanshan Bamboo Sea: 35,000 acres of bamboo forest surge up outside the window. When the car goes around a bend, the bamboo tips press against the glass—just snap a photo for a purely green image. The third spot is the "Three Provinces Boundary Monument" at the entrance to Jiming Village. You can stand with your feet in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui at the same time. You can't get a "standing in three places at once" photo like this anywhere else. The fourth spot is the Wuyue Di-yi Peak on the aerial cableway, where the mountain ridge line bordering Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui is all in view. It looks best in the evening when the clouds hang low. Beyond photo spots, it's also easy to get around. It's a 26-minute high-speed train ride to Liyang Station, and a drive of just over 10 minutes from the station. It's also about an hour and a half from Shanghai and Hangzhou. Take a boat in the morning to see the lake—this year, the boats feature "Lake Elegance" gatherings. There are over 50 sessions a day, with NPCs in traditional Chinese attire following the boat, ready to chat, recite poetry, or play guessing games, which adds people to your shots. In the afternoon, take the ground cable car into the bamboo forest. In the evening, the 60 hot spring pools at Yushui Hot Spring are built along the mountain slope. The higher you go, the closer the pools are to the bamboo canopy. The steam rising from the pools against the backdrop of bamboo shadows makes for the last great photo of the day. Prices follow low and peak seasons: CNY 238 and CNY 218. On Fridays and Saturdays, the night session is extended until 10:00 PM. For dinner, the fish head dish must be made with silver carp—the soup is white when served. Try the black rice with sugar and sliced braised liver for a hearty meal; the whole table is full of local flavors. There's one more spot not on the plan: in autumn, a thin mist rises over the lake in the evening. Shooting silhouettes against the backlight is much more interesting than the lake at noon. The foundation of this place stands up to scrutiny: the lake water pH is 7.8, slightly alkaline; forest coverage is 95%; and Liyang has recorded 253 centenarians. | Taizhou Prefecture City, Linhai (Taizhou, Zhejiang) The photo spots are on the walls, not the ground. The main body of the Taizhou Prefecture City Wall is about 5 km long. The 198 stone steps at Lan Sheng Gate are called "Hero Slope." Shooting from the bottom up captures the depth of the entire wall section. On the wall, there are rare curved flood-control buttresses, and turning around offers a different composition. Ziyang Street in the city is 1,080 meters long and retains the Song Dynasty neighborhood layout. When the lanterns light up in the evening, the whole street is a ribbon of light. East Lake has been free to enter since January 1, 2026, and the garden water surface is very clean. Adult tickets for the city wall are CNY 55, and CNY 30 for ages 60–69. Ziyang Street, Jinshan, and Longxing Temple are free. The fastest train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Linhai is 2 hours and 21 minutes, with second-class seats costing CNY 155–170. Eat seaweed cakes, egg white sheep tail, and wheat shrimp. | Shengzhou (Shaoxing, Zhejiang) The best place for shooting "old houses." Chongren Ancient Town is free to enter. Centered around the Yushan Ancestral Hall in Xiaoshi, it preserves over 150 Ming and Qing dynasty gatehouses. Cobblestone alleys connect the old houses one after another, and it's most photogenic when light cuts diagonally from the top of the alley. The ancient stage at Yushan Ancestral Hall is where the early "Xiao Ge Ban" Yue opera troupes performed. There are free short plays on weekends from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. The brick, stone, and wood carvings at the City God Temple (Xishan First Building) are worth a special trip. The ancient stage is 14.2 meters high and entirely made of mortise and tenon structures; admission is free. Adult tickets for Yue Opera Town are CNY 50. The fastest train from Hangzhou East to Shengzhou Xinchang is 43 minutes, with second-class seats costing CNY 56–69; from Nanjing South, it's 1 hour and 58 minutes. Eat Shengzhou soup dumplings, stir-fried rice cakes, and fermented chicken. | Wuyi (Jinhua, Zhejiang) Shoot ancient architecture by day and soak in hot springs by night—get both types of scenes in one trip. The Jingyuan Ancient Residential Museum brings together 87 old houses relocated from Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, and Fujian. The Li Family Hall was built during the Zhengde period of the Ming Dynasty and is a filming location for "The Furthest Distance." You can spend a long time shooting the carved doors and windows; adult tickets are CNY 60, and CNY 39.9–48 online. After dark, enter the Tangfeng Hot Spring. With mineral springs 330 meters deep and over 20 pools, the string lights in the steam create a different vibe. Adult tickets start at CNY 138. The fastest train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Wuyi North is 2 hours and 01 minute, with second-class seats costing CNY 135.5–169.5. A reminder: Qingshuiwan Qin Hot Spring has been closed for a long time, so don't look for it based on old guides. Eat Wuyi vinegar chicken, small stream fish, and bamboo tube rice. | Haining (Jiaxing, Zhejiang) A single photo can have water, a pagoda, and the tide all at once. Yanguan Tide-Watching Resort Park stretches 1,360 meters along the river and is the best place to watch the "linear tide." The park has the Ming Dynasty Zhan'ao Pagoda and the nationally protected fish-scale stone embankment. If you take continuous shots the second the tide rushes in, you'll definitely get one worth keeping. Tickets are CNY 30 in the low season and CNY 90 in the tide-watching season, or CNY 80 for a joint ticket with the Tide Music City. If you want to shoot something quiet, go to the free Luzhong Ancient Town—the Deyi Bridge, built in the 12th year of the Ming Yongle reign (1414), is a three-arch stone slab bridge with stone lions still standing on the railings. The town is the hometown of the Southern Song female poet Zhu Shuzhen. The core area is only 0.3 square kilometers and almost empty. The train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Haining West takes 39–48 minutes, with second-class seats costing CNY 55–73. It's most crowded around the 18th day of the eighth lunar month, so coming in October is actually more relaxed. Eat Haining banquet balls, osmanthus cakes, and mutton noodles. | Shengsi (Zhoushan, Zhejiang) The photos here are earned by "waking up early." Liujingtan at the easternmost tip of Sijiao Island has a cliff boardwalk and a white lighthouse. It's the best place on the island to watch the sunrise, and the scenic area opens at 4:00 AM. The joint ticket for Liuhe Chaoyang is CNY 90 (including Liujingtan and Heshangtao), and CNY 45 for seniors and children. The Left Bank Highway is 2.8 km long and has been rated as one of the most beautiful self-driving roads in Zhejiang. You can park at any turn along the road, and the sea will be right in the middle of your frame. This road, Donghai Fishing Village, and Bianjiao Village are all free. Jihu Beach is about 2,200 meters long; daytime tickets are CNY 60, and night tickets after 7:00 PM are CNY 20. From Shanghai, take a ferry from Nanpu Bridge to Shenjiawan; the speedboat takes 50 minutes and costs about CNY 144 one way. A reminder: in July and August, ferry tickets sell out as soon as they are released, and the island is very crowded. There are far fewer people in October, but ferry schedules are only decided on the day of, and they may be temporarily suspended on windy days. Eat fisherman's seafood noodles, mussels, and hairtail. Notes for those bringing a camera 1. Don't crowd the same spot for shooting people and scenery; use the morning and evening times separately. 2. Cable cars, ropeways, and cruise ships all close early; ask about the last departure time first. 3. Island ferry tickets are released seven days in advance; keep an eye on the weather during the windy season. 4. Ancient town alleys are narrow; don't drive into them. Parking at the village entrance and walking is faster. 5. Booking online is often a few to over ten yuan cheaper than at the window. 6. It gets chilly in the morning and evening in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region in October; bring a light jacket. Specific ticket prices and opening hours are subject to the scenic area's daily announcements.

Shengsi Islands | A niche, hassle-free travel photography spot with maximum healing vibes — traveler post in Shengsi

Shengsi Islands | A niche, hassle-free travel photography spot with maximum healing vibes

For a short getaway in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region, I’ve finally found the ideal destination: Sijiao Island in Shengsi. No long-distance travel is required; you can reach the island by boat. The whole island has a slow, laid-back pace with no crowds, making it perfect for clearing your mind and relaxing. I discovered a large lawn by the beach where you can get close to the sea without stepping on sand. Lay out a mat, sit back, and feel the sea breeze while listening to the rhythmic waves. Just sitting there quietly, zoning out, and watching the ocean makes all your stress slowly fade away. You must make time to experience the island's mornings and evenings. Wake up early to catch a sunrise over the sea and watch the sun slowly rise from the horizon—it’s quiet and breathtaking. In the evening, don't miss the "orange sea" sunset. The setting sun dyes the entire ocean a warm orange. Strolling along the seaside with the evening breeze carrying a faint scent of the ocean is incredibly therapeutic. There is a "Left Bank Road" on the island where you can ride an e-scooter at a leisurely pace, with rolling green mountains on one side and the boundless sea on the other. You can stop whenever you like along the way to feel the breeze and watch the waves crash against the rocks. The entire route offers open sea views, making you feel free and comfortable. If you have time, you can also take the bus along the coastline with the ocean right outside your window. Riding the local bus and exploring stop by stop is an immersive way to experience the daily life of the islanders—a unique experience exclusive to this island. The island is small and the pace is slow. There’s no need to rush your itinerary; just wander as you please and enjoy the slow island life.

Gouqi Island Real Review | Most Honest Guide Right After Getting Off the Island — traveler post in Shengsi

Gouqi Island Real Review | Most Honest Guide Right After Getting Off the Island

❤️Just got back from Gouqi Island. Putting aside the influencer filter, here are my most authentic, down-to-earth impressions. If you're planning to go, make sure to read this to avoid pitfalls! 1. Bottom line: Is Gouqi Island worth visiting? The scenery is stunning and perfect for a short getaway. The island is very small, and 2 full days are enough to explore it completely. The mountain-and-sea views are breathtaking, and you can easily capture healing ocean shots anywhere. Make sure to go on a sunny day—preferably a bright one. On cloudy or foggy days, the sea looks gray and dull, and you won't experience its beauty at all. 2. Real pros 1. The seawater is truly blue The offshore waters are clear, and on sunny days the sea displays beautiful color layers. Sunrises and seaside walks are full of atmosphere, and the mountain-meets-sea scenery is incredibly photogenic. 2. Fewer crowds than popular island destinations No jostling crowds here—perfect for quietly watching the sea and unwinding. 3. Fresh seafood Locally caught by fishermen, the ingredients are very fresh. Seafood lovers will be satisfied. 3. Biggest downsides (real dealbreakers, all personally tested) ❗Extremely inconvenient transportation on the island (biggest pitfall) This is the most off-putting and frustrating aspect of Gouqi Island! There are no ride-hailing apps or Didi on the island. Transportation is completely monopolized by local taxis—all flat-rate, no meters. The base fare is 30 yuan, and even a short 2–3 km ride costs 30 yuan. Slightly longer distances jump to 60–100 yuan, making short trips extremely expensive. Public buses run infrequently with long intervals, making them very hard to catch. 4. Must-visit attractions (all personally tested and compiled) 1. Dongya Cliff (top influencer spot) Located at the easternmost coastline of mainland China, the cliffside walkway faces the entire East China Sea. The sheer cliffs paired with glass-clear water make it the island's best sunrise spot. The famous internet-famous ladder offers stunning photo opportunities. On sunny days, the sea is crystal clear and blue—the scenery is absolutely worth a dedicated trip. 2. Houtouwan Abandoned Village (Green Wonderland) Gouqi Island's signature attraction. This abandoned fishing village on the hillside is completely overgrown with greenery, surrounded by blue-green seawater. It feels like a fairytale and offers unique, niche photo opportunities. (No bus goes directly to the village!) 3. Shanhai Qiguan (Mountain-Sea Wonder) A free observation deck at the island's highest point. Climb up for a panoramic view of the sea farming area, where the water surface is covered with white mussel buoys. At sunset, the orange-hued sea creates an incredible atmosphere. It only takes a 10-minute walk to reach the top, and it's free. 4. Dawang Beach The largest beach on the island with relatively complete facilities. If you want to avoid crowds, head to the nearby free Longquan Beach, where the rocky shore is great for beachcombing. 5. Sanjiaojiang Bridge (Shengshan Bridge) A cross-sea bridge connecting Gouqi Island and Shengshan Island. It's a free photo stop along the island ring road. On one side of the road are villages, on the other the blue sea—every shot along the drive is healing. 6. Ganxie Observation Deck (Sea Farming Area) A free, less-crowded viewpoint dedicated to viewing the offshore aquaculture farms. When the sunset glow spreads across the sea, the entire area feels gentle and soothing. It's quiet and peaceful, without the crowds of popular attractions. 7. Longquan Beach A pristine, free beach with very few visitors and plenty of rocks. At low tide, you can go beachcombing for small seafood. It's a great place to quietly watch the sea and daydream.

Heal amidst the mountains and waters, observe the cultural heritage and local life, and rediscover the true essence of living through a short getaway. ▫️ Quzhou, Jiangshan A land favored by clouds and mist. The Danxia peaks of Mount Jianglang pierce the sky, while the thousand-year-old villages at the foot of the mountain still retain a tranquility forgotten by time. ▫️ Taizhou, Linhai The lingering charm of the Song Dynasty still remains in the Taizhou Prefecture City. There is no over-commercialization here; the crispy aroma of seaweed cakes and the soft, chewy texture of "danqing yangwei" represent the "delightfully chewy" local life—a backdrop of unhurried living. ▫️ Ningbo, Fenghua The history of the Republic of China is more than just words in textbooks; it holds the elegance of bygone days. With vast grasslands in the wild and the blue tiles and white walls of ancient villages, it hides an authentic Jiangnan narrative. ▫️ Jinhua, Lanxi The morning tea in Youbu Ancient Town is steaming hot, and the savory aroma of "jiziguo" awakens the morning. The labyrinthine alleys of Zhuge Bagua Village hide the slow-paced life that Jiangnan understands best. ▫️ Zhoushan, Shengsi An isolated island by the East China Sea. The gentle waves lap against Jihu Beach, and the "blue tears" shimmer on Huaniao Island.
