We booked two ordinary apartments for this trip. At first, I hesitated between booking two independent apartments or two-bedroom apartments, but because of the price, I chose two independent rooms. It turned out that this was very cost-effective in the off-season. The hotel upgraded the room type for us and arranged the two ordinary apartments in a separate small unit, and one of them was upgraded to a deluxe room. The unit has its own door, and after locking it, it becomes an independent little world. The layout of the two rooms is the same; the difference is the size of the living room. If there are three or more people staying, it is more comfortable to choose a deluxe one-bedroom apartment. The apartment has a master bathroom next to the master bedroom, with a shower and bathtub, and a small bathroom in the living room, only a toilet and a washbasin. There is a sliding door between the living room and the master bedroom, which does not disturb each other after closing. The apartment has an oven with a microwave function. The apartment is equipped with an induction cooker and a dishwasher, and has basic kitchen utensils and tableware, which is very convenient for cooking by yourself. The apartment is very quiet. The deluxe room is not facing the street, so there is no noise at night. The ordinary apartment is facing the street, but the street is small and quiet, and there are basically no vehicles passing by.
The transportation of the apartment is very convenient. Guests can contact the hotel by email before check-in to apply for the Geneva transportation card. With this card, you can take any public transportation in downtown Geneva for free. It takes one train stop and one bus stop from the airport. The apartment is only a few steps away from the bus station and very close to Lake Geneva.
There are also many restaurants nearby.
The hotel's own parking spaces are very tight, and there are no vacancies on the roadside. We parked in an underground parking space that comes with the hotel. It is very small and difficult to park. If the rental car is too large, it is not recommended to park in the hotel's own underground parking space, because it is not free and inconvenient to enter and exit. According to the hotel staff, it is a 5-minute walk from them. There are many public parking spaces in the fairmont parking lot, which may be easier to park.
If I come to Geneva again next time and stay for more than two nights, I will choose this hotel apartment and live very comfortably.
