Very convinient location connected to KSL City Mall. Room is spacious. I was assigned to the 19th floor in tower 2, but the wifi reception there was bad. No signal unless standing at the door or the closet. I had to do some work and had to go to a cafe since there wasn’t connection in my room. Told the staff about the wifi issue and she said she’ll let their IT person know… don’t think they would have immediate solution. Service staff are nice and friendly. It takes a long time to wait for the elevators since it serves so many levels. Not too much light in the room and the lights were yellow. Overall stay was decent since it served the purpose for shower, storage and sleep but I wouldn’t say it is 100% value for money that you pay. Would still book this placeif my parents are coming on the trip since it is easy to access the mall!

Love the people at the front desk, they are always so happy and friendly. Check-in took a bit longer than usual but the staff were very apologetic. I stayed in the Urban room at level 12 facing the highway and river. To my surprise it was rather quiet I can’t really hear the traffic. Morning breakfast at level 6 was pretty crowded. The next morning I just went down earlier and it was great. The girls at breakfast were always happy to welcome us… keep it up 👍

I really love this hotel. The room view they arranged for me is excellent, overlooking Singapore. Plus, the gym is very clean with brand new equipment, which makes my morning workouts very satisfying. Most importantly, there's a car elevator parking lot, which is perfect for business travelers and drivers. I recommend this hotel.

Requested for room to be a nice one since its my daughter’s birthday staycay. she was so happy there were hearts and swan towels on the bed! What a lovely surprise! Thank u to the management & staff!! Really appreciate it.

Dear Crystal Crown Management Team, First of all, I would like to thank you for the hospitality during this period. To begin with, I have a brother who is currently serving quarantine at Hotel Ramada, so I know exactly what are the two hotels offering and its differences. Nevertheless, my stay with Crystal Crown has been a decent one which I am grateful for. I will also be honest with you that there are quite number of areas which need to be improved, not only for the wellbeing of the next batch of guests, but also for the benefit of your staff members. Hence, I would like to provide some constructive suggestions. 1) Communications a) Clarity on the rules of food / items delivery. The RELA briefed us on the arrival day, but it was unclear as we were seated outdoor. A suggestion is to include pictures in your document. See the attached photo for illustration. Besides pasting the rules at the entrance, you could also print it out in black and white for every room, together with the welcome letter. I believe that once the rules are spelled out clearly, the guests will manage their expectations accordingly. b) Distribute the 14 days necessities (e.g. mineral waters, trash bag, toiletries) at one shot. This is also a good practice of Hotel Ramada. Not only the guests can ration the items based on their needs, it also saves your hotel staff the trouble of attending to the needs of the guests at all time. c) Discontinue the whatsapp group. I understand the intention of setting up the group is for emergency purpose. But we all clearly know that this is not the case. Unfortunately, the chat group becomes a platform of all sorts of stuff: from requesting the daily necessities, clarifying the same delivery rules, asking the staff to pick up and send food / items, to spamming the group of 198 people with complaints and feud, or even turning the group into personal chat room. I believe once point a) & b) are sorted out, there is less need to use the whatsapp group as the main channel of communication. We can always use the phone in our room to call the front desk for additional requests or attend to emergency matters. Respecting the guests’ privacy is very much appreciated. 2) Dietary Preferences a) Make the effort to collect guests’ dietary needs and be committed to attend to it. This is a basic etiquette and fundamentals of the hospitality industries. Peanut and seafood allergies can be severe and deadly. The health of people with medical conditions (e.g. diabetes) could be affected. Not to mention the vulnerable such as the elderly, young children and pregnant women. We are human after all, hence the importance of mutual respect – treat the guests the way you want to be treated. b) Look after the well-being of the vegetarians. I would like to speak up for the vegetarians, especially those who practise strict vegetarianism. They cannot to take onions, garlic, chives, green onions and leeks, as it cause anger and desi

Pro: A convenient hotel location near Tuas with accessible food and grocery shopping around. Service staff are fast during check in as we reach quite late around 9pm. When we asked for additional pillow and mattress cover for the sofa bed over the counter, it was sent to us promptly. Cons: On a different note, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. We found stain on carpet, food crackers were left behind and not sure if it was the previous guest or even earlier. It was still there when we had our housekeeping the next day. When we request for additional towel over phone, it never come. When we noted that there was no pool towel and requested for top up, we had to wait for more than 30mins. There seems to be lack of staff on weekend at the buffet area and table was clean in a slipshod manner. Maybe it was peak hours around 930am.

Always stayed at this hotel every time I visit JB. Location can't be beat. Rooms are also comfortable and clean. One of the three lifts serving guest floors didn't work during our entire two night stay and there's long wait every time we want to go down. Hotel also asked for an additional 50rm per night to arrange connecting rooms which is a first for me so far among all the hotels I've stayed at.

The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options, catering to different tastes. While the facilities were generally well-maintained, the gym could use some upgrades. Conveniently located near the Malaysia-Singapore Causeway and Duty-Free Zone, Berjaya Waterfront Hotel offers spacious rooms and decent amenities at an affordable price.A good choice for budget travelers or short stays. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I was having a course there, so had to book the hotel for 2 nights. Here are some of my thoughts regarding my stay: Pros: 1. The staff at the counter were excellent. I reached earlier then check in time, so she offered to keep my luggage. 2. Managed to check in earlier. 3. Room was somewhat comfortable and spacious. 4. Location is good, near to eatery places and malls. 5. Food was acceptable. A good spread of heavy and light food. 6. Higher level rooms offer spectacular views of JB and the large windows accentuate that. Cons: 1. The hotel itself is pretty old and worn out. Need some or total refurbishment to compete with other hotels in the area. 2. Ironing equipment and area needs to be improved. 3. Amenities in the room are old. Didn’t have water kettle although coffee and tea sachets were provided. 4. The cafe afternoon tea service was too slow. Had to wait almost an hour to get my goreng pisang package and the taste was horrible. Didn’t get to use swimming pool and other amenities so I would have to reserve my comment. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and the price was affordable.

Nice hotel. Pocket friendly . The stall is Friendly too Room is clean and the bed is very comfy . Location near to mall n jb custom. Tried the loklok nearby... Yummy but a bit pricey 😜 This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel . Be back soon again

It was in fact the worse hotel I've ever stayed in Malaysia. Don't be fooled by the pictures they provided. I booked a deluxe family room and a deluxe queen room. Nothing to fancy about. As soon as we stepped into the ”deluxe family room”, the whole room including the toilet smells of moth balls!! Can you imagine going to sleep with that smell plus with 2 children (1 and 8 years old)?! It's DAMN stuffy!! First moth balls found below the sink cabinet probably to freshen up the smell of the flooring and another hung above on the ceiling probably to stop the strong urine/sewer smell. When we step on the parquet flooring of our room it was so sticky and the toilet floor was even worse! There were visible yellow patches on the floor that probably resembles as urine patches. TOILET FLOOR WAS WET AND GROSS THAT MY SISTER HAD TO CLEAN THE ENTIRE TOILET BEFORE USING IT. NOT FORGETTING THAT MY SISTER ALSO HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO CLEAN THE ROOM'S FLOORING TWICE CAUSE IT WAS TOO STICKY AND WHEN WE WALK BAREFOOTED ON IT! Below the cabinet's sink was already deteriorating and there were molds everywhere! Also not forgetting that our room doesn't comes with a window and yet its expensive!! If you're looking for a hotel for your family even for a night stay, this is not the best one for your family. I can say that with location, this is probably a hotel for **********s only. As you can't imagine until you've booked and slept in the room, our bedsheets aren't clean. There's blood stains on it and also blood stains on the bed side's wall. YES, GROSS! MY LITTLE GIRL EVEN ASKED WHAT'S THAT. We were obviously so disgusted that we didn't tuck our feet into the sheets. Shame on you guys for not doing a good job on proper housekeeping and maintaining the facilities in the rooms.

No frills budget hotel, very affordable but has the basic necessities to get over a good night stay and sleep. Aircon , water heater functions well and wifi is pretty stable, which is a great plus for the hotel Surrounded with lots of good fnb establishments within walking distance and some of the foodstalls open till 2+am to fix your supper cravings. A few Massage parlors nearby and you can get to popular shopping mall like ksl within 10min drive ... Recommend for short stays...will be back

This hotel has 70+rooms. More than half of it are without window. The twin beds room seem alright. Its small but you get hair dryer, iron & board, kettle, 2 minerals water bottles. Working aircon and hot water. Able to watch free to air TV channels from Malaysia and Singapore. Free simple breakfast include coffee, tea, powder orange juice, milk, cereal, white bread w toaster, jam and butter, water melon, orange, cherry tomato, lettuce, baked bean, hot dog, garlic bread, fries, spring roll, mini pau, mushrooms soup, porridge, fried rice, noodle. Not enough, walk out to the coffeeshop behind the hotel, open by 7am. Indeed, its time to change their set of towels and bed sheets etc, WORN out. Need improvement on this area. Those pictures displayed on booking websites seem like computer generated imagery. Outdoor parking charges seem to be covered by the mgmt. This hotel very suitable for running errands between banks as there are MORE than 10 foreign and local finance houses along Molek Utama. Overall, happy to stay here again as the daily rate is attractive for what it offer currently.

First of all, SPECIAL SHOUT OUT for the housekeeping lady who did the cleaning up for our room🏆🏆 We had already checked out and were waiting in the lobby for the Grab driver when the housekeeping lady rushed down and returned my daughter's earbuds!! Thank you for going the extra mile! Other things we loved about Kyoto Boutique: - nice classy decor and the wooden floor (I hate carpeted floors in hotel rooms cos it's hard to tell if it's clean) - the hot water heater for the shower works perfectly! - there is a water cooler at the floor lobby so we could get cold and hot water!! - there is a safe in the room - many coffeeshops and restaurants nearby. Also has a supermarket just downstairs. - excellent service But overall the hotel should probably do some renovations or fix some of the items in the room. - Some parts of the wallpaper were peeling off. - The tap was loose and had to be shut off in a particular direction or the water would keep flowing. - the switch to the toilet did not have a cover so we couldn't switch off the lights - the temperature of one of the aircons couldn't be adjusted so it blasted very cold air all night. Thankfully, the family suite had 2 aircons (cos the room was divided into 2 areas, each w a queen bed). So we turned on only one aircon.

I travel for business, because I have training at JPFSA, so this is the most decent hotel in the area. This is a small town not far from Johor Bahru, the capital state. Easy to get Grab Service and a lot of eating place. There a bar and restaurant next to the hotel, Japanese Restaurant Opposite & Bakery opposite the hotel. Room is spacious, bright lighting and decent decoration, there no wardrobe. It's ok for 1 or 2 nights. Quite safe for woman traveller. Breakfast can be better. They only serve coffee/tea with sandwiches and noodles/fried rice. Please dont set high expectation for breakfast. This area mostly office area for freight forwarders and other small businesses.

Booked a studio king room for its bathtub. Room was clean with basic amenities. Lots of eateries around. However, there is no privacy at all. this studio king room was located at ground floor with its only available window facing the walkway corridor. People who walk past has the tendency to take a peep into it and smokers hanging around outside the window enjoying their moments. Even during check in when i walk pass this room outside the walkway, the window was open, i can see totally the whole room set up and the main room door was wide open. Flies, mosquitoes, cigarette smells as i entered. Couldn't imagine any strangers can literally just walk into the room and lie on the bed or hide in there. It can be quite unsafe.

Not very impressed by some details such as our room not being ready when we've arrived at 3pm. We waited for half an hour at the lobby and no nothing at all, just some colouring pencils for my kids to draw, which they aren't keen on. Also, on my 2nd day, we went back to the room at 4pm only to realise the housekeeping isn't done yet. And we had to leave and the cleaner come at 5pm to get it done. No water being given too, not sure why. Overall not very pleased and also, the room looks quite old and run down. Flooring and mold in the toilet... Like the breakfast selection though, and the location being so near to the beach.

Rooms are spacius and staff are friendly. Breakfast is nice and varity of choice. Seafood is good and fresh but suggest to have multiple tastes and plates. Currently plates for crabs and lobsters are limited.

Went there to play golf with a group of friends. Made group booking, 8 rooms with them. They kinda got lost on the room arrangements with the multiple room bookings even though the rooms were booked with individual names. On the second day, there was a power shut down from 12pm to 6plus, so it was miserable for people staying in the hotel during this period. No lights, no electricity. On top of that, my group commented that the heater was not working, and pillows and bedsheets had a stale smell. One of the rooms wasn't even made when we checked in. 1.5 hours later, when we checked, it still wasn't made until we got really upset (picture attached). On the positive side, the hotel was quite spacious and its located opposite a supermarket and a row of shop houses. Don't expect anything interesting, though. Also Els golf course is around 15 mins drive from the hotel.

We had a great stay at Hard Rock Desaru! Big and spacious room with balcony facing the pool. We had 2 meals at the hotel and both restaurants were yummy. Great service from the team. If you are heading to the adventure water park, it is connected to the hotel! We will come back again!

My 4th experiance stayed in Tunamaya were never dissapointed me. Less and lack here and there are accepted as this time am coming during PH + Weekend (resort FULLY OCCUPIED). All the service provided was excellent, foods was tasty with the sambal, omellet was fine n 1 is not enough 😂 room capacity is Superb n tidy as well. They comes with stunning view from my room with the sea breeze is just enough fr me to repeat here many more time here in future.

Year end means holiday time for my little family. Arrived here quite early in the afternoon. Being promised that once the room is ready, the receptionist on duty will then give us a call, yet do assume that due to other urgent commitment and / or poor telecommunication coverage, it was no avail. (Disclaimer : my spouse got SMS informing that Maxis coverage will be temporarily affected at the current location, yet I never get one, although utilizing the very same provider) Just trying our luck to check in an hour early from prescribed time and viola! our room was readied accordingly. Room was adequately kept, small stains detected at the duvet, bidet sprayer malfunctioned. Not to be so fussy, we do embraced the imperfect condition accordingly. The room allocated to us in which purposely selected for sea view was nice. The hotel do situated not too far from other establishment. there is a residential area situated approximately 2km from the hotel, namely Taman Bayu Damai, in which do contained shophouses and basic necessity, if need do arise. Yet we did getting our daily doses of foods and other necessity down towards the south, in which nearer to Sungai Rengit. The foods readied at the hotel (in our case breakfast) were less then adequate in quality, but got nothing to complained about. Due to the time we have, we did embarked on sight seeing walkabout at the premises. Some of the attractions were abandoned, might be due to the ill effect of continuous MCO enforcement for the past 2 years. The beach was nice, but due to the timing of Monsoon, it will be not advisable to dwell into usual sea and beach activities too much. My two boys enjoyed their time playing with the sands, with much cautionary steps undertaken. Hopefully, as per my title of this review, time will heal this establishment, thus will be then enable them to offer their best package to prospectus guest.

The room is spacious. For anybody who doesn’t want to have a dinner or breakfast at the hotel, you can have it at nearby restaurant with a walking distance. Nearby kopitiam serve great breakfast too. So far so good and worth the money. And one more thing, just 10 min drive to go to Desaru Beach

The hotel stay was delightful. The room is spacious with everything working perfectly. Breakfast is delicious with variety to choose from. Facilities within the hotel too was superb. With their creativity, they eventually made an outdoor gym using woods that they recycle and also beach swing which is the plus point. Credits to the hotel technician team for their hardwork to build it.

Everytime i go to pengerang, this hotel will be my choice to stay. The room is quite interesting becoz it was originally 2 storey of cabin/container. The room is big, clean, and for me it was beautiful. There was a swimming pool for adult & kids. The only thing that i a bit dislike is the room did not provide iron & board and also dont have hair dryer. At beginning of stay here i usually ask for the iron. But they took so long to sent it. So a bit dissapointed with the service.

Most ever worst room I stayed. This is the second time we booked Lotus resort. Previously, we stayed Lotus beach reasort at Desaru. We are impressed with loft units and amenities. So this time round, we decided to stay another Lotus Resort at Pengerang. We have booked 2 rooms standard King for 2 days which claim as near to beach. One is for us at 106. Another's room will be 108 for my parents in law. We found big red ants over room 106 on the desk, floor, and toilet. Make complaint to indian receptionist twice. One technician came to inspect, spray anti-ant, and believed what we had complained. The Indian receptionist only allowed us to change room to 152, which is super far from my in-laws room 108. Claims that only room is available for standard King. My in-laws room 108 is worse than us. They found a brunch of earth worms in the toilet bowl after flushed. Complaint to receptionist about issues. The same thing the technician came to solve was the problem. We are DISAPPOINTED for what we paid. Not value for money to stay there. We prefer Lotus Beach Resort Bandar Penawar at Desaru.
