"The hotel is conveniently located near City Square Mall and IB Central, about a 10-minute walk away. It's perfect for those planning a trip to Singapore.
During my stay, there was ongoing construction nearby, which led to road closures and a fair bit of noise. The area around the hotel also had a musty, sewer-like smell. I'd recommend bringing a universal adapter if you plan to stay here. For me, the room was quite small, though it was clean. However, the bathroom had an unpleasant odor. I wouldn't really recommend it for longer stays, but it could work for a one-night stopover."

I had requested a little complimentary surprise for my husband’s belated birthday and our upcoming wedding anniversary, and to our surprise, they prepared two cakes for us! FFina-chanAffordable hotel with a spacious room that's able to accommodate an extra bed (at an additional cost of 151.20 RM). Room rates are inclusive of complimentary breakfast for 2 adults. You can add-on at the counter for kids above 6 years old. Hotel is located directly above Mid Valley mall which is very accessible from the hotel. Front desk was fast with our check-in and room service was helpful in setting up the extra bed for us. Highly recommended for short family stays over the weekends!

RRickyzaimamaThis has to be the worst Four Points by Sheraton I've ever stayed at 😅. The decor is on par with a 200-300 RMB budget hotel in China; only the lobby and corridors look somewhat decent. The soundproofing is abysmal. You can feel the floor vibrating when kids run and jump upstairs... and the constant hum of the air conditioning unit kept me awake all night. The hygiene was terrible; there were crumbs on the floor, and I even found a balloon left by a previous guest when I lay on the bed... The trash can in the bathroom was also very dirty... My first task after checking in was to clean the room with sanitary wipes. The only redeeming quality is its proximity to a supermarket, which was convenient for buying things.

BBeautysilverThe room was spotless and everything felt brand new, which made for a very comfortable stay. It was also spacious and bright. The hotel's location is super convenient, and the restaurant upstairs is definitely worth checking out – they have great food, drinks, and entertainment. Shopping is also a breeze with the mall right next door, offering plenty of dining and retail options. The surrounding area is lovely. I'll definitely choose to stay here again!

AAnonymous UserResort has a private beach and excellent view from the room balcony. Beautiful sun rise with beach and sea view. Enjoyed the swings, sand, sea breeze and listening to the waves! Kids love the sand.
There are various sea activities and horse riding available. Separate charges.
Swimming pool has a 0.6m section for kids to have some water play.
Indoor mini playground for the little ones.
They had great fun.
Free parking if you drive.
Breakfast spread is good enough. Nasi lemak is a must-try. The pastries can be heated up which made them great! Eggs selection excellent! Juicy watermelons! You can enjoy sun rise while having breakfast.
The resort has a chalet feel. They should look into their aircon as it doesn’t seems to cool well. The facilities are aged. Wash basin water drain a little slow.
Overall, we love this place for the view! Hope the next time we return, the facilities would have improved.

- Retail shop for almost everything you need for travel and swimming
- Birds like chicken, duck, goose, peacock are in the location for kids to view as well
- One dry playground
- One vending machine with almost all kinds of medicine you need
Just issue with cleanliness for me, first night, I had lizard issue, can hear the sound of it. Housekeeping damn fast when I report the next day, they came to check but cannot locate it.
Second is ants, but it disappeared after like 15mins. But I reported it after I check out since when I saw it, it was in the night already.

AAnonymous UserVery disappointed with my stay at Holiday Villa JB. This is my 3rd stay here after trying the first 2 times a few years back and not liking it. So I stayed 3 days here, and while my 1st day here was fine, my 2nd and 3rd days here reminded me why I never returned to this hotel earlier.
1) Unethical and lack of tranpsarency with hotel guests. I booked a Deluxe Room and paid a higher price compared to Superior to get a higher floor (since that was the main difference), but I was given a Superior room without my knowledge. I only realized this after checking out and scrolling through reviews to see others experiencing the same). The hotel did not let me know I was being downgraded, and did not return me the difference of money between the 2 room types. This is unethical.
2) Lack of soundproofing. The soundproof of the room windows are terrible, how thin must the glass be to be able to hear honking and revving of vehicles from the 15th floor (even on my previous stay I was on the 23rd floor and could still hear this), like I am on the road myself.
3) Fire alarm drills. The hotel had fire alarm drills going on and there was no notice, no anmouncements on dates/duration in the rooms or told to us, so hotel guests had no info on how long this would go on for. The drill announcements were repeated at least 10 times at loud volumes through speakers INSIDE of the rooms.The moment the announcements started, there is no way for you to block it out because of how loud it was and how long it lasted. The drill goes on for 8-10 mins before ending just to repeat 3 hours later. This is insanely inconsiderate, because they should have informed guests about this before checking in, so we could plan our day around this. The only silence we got was when we left the hotel.
The rooms are fine but it is basic with basic amenities and interior, good size. Their cleanliness is not the best since I saw and caught a few bugs myself. Their showers only had 1 overhead shower, no handheld one, the water pressure is slow. Their service seemed good when checking in, but during our stay it felt like they couldn't be bothered other than anything housekeeping related. To be honest I could ignore ALL these issues if the price was low, but it wasn't. RM305 per night on a weekday is pretty insane to be dealing with all of the issues we encountered during our stay. I even asked for a refund for my 2nd night and they directed me to their manager who gave a long explanation on why they can't. Incredibly disappointing, but at least they gave us a reason to remember more clearly why we should never return.
