Hotels With breakfast in Salzburg State, Austria

The location is excellent. It's within walking distance, but also easily accessible by public transport during extreme temperatures. The hotel offers spacious rooms and a comprehensive breakfast.

First night, only cold water for showering, had to go to the 1st floor to shower. Every day, there were several suitcases belonging to other guests in our hallway to the room, making it feel like we had booked a room in a storage closet. Not all costs were fully displayed on the website; upon arrival, an additional €22 city tax and €35 for parking were added, which is incredibly expensive.

The room is a bit packed as the bed is super big. Having said that, the room is nicely designed and decorated. Free mini-bar with daily refill is rarely found in hotels in Europe. The buffet breakfast is absolutely the highlight. The omelette is crispy outside and molten inside, preserving the freshness and original flavours of all ingredients. Must try! All hotel staffs are polite and helpful. In terms of location, whether or not it is convenience, it depends. It is in the middle of Salzburg central station and the old town, going to either location is about 12 minutes walk. Salzburg down town is not big anyway. Everything is in walking distance.

The hotel's location is extremely convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and there is also a supermarket at the train station, making it super convenient. The room was clean and tidy. However, the bathroom doesn't have a door—it's only separated from the bed by a glass panel. Because of this layout, the room is better suited for couples or families.

The location wasnt the best. I remember walking 10 minutes to the nearest bus station and about 5-10 minutes taxi ride to the main train station. When i first arrived, a Staff suddenly complained to us about how people kept calling her when the aircon doesn’t work and asked us to try fixing it ourselves before calling her. I get the frustration but it definitely wasnt our job to listen to her whining about her job. Also i would appreciate if staff can bring up actively that we can get a free salzburg travel pass.

Pleasant little stay about a 10 minute walk from the main station. Rooms were a good size, clean and beds very comfortable. I was also given a free bus pass to use around the city for the period of my stay. Amenities in the room lean towards the basic side, but adequate. Note the check in time was quite late, at 4pm, and check out at 11am, which isn't great for travellers.

I emailed the hotel in advance to ask if they could help me apply for the Salzburg Guest Mobility Ticket, and they replied very promptly. This meant I could take the tram from the train station directly to the hotel, which was not only convenient but also saved me a lot of effort, even though it probably wasn't a long walk anyway. Tram lines 2, 12, and 21 are nearby, making it super easy to get around by tram. The station had a timetable, and the trams were always on time. The room didn't have a coffee maker, but there was a mini kettle. The bed was made of two twin mattresses pushed together, so even if you're alone, you can only really sleep on one side due to the gap in the middle. The duvets were also twin-sized, just over a meter wide, so someone larger might find them a bit small.

The location was fantastic! It's just a 15-minute bus ride from the city center, and public transport is super convenient. Right next to the hotel, there's a restaurant, a supermarket, and even a gym. The hotel room itself was very clean and tidy, and the staff were incredibly friendly. There seems to be a police station downstairs, with officers frequently changing shifts, which made me feel very safe.

The place is a stone throw away from the central station and very accessible. Also have free transportation for the number of days u stay with them - ask the staff. There are free apples and sparkling water you can retrieve from the lobby. It was a really comfortable stay. It was quiet and peaceful. They had a very secure luggage storage that was great. Loved the wall design that allowed me to hang my clothes and dry them as well.
