The entire check-in experience was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and patient. It happened to be Christmas Eve, and they promptly offered blessings and apples when I checked in, which was a lovely surprise. The airport shuttle driver was also very friendly and punctual. The hotel is only about a 10-minute drive from the airport, so I didn't miss breakfast even with an early flight, though I did glimpse the spread and it looked quite abundant. The room was very clean and tidy. If I pass through Fuzhou again, I'll definitely stay here. Of course, their group has many hotel options, and I would prioritize choosing them in other cities too.

I rarely write reviews, but booking this hotel was the best decision I made this trip. I've already recommended it to my friends. The location is great, close to several temples, and there are plenty of food options right outside. The front desk staff was lovely and even upgraded my room. For the price, it's excellent value for money – much better than hotels I've stayed at in Xiamen for a similar price. The room facilities are very new, and I was very satisfied. On my last day, they even held my luggage after check-out, so I could enjoy another half-day of sightseeing before heading to the airport. If I ever come back to Quanzhou, I'll definitely stay here again!

I really liked my stay there. I do think it may be harder for foreigners to stay here compared to possibly other options as most workers do not speak English. I found it quite hard to communicate. However, I do recommend it and I personally would stay again. Especially as we overcame the challenges of communication and I was easily able to work with the staff. The bathroom and bed are amazing and I would love to use them again. The airport is only 10 yen away by taxi which is amazing and I honestly would come again.  I added two photos. This hotel feels like a natural oxygen bar! It's right next to a lake, and there are so many different types of trees on the property, making the air super fresh. Every morning, I woke up to the sound of birds singing. It's perfect for those driving, as there's ample parking both above ground and in a large underground garage. Within a few minutes' drive, you can find shops and restaurants, and major shopping areas like Nanmendou are just a 10-minute drive away. The staff here are incredibly welcoming. The security guards not only help with parking but also proactively offer to assist with luggage and guide you to the lobby, which was fantastic! Check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff even provided information about the swimming pool and gym without me asking. The hotel has a lovely Chinese courtyard style that's very comfortable. My room was clean and tidy, with a balcony and a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Each building has security personnel, which is a big plus. If you order takeout, it gets delivered to the first floor, and the security staff arrange for a little robot to bring it to your room – super cool! The breakfast offered a rich variety, including local rice noodles and vermicelli.

Front desk was very inefficient and quite disappointing, but the Floor Manager and the very helpful bellboy made up for it. Seems like front desk was totally untrained and took almost up to 1 hr just to process the check in itself and the group of us booked five rooms and only three rooms were ready by 3pm and the other rooms were only ready near 5pm, which is another 1.5-2 hours. We understand that China government required every occupants passport and visa entry to be photocopied but it is quite absurd to take such a long time for check in processing. Moreeover , we extended another night and communicated twice with front desk and have placed extra deposit requested ,and was requested to come to front desk the next day to swipe the card again. However , when some of us came down to front desk to swipe the room cards on next day , they were asked to place additional deposit again which resulting for total of RMB5000 for first night , additional RMB4500 for second night plus additional RMB2000 asked by reception again for rooms deposit , which was quite ridiculous. The rooms was also quite old and the only things drawing us to book the hotel was only it's central location which makes it convenient to travel to almost all the attractions on Line 1 via metro , and very short taxi distance to everywhere. There is also no kids club or any kids area , and the pool was closed during our stay. Kids amenities were provided in the room. Quite disappointing in terms of overall experience.

Visiting Fuzhou to see a friend, they recommended the Lakeside Hotel by Fuzhou's West Lake. I'd stayed here once before, but my memory was a bit hazy. This time, checking in, I had a strange sense of familiarity... What I love most is the peaceful environment despite being in the heart of the city. The hotel provides ample parking, which is incredibly convenient for me as a self-driver. I also adore the beautiful West Lake views that greet you as soon as you open the curtains, and even more so, the relaxation of soaking in the large bathtub and the leisurely strolls along the lakeside path.

The hotel is very close to CATL, which is very convenient for business trips. There are many types of breakfast, which suits your taste. There is also a small gym on the fourth floor, which is very convenient for working out after get off work in the evening.

We were extremely happy with the room. The view, showcasing Qiaoxi Park's ancient bridge, a serene stream, and a wide stretch of vibrant green landscape, was absolutely wonderful! The room itself was very spacious and came fully equipped, with all amenities being in excellent condition.

We booked a family suite which was very spacious and the bedding was super comfortable. The service was excellent. It's an older, established hotel, so it's not the newest, but the service truly made our stay comfortable. The breakfast was bountiful; I was in a rush and didn't have time to finish my noodles, and the staff even kindly brought them to our room, which was a lovely gesture. The hotel also decorated our room for our wedding anniversary and gave us a cake—thank you, five stars! And the service at the Fudi Restaurant was also great, and the food was delicious. All in all, this stay was very pleasant. Thanks to InterContinental for their service.

Hotel may be a bit dated, but location was superb and excellent! Right in the midst of Zhongshan Road, surrounded by eateries and shopping. Staff was efficient, and the best surprise was that they allowed us a late checkout at 2pm because our flight was at 5.30pm. Truly appreciative of this gesture. Breakast is simple. But there are lots of affordable and nice food in the vicinity, so not an issue.
