Superb service, nice hotel room even the one without window, absolutely reasonable price, delicious authentic local Fuzhou delicacies. I was so impressed. The receptionist on duty on Dec 8 evening (I don’t know her name, please find it out) and Dec 9 morning (月月) were very helpful and friendly. Thank you very much for the nice experience.

Came to Xiamen for a concert and booked a hotel near the airport. They let me check in early at 9 AM! The front desk staff even upgraded my room for free when they saw I was alone. The room was great and very clean! Ugh, but I had to go downstairs to pick up my takeout.

This hotel feels like a natural oxygen bar! It's right next to a lake, and there are so many different types of trees on the property, making the air super fresh. Every morning, I woke up to the sound of birds singing. It's perfect for those driving, as there's ample parking both above ground and in a large underground garage. Within a few minutes' drive, you can find shops and restaurants, and major shopping areas like Nanmendou are just a 10-minute drive away. The staff here are incredibly welcoming. The security guards not only help with parking but also proactively offer to assist with luggage and guide you to the lobby, which was fantastic! Check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff even provided information about the swimming pool and gym without me asking. The hotel has a lovely Chinese courtyard style that's very comfortable. My room was clean and tidy, with a balcony and a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Each building has security personnel, which is a big plus. If you order takeout, it gets delivered to the first floor, and the security staff arrange for a little robot to bring it to your room – super cool! The breakfast offered a rich variety, including local rice noodles and vermicelli.

I specifically booked a room at the Wuyi Square for the marathon. Annie at the hotel helped us arrange a room facing Wuyi Square and even prepared a cheering pack for the race. Xiao Xu arranged a late-night soup and fruit. Peri handled the check-in, arranged for extra drinking water, and even specially requested breakfast. The marathon check-in was right at the hotel entrance, which was incredibly convenient (allowing us to sleep at least an extra half hour). I was very satisfied with this stay!

Hotel was new, clean and service was good. The room is good-sized, and considered large for single occupancy. Check-in and out were quite seamless. There are not many restaurants around the hotel, so one may need to travel out to dine, or choose one of those around there. Highly Recommended!

A truly excellent experience! The five-star service was absolutely impeccable. Just a note: swim caps are required at the pool. It would be great if disposable ones could be provided. Upon check-out, they even gave my child an adorable 'Zhuangyuan' (top scholar) themed water cup – it truly lives up to its reputation as the 'Hometown of Zhuangyuan'!

I have to say, this is a really great hotel! The massive floor-to-ceiling windows let you watch the sunrise in the morning and the stars at night, all from the comfort of the sofa. The room itself is super spacious and everything feels very new. The front desk lady provided excellent service, and the breakfast was incredibly rich, featuring Fuzhou local snacks and even a live noodle and rice noodle station. They had both Chinese and Western options, satisfying my picky palate. If I get the chance to visit Fuzhou again, I'll definitely stay here!

Paid for breakfast only once. It was very normal and crowded. The dining area has limited capacity. The room was clean. I took room on 5th floor, and my room faced their 5th floor open area, so at times there would be people outside my window. The front reception are young people, some not friendly to help communicate in English. However, for the price paid, it is what you get. Location was great, right behind Xiamen main pedestrian shopping street. Lots of food options.

GGuest UserThe experience of this homestay is great! The location of the Binfenli B&B is excellent, the surrounding scenery is beautiful, and the travel is convenient. The room design is unique, the layout is warm and elegant, the facilities are all available and the quality is excellent, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and it makes people sleep well all night. The hotel staff is warm and hospitable, the service is thoughtful and intimate, you can feel the warmth of home here, I highly recommend it to everyone, I will choose this homestay next time!
Cchristine****This was my first stay at the Millennium Hotel Xiamen, and I was very impressed. It's a well-established five-star hotel, and both the service and facilities made me feel very comfortable and well-cared for. The location is super convenient, right above Zhenhai Road subway station. You step out of the subway and the lobby entrance is right there, making getting around incredibly easy. Across the street is Zhonghua City, which caters to all your shopping and dining needs. The front desk even upgraded my room for free to one with a sea view, and I received a complimentary souvenir! The hotel truly is thoughtful. It's also very close to the ferry terminal, which saves a lot of time if you're planning to visit Gulangyu Island. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
FFuyunrumengHow could I possibly leave a bad review? For a hotel that consistently helps you with takeout and upgrades your room without question if you're not satisfied with your stay, I wouldn't dare. So, giving them a good review isn't because of anything special; it's simply what I *should* do, the least a polite person can offer.

11360195****The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Gulangyu Island. It's tucked away in a quiet spot but still close to Longtou Road, where all the restaurants are, and attractions like Sunlight Rock and Shuzhuang Garden. We stayed in Building 9, which was very peaceful. It hardly felt like the bustling National Day holiday, but as soon as we stepped out of the hotel, we were met with throngs of people – truly two different worlds! The hotel has a private back exit for guests that leads to a quiet beach with very few people. The kids absolutely loved it, braving the heat and strong sun for over two hours, catching several small crabs.
The hotel used to be a government retreat and is now open to the public. While the facilities and decor are a bit dated, you can tell the original fixtures are still of good quality. The room even came with tea ceremony tools, and the kids had a blast playing tea master – the Dahongpao tea was delicious.
The hotel service is outstanding. They offer exclusive shuttle transfers from the ferry terminal to the hotel when you arrive and depart. If you're heading straight to the ferry after sightseeing, you can arrange a time with the hotel, and they'll deliver your luggage to the terminal, allowing you to enjoy your day worry-free. The staff are also incredibly helpful; knowing the kids wanted to play on the beach, they even brought sand-digging tools. When we encountered a staff member on the road and asked for directions to the beach, he simply walked us all the way there. We genuinely loved this hotel and highly recommend it.
MM315187****The location of Xiamen Ruiyi Hotel is absolutely stunning! You can see a panoramic view of Gulangyu Island right from your window. The morning sun sparkling on the sea and the evening glow painting the sky red make every moment a truly therapeutic scene. A few minutes' walk downstairs takes you to Zhongshan Road for shopping and dining, and the ferry terminal to Gulangyu Island is also super close, making getting around a breeze. The room facilities are very thoughtful; the bedding is soft and comfortable, providing a very relaxing stay. There's plenty of space for two people to sleep without disturbing each other!
GGuest UserI really loved the hotel's design and ambiance. The room was comfortable, spacious, and spotless. It featured a projector, an automatic toilet, and smart room modes; with just a press of a button, the lighting and other settings would adjust automatically. They also offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the train station, which was incredibly convenient. There's a courier station just a 3-minute walk away. The breakfast spread offered a good variety too! Everything tasted delicious – flavorful, not too salty or greasy. I especially recommend the *jiuniang* (sweet fermented rice soup), Sihuanhua, fried eggs, and the freshly made noodles. The staff were all very warm and friendly, always greeting us. Knowing we had traveled a long distance, they even gave us a small gift bag containing some snacks and water to help us re-energize for our journey. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time! (They even upgraded us for free as our originally booked room type wasn't available due to a late check-out. *Please note: The attached photo is of the upgraded room, not our original booking.*)

MM229499****Da Fang Ju Homestay boasts an excellent location, offering a perfect blend of natural scenery and local vibes. It's within walking distance of Sangu Street, where you'll find an array of snacks, bars, and the Impression Dahongpao show, yet the homestay itself is tucked away amidst lush greenery, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Its proximity to the bus stop and scenic area entrance makes getting around incredibly convenient, whether you're exploring the Nine-Bend Stream or visiting the Dahongpao tea plantations.
The attention to detail in service is evident, ensuring both comfort and convenience. Disposable toiletries are well-stocked, the hairdryer is powerful, and hot water is plentiful. Rooms even thoughtfully include toilet seat covers and clean showerheads. Excellent soundproofing and comfortable mattresses guarantee a deep sleep. The communal tea area offers complimentary tea and snacks, making it a perfect spot for photos or casual chats.
The host proactively sends travel guides and route reminders before check-in and responds to requests instantly once you've arrived. They even help with booking tickets and planning itineraries. The owner also shares their homemade tea, provides guidance on sightseeing routes to ensure you don't miss anything. This warmth and thoughtfulness add a special human touch to the journey.
The homestay uses tea as a bridge to experience the local customs of Wuyi, integrating tea culture into the stay. Enjoy a cup of rock tea and savor the rich essence of the mountains. The proprietress's exquisite tea brewing skills offer not just a treat for the taste buds, but also a way to deeply connect with the local culture. The breakfast selection is abundant, and the restaurant's lunch and dinner dishes are delicious, truly making it the top choice for a homestay experience in Wuyishan.
GGuest UserA very unique homestay, the space is used thoroughly and there are many clever ideas in it. The sanitation is very clean, and there are no mosquito bites even if you live on the second floor. The complimentary eye mask is very considerate, and the fruit and breakfast are very good. The small terrace can be used to enjoy the scenery and dry clothes. There are small scenes everywhere in the yard. The service is also good, especially the auntie who makes breakfast, who is warm and friendly. When you go in and out, you can always see her busy, cleaning the house and cleaning the fish pond, which makes you feel like home. The suite with a rooftop is recommended.
GGuest UserArrived at the hotel in the evening, the front desk warmly received us and upgraded the view room. I gave it a thumbs up manually👍The room was comfortable and spacious. There was no hot water on the second night. I called the front desk and the response was very quick. A technician came up to check it soon and said that it would be fine if I ran cold water for a while.
The only thing that can be improved is that the shower room can be equipped with a towel rack or hook for clothes and towels. Otherwise, it is a little inconvenient to open the door to get towels and clothes after taking a shower.
