This hotel is right next to a seaside plaza, which is lovely for an evening stroll. Many locals also hang out there. It's about 1-2 kilometers from central attractions like the Blue Mansion and Mural Street. Walking there can be quite hot, and a taxi costs around 8-15 MYR. The hotel has a pool, gym, and kids' play area. Although it has a more retro, Nanyang-style vibe, it offers all the necessary amenities. The downsides are: first, the Wi-Fi is very unreliable; second, the breakfast isn't great (doesn't match the price); and third, the duvet covers were already yellowed. We, two adults and two children, had no problem staying in this room. Overall, it's still good value for money.

The hotel is a bit old, but the location is very convenient! Overall, the service was excellent, the room was spacious and clean, with a semi seaview that’s nice. Hotel staffs were very friendly. Upon check-in, customer service immediately called to check if the room was in good condition, which was very thoughtful.

Very good location next to SPICE convention centre. Breakfast spread is good and delicious with some local Penang favorites. Twin bed is small, single bed instead of super single size. Amenities can be improved slightly as amenities box in washroom is a bit dated. Would be good if there’s a convenience stall / news stand below or next to hotel. Overall a good stay still.

Went with my mom. Took Cyan Room with breakfast. Location wise, very good. Very near to the photo spot, the George, the Crest Collection, Blue Mansion, Chulia Street, Love Lane, the Kimberley Market. Lots of food options around. The things I find a bit difficult are the room cleaning service timing. Because the first day, the person came even before the breakfast time (7pm - 10:30pm) is finished at 9:30am. Then we went out and came back around 2pm, then came again at 3:30pm, when they said the room cleaning starts after 4pm. So a bit difficult to predict and avoid the timing. Gave 2 water bottles everyday. But since room service only after 4pm, I requested the water bottle first, 2 days at counter got immediately after, but one day, called from the room, didn't come at all until 5pm when we went down to the counter to ask. Room cleanliness could be better. The bedsheets had a bit of stains but I didn't mind. Water pressure is a bit weak. The hair dryer even weaker. Otherwise, good location to stay, in the middle of Georgetown, accessible to every location easily.

Hotel was clean and service was very good. Room was large and comfortable . Swimming pool on eleven floor is a plus on hot days. Good view of the town and the sea from our room. Strategic location in the heart of Georgetown. Close to Komtar, First Avenue Mall and Pragin Mall. Short walk to Cecil Market and Chowrasta Market with many eateries nearby selling Penang local delicacies.

This hotel is located just outside the center of Georgetown, making it very convenient for getting around. There's a shopping mall and supermarket right next door, which is great for dining and shopping. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the service was very well-organized. Our room faced the sea, offering a really nice view. The hotel itself is a bit older, but the facilities are well-maintained, and the room was relatively quiet. We happened to be there during the major Indian festival, Thaipusam, and Magazine Road in front of the hotel was incredibly congested. I'm not sure if it's always like that, but if you're in a hurry, you'll need to call for a taxi at least 15 minutes in advance.

Overall quite nice, even guard is nice and helpful people as well. Arrive earlier, hotel did provide place to kirim my luggage, and the location is superb! Can go anywhere popular in georgetown by walking, nice street food and alot of good cafe too. Hotel room abit tiny, but overall is good, for me, solo trip is good enough. Just abit noisy at the morning like other people walk around and cleaner doing their cleaning stuff. Overall clean, and comfortable. Will consider to book again next time. 😊

Overall building looks tired worn aged Cons Most annoying when hotel room has NO convenient power point next to bed, so unable to charge phone whilst in bed chatting, surfing the net, finally found a power point down on skirting board by side wall where bed is tucked right up to it but not working, and has an extension from it to another power point with broken trailing cables! Wardrobe doors creaks loudly, Gym opens 8am which makes it difficult to have a workout before showering and ready for days activities. My second pet hate is when room wardrobes have only 2 hangers? Surely any sane clean person has more then two attire for a stay?? Two coffee sachets for two guests per day! I add on 1 extra bed cost me RM128.00 but only with a pillow & BLANKET SHEET! When I call the front office they told me there is only provided for extra bed. Can you believe it? A blanket sheet just like a bed sheet. Finally I run down to counter and show them the sheet (as attached in the picture. It's good hotel but with a very bad service, problem solving and feed back.
