✨ **Unbeatable Oceanfront Views – Wake Up to the Sea!** The ocean-view balcony in our room was absolutely stunning! The moment you opened the door, you were greeted by the entire expanse of the azure Dadonghai. The distant mountains, the nearby beach, and the swimming pool were all visible. We spent the day watching the sparkling sea and the evenings chasing orange sunsets. Every photo we took felt like a postcard! The room's decor was also incredibly thoughtful – the hotel folded towels into adorable little elephants and sprinkled rose petals, adding a delightful touch. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was incredibly therapeutic! **Super Family-Friendly – Effortless Fun for Kids, Relaxing for Parents!** The family facilities were fantastic. The dedicated children's art studio was a wonderful surprise – the walls were covered with kids' creative artworks, and there were all sorts of craft materials and plaster painting available. Our child was instantly captivated and happily created for an entire afternoon, finally giving this mom a much-needed break! The hotel's IP mascots also came out to interact and take photos with the kids, who were thrilled throughout! The lawn in the complex was also superb, with sculptures of giraffes and flamingos, as well as lounge chairs and sunshades. Taking the kids out on the lawn to enjoy the breeze and sunshine was so relaxing and comfortable. 🏋️ **Comprehensive Amenities – Adults Can Enjoy a Relaxing Getaway Too!** No need to worry about getting bored at the hotel! The gym had a full range of equipment and was clean and bright, so you could keep up with your fitness routine even on vacation. The view from the buffet restaurant's scenic terrace was incredible – we enjoyed the sea breeze while overlooking the city and the ocean. In the evening, it was perfect for a stroll and a drink, romantic and pleasant. 👩💼 **Impeccable Service – A Truly Elevated Experience!** From check-in to check-out, we received thoughtful care every step of the way. The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming during check-in, and housekeeping was prompt and thorough daily. They even decorated the room differently for holidays, showcasing their attention to detail. The hotel's dining options were also diverse, with everything from seafood buffets to specialty restaurants, catering to different tastes. You don't even have to leave the hotel to enjoy authentic local cuisine. This hotel is perfect for both couples and families with children. You can relax by the sea and keep the kids entertained effortlessly. The amenities, service, and views are all top-notch. It's definitely on my must-stay list for Sanya! I sincerely recommend it to anyone visiting Sanya – you'll fall in love after one stay.

Choosing this hotel for my Sanya trip was such a smart decision! The location is absolutely fantastic, right by the sea, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright, with excellent natural light and views. From my sea-view room, opening the window revealed nothing but the clear blue sea and sky – the sea breeze was wonderfully refreshing. The hotel's environment is elegant and tranquil, surrounded by lush greenery, creating a great atmosphere. The pool was clean and comfortable too. The staff were warm, polite, and provided thoughtful, attentive service, making for an excellent stay. The breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options. Overall, the value for money is superb. It's my top choice for a relaxing getaway, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Sanya. Highly recommend!

Environment: It's right near the Space City, so you can watch rocket launches, and the surrounding beaches are fantastic. Service: Lisa provided excellent, attentive service. Our stay at the Atlantis Sanya was nothing short of extraordinary. From the breathtaking ocean views to the luxurious amenities and world-class hospitality, every moment felt unforgettable. A special thank you to Dyana, our butler, whose professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made our experience truly seamless. Dyana went above and beyond to ensure every need was met, making us feel valued and exceptionally cared for throughout our stay. They showered us with gifts.  We would also like to recognize Helen at the signature restaurant, Ossiano. Her exceptional service, welcoming attitude, and deep knowledge of the menu elevated our dining experience to another level. She made every meal memorable with her kindness and attentiveness. The combination of luxury, outstanding service, and unforgettable dining makes Atlantis Sanya a destination we would highly recommend to anyone seeking a premium resort experience. We look forward to returning again soon.

My stay was initially quite pleasant. The front-line staff were consistently warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout. When a small issue arose with our travel photos, the hotel promptly communicated and resolved it, which I appreciated. I thought I was going to have a wonderful experience, but it was completely ruined by one utterly unprofessional staff member, plummeting my satisfaction! While riding the shuttle bus, we politely asked the shuttle driver about the hotel's attractions and photo spots. The driver was halfway through explaining when another person nearby suddenly interjected and answered for him! Her attitude was extremely rude, cold, and dismissive. She was sarcastic the entire time, even accusing us of not speaking clearly. We were just asking basic, straightforward questions about attractions, and I truly don't understand how we could have possibly expressed ourselves more 'clearly'. When we politely asked about photo spots, she flat-out said there weren't any, and was incredibly impatient. Yet, later we saw clear signs for photo spots all over the hotel. We got zero useful information, only a belly full of frustration and anger! Afterward, the hotel told us this person was a 'secondary employee' and wasn't on duty, which is why she wasn't wearing an ID badge. I completely reject this flimsy explanation! Why was she wearing a uniform, riding a guest shuttle, and casually interjecting to address guests if she wasn't on duty? It's one thing to be unfamiliar with hotel operations and lack service awareness, but she didn't even have basic human decency. She seemed to be working with a chip on her shoulder, acting condescendingly, as if we, the guests, were accommodating her bad mood! In stark contrast, all the other shuttle drivers were kind, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic, creating an incredibly jarring difference! The hotel's reputation, carefully built by its front-line staff, was completely destroyed by this 'secondary employee' who showed no rules, no professionalism, and no respect. The hotel merely offered a casual explanation of her identity without any indication of intending to improve. Such tolerance for employee misconduct is truly disheartening. I will never recommend this hotel, nor will I ever stay here again!

I was thoroughly impressed by the service at this hotel! From helping with luggage to check-in, everyone greeted us with a smile. I was traveling with my child, and the front desk immediately provided a toiletries kit, which my child loved. Our butler, Nita, was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and even assisting with booking a travel photoshoot. In the evening, she prepared a bedtime dessert for my child – the papaya and white fungus soup was delicious! Before we checked out, Nita also arranged a late check-out for us, telling us not to rush, which was incredibly thoughtful. I definitely have to commend the hotel's service! 👍🏻

I originally chose this hotel because it was 'about to become a Fairmont,' and even though the sign outside no longer says that, my overall experience far exceeded my expectations. The hardware was particularly surprising: the hotel extensively uses carpeting, both in the rooms and public areas. Knowing that maintaining carpets in a high-humidity, high-salinity coastal area is extremely difficult (most seaside hotels opt for wood or tile floors – I still remember the indescribable smell at The Royal Begonia, a Luxury Collection Resort, Sanya), the carpet condition in my room this stay was excellent. It's clear they put a lot of effort into maintenance, especially for a hotel that's already nearly 20 years old (or even older?). Check-in was seamless (I didn't catch the name of the kind lady who helped me). There was also a follow-up call to the room after I settled in, which very few hotels do. While the hotel's pool isn't huge, it's very well-designed, encircling the garden with both deep and shallow areas. Seating is well-spaced out (unlike the packed rows at Sheraton, for instance), offering a genuine resort feel where guests can relax without disturbing each other. Swimming and sunbathing there were very pleasant. From the pool, you can walk out to the seaside boardwalk, which leads all the way down to Wuyuanhe National Wetland Park. It's perfect for an evening stroll or a morning workout. Coming back from a run along the beach in the morning and then soaking in the hot spring really brings on that holiday vibe. Even though it hasn't become a Fairmont yet, the hospitality lives up to the 'Royal Service' mentioned on the phone. Thank you for the hospitality, and special thanks to Megan for her thoughtful touch. For someone who loves carpets and a resort atmosphere, this is a place in Haikou worth relaxing at, and I'd definitely want to come back again.

Service: First, let's talk about the service. As soon as we got out of the car, staff members were there to help open the door and handle our luggage. Entering the lobby, the entire space was dazzling, grand, and magnificent. Checking in at the front desk felt incredibly welcoming, with warm service and highly efficient problem-solving. The professionalism from the staff was evident, a testament to their excellent training. Hygiene: The hygiene was also very good, and the cleaning staff were very friendly. Environment: It's located near the Baihua Valley Commercial Street, which makes it super convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. Facilities: There's a huge swimming pool and a large indoor kids' club.

Seriously, I regret not staying a few more nights! This hotel is absolutely amazing! It truly gives off major vacation vibes, and all my friends agreed! We absolutely loved our butler, Mia, haha! We communicated beforehand that we'd be bringing children, and she proactively followed up on our room status and arranged for check-in, even helping us combine twin beds into a larger one. She was incredibly prompt with any requests we had! I messaged Mia for some ice, and it only took 5 minutes from sending the message to receiving the ice – super fast service! Initially, I was a bit worried because of some online reviews, but our actual stay was really nice! The environment is great, the room was clean, and it was spacious with a wonderful resort feel! The kids loved the beach and the children's playground! Breakfast was delicious too! When it rained heavily, she thoughtfully messaged us to be careful of slippery surfaces and even provided ginger tea! I love it! I love InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay Resort! And I love our butler, Mia! The hotel environment is also incredibly beautiful; every spot is perfect for photos! We will definitely be back!!!

GGuest UserWe stayed in the Wild Goose room type during the May Day holiday. During our stay, we saw squirrels, chameleons, and small monkeys in the park. Compared to Yunnan and Hangzhou, the squirrels here were the biggest I've ever seen, which shows the excellent ecological environment on the mountain. The hotel's breakfast was great, much better than the Hilton Yalong Bay where we stayed the previous two days. My picky eater child's appetite proved that, and the breakfast restaurant offers sea views, which makes eating more enjoyable. If you like peace and quiet, I recommend staying here for two nights. If you prefer a lively atmosphere, I'd suggest staying by the sea. It's lovely to quietly enjoy the sea view here, dine at a sea-view restaurant, and swim in a sea-view pool. However, if you want to experience bustling night markets and seafood stalls, you'll need to go down the mountain, which is quite inconvenient (as I got a bit carsick twice going down, even just from the lobby to Baihua Valley, a personal experience). The resort is divided into several areas, essentially small hilltops, from which you can see Haitang Bay (we could see a bit from our room) and Yalong Bay. Different room types, restaurants, and pools are also distributed across these various hilltops. If you have specific requirements regarding these, I recommend calling the hotel beforehand. After check-in, a manager contacts you. This time, Manager Sun who contacted us was excellent; she responded very promptly to any questions. She helped us book a guide service that the hotel cooperates with the scenic area. Additionally, the housekeeping staff would call to confirm if cleaning was needed. Overall, the hotel's service is definitely up to standard.

GGuest UserDue to noise issues in our previous lake-view family room, we reported it to Gina, who then moved us to a family room in the main building. Overall, this room had lower ceilings and older facilities than the previous one, but it was more spacious. The best part was how quiet it was; after 10 PM, there was virtually no noise outside, which was great for light sleepers. I really appreciate Gina from Guest Services for her attention to detail; she even prepared a small cake for the child, who was thrilled. The hotel pool's bubble activity is every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 PM. My child had so much fun they completely forgot themselves, but then developed a fever that evening. When I asked the hotel for an ear thermometer, they replied that they only had mercury thermometers. How could an A+ parent-child hotel not have an ear thermometer? While an ear thermometer might not be as accurate as a mercury one, it's difficult to use a mercury thermometer with very young children who might not cooperate. Of course, we usually bring our own ear thermometer when we travel, but there are always unexpected situations, like forgetting it this time. Service: Most of the restaurant staff, cleaning ladies in public areas, and bellhops at the entrance actively greeted us, and they were all very good. Getting Around: There's a night market within walking distance of the hotel. The beach is just a left turn out of the hotel and across the road. The hotel can arrange a car to Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, which was a filming location for 'If You Are the One 2' – just ask the Golden Key concierge in the lobby. For other places, you generally need to take a taxi. For example, if you want to go to West Island, it's at least a 45-minute taxi ride. If you're staying for three days or less, I honestly recommend just staying at the hotel. Don't venture out too much, or you'll lose the meaning of a vacation and get too tired. Issues encountered in the room: 1. The most memorable thing was that my child's white socks turned black very quickly after walking on the floor. It seemed the room floor wasn't mopped daily, as I also saw hair near the dining table that hadn't been cleaned up. However, the housekeeping staff were quite considerate; they noticed we needed more water and directly provided 8 bottles. Linens and room consumables were fully replenished after previous guests checked out. But when our extended stay room was cleaned the next day, they took away the child's bathrobe and didn't replace it, nor did they replenish consumables. I had to call later that night to request them. Overall, it was easy to tell that different people were cleaning on different days. 2. There were also some hardware issues, such as the curtain and screen window switches being reversed. The lighting modes were quite unintuitive; for example, there was no night light mode or a mode to only turn on the lights above the bedside table. The shower drain worked better than in the previous room, flowing smoothly without overflowing. However, the hot water in the shower took too long to come out – definitely over ten seconds – so long that I thought hot water wasn't coming out at all. 3. For dining, we only experienced breakfast and the buffet dinner. My child particularly enjoyed the fruit at the buffet dinner and the mermaid show. The food quality overall wasn't particularly outstanding; it was just enough to fill you up, with no dishes leaving a special impression. The photo is of breakfast. Long after checking out, I realized I had left some items, but I didn't receive any call or feedback from the hotel. Although if they had called, I probably would have said to discard them, I wonder if the current hotel process for lost and found items is to wait for guests to call and inquire, otherwise, they assume it's not wanted and dispose of it? We experienced the afternoon tea and travel photography included in the package. We didn't go to the DIY activity.

TTangxinleizhenyuThe room overall is pretty good, and there are many more free activities to participate in. Two years ago, when I visited, I even caught the Earth Hour concert, which was very interesting. This time, the room type I stayed in was larger and had better facilities, and the price was still the same – great value for money. The downsides are that the air conditioning was really a bit warm, the maintenance of the beach and lawn wasn't great, and the restaurant food has become less appealing. Also, the hotel lobby now has a lot of stalls selling small merchandise, which feels quite cluttered. However, this might be unavoidable given its value-for-money approach, but I still hope they can make more improvements if possible.

LLililixiaojieMy kids and I chose the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay for our vacation, and the overall experience was incredibly pleasant. The rooms, dining, photo ops, and family-friendly facilities were all outstanding. Here's my honest review: **Guest Rooms** The room was spacious with a simple yet elegant design, exuding a strong holiday vibe. Our sea-view room offered an unobstructed panorama of the ocean and garden from the balcony. The indoor facilities were comprehensive, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation, and the toiletries were of good quality. The hotel thoughtfully provided special toiletries and slippers for children, a very considerate detail for families. The room had excellent soundproofing; despite the lively activities in the resort, it was wonderfully quiet inside, ensuring a peaceful stay. **Dining** The hotel offers a wide selection of dining options. Breakfast is a buffet with a variety of Chinese and Western dishes, including local Hainanese specialties, fresh fruits, vegetables, and drinks – something for everyone. You can choose to dine indoors or outdoors; eating al fresco with the sea breeze was a fantastic experience. The highlight is the unique underwater restaurant, where you can watch marine life swim by as you eat, creating a truly special atmosphere. There's also a dedicated children's meal area with blandly flavored yet adorably presented dishes that kids love. The staff were enthusiastic, promptly refilling food and clearing tables. **Photo Opportunities** The hotel is a photographer's paradise with picturesque spots everywhere, no need to go searching for backdrops. The beachfront lawn, the popular spiral staircase, the sandy beach, charming wooden cabins, and the underwater restaurant each offer a different style, perfect for capturing vacation vibes or atmospheric shots. The hotel even offers photography services; the photo spots are uncrowded, making the process relaxed and enjoyable. The raw photos were high quality, making it easy to snap beautiful pictures and capture those precious travel moments. **Family Fun** This is an excellent destination for family holidays, with a rich variety of activities. Outdoors, there are multiple swimming pools, including shallow areas and a children's splash pool with waterslides, ensuring both safety and fun. The indoor kids' club is well-equipped with blocks, picture books, and play equipment to keep children entertained. The hotel organizes daily activities like bubble shows, DIY crafts, and beach games, with staff on hand to supervise. The sand on the beach downstairs is fine and soft, and you can borrow sand-digging tools for free, allowing kids to play freely while parents relax completely. **Summary** I'd highly recommend this hotel. Its location is convenient for shopping and getting around. The rooms are comfortable, the food is diverse and delicious, there are abundant photo opportunities, and the family facilities and services are thorough and attentive. Whether you're on a family trip, looking for great photo ops, or simply want a relaxing getaway, this place is perfect.

GGuest UserThe environment is fantastic! For a hotel costing just over 1000, the ambiance alone is worth 800! The room was very spacious, and the ocean view was absolutely stunning! Although the weather was bad and rainy when we arrived, making the room a bit damp, we contacted the front desk and they immediately sent up a dehumidifier. Our butler, Bella, provided excellent service! We wanted to check in early, and she actively helped us with the process. The complimentary travel photography offered by the hotel was also great! LLirongzhaozhaoOur family of three (with a three-year-old) stayed for five days and four nights, and we pretty much spent all our time at the hotel or nearby. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and overall, it was excellent! 👍 You really have to experience it yourself to know how good it is. A big thanks to Sunny for her attentiveness; even during the busy May Day holiday, her replies were quick, and our requests were handled promptly and efficiently! 🏨 **Facilities**: It has a sort of vintage, old-money vibe – spacious, which I really liked. No issues with our stay, and the duvet wasn't too thick! It was just right for sleeping with the AC on at night; adults weren't cold, and the child wasn't hot! Plus, when we asked for a bed rail, the housekeeping staff literally knocked on our door right after we finished speaking. They installed it incredibly fast, without any fuss, and were gone in a flash – unbelievably quick! 🧹 **Cleanliness**: The entire hotel was spotless and refreshing, and room cleaning was very efficient! Sometimes we only needed the trash taken out and nothing else, and a quick word to Sunny was all it took – everything was perfectly arranged. 🌴 **Environment**: It's got a kind of retro American garden aesthetic, definitely a resort feel! The public areas are large and beautiful, and the night view is stunning. The big lawn is absolutely amazing (yyds)! All three pools are lovely, and the children's pool is truly excellent 🛝. The hotel has so many picturesque spots for photos; it felt like we could get all those trending Sanya photo ops right here at the hotel! The value of hotels on Haitang Bay is definitely on the rise. 🍳 **Dining**: Breakfast was very rich, with slight variations each day. The kids' section had plenty of options too, with a dedicated area for babies, as well as large round tables and multi-person tables, perfect for big families. The Western restaurant by the pool was also great and delicious. Ordering takeout was convenient and delivered quickly; we just had to pick it up at the entrance, which I thought was fine, like a little walk 🚶. 🏋️ **Gym**: Very good! It's located near the children's adventure playground. Most of the equipment had usage tutorials, making them simple and easy to operate. Our family of three tried out all the equipment, and the child had even more fun than going out! 👶 **Kids' Club**: The area for younger children is a bit small, but still enough to play in. More toys would be even better. There's another larger one for kids aged 5 and up, which costs extra. Kids can even experience riding horses 🐎 and ostriches right here at the hotel – can you believe it? 📷 Because we had our child with us, we usually only visited one attraction per day and always came back to the hotel for an afternoon nap. We spent a lot of time at the hotel and never felt bored. Even during May Day, it wasn't overly crowded, very orderly, and quiet. There were so many things to do at the hotel: swimming, walking, watching small animals, enjoying the sea, digging in the sand, afternoon tea, playing in the kids' club, riding the mini train, collecting shells, and more. In short, we were all very satisfied, had a very pleasant holiday, and it was excellent value for money 👍. We will definitely come again next time! 🥳

GGuest UserStaying in a Banyan Tree Sanya Ocean View Villa was an absolutely incredible experience! The 360-square-meter villa was spacious and comfortable, with its red tiled roofs and white walls blending Eastern charm with tropical flair. The private pool, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, offered glimpses of the shimmering ocean through the greenery – truly serene and relaxing. The butler service was exceptionally attentive, from the welcome drinks to the turndown gifts, every detail was perfect. I highly recommend the Banyan Tree SPA; the therapists were professional, and the tropical oriental treatment, combining scrubs and massages, melted all my fatigue away. The sunset ritual at the Sea Breeze Bar was romantic, and the Hainanese noodles at Ming Yue restaurant were surprisingly delicious. The privacy here is outstanding, making it a true hidden gem for an island getaway!
