Let's start with the positives: While the hotel isn't brand new, the rooms are well-maintained, and I really liked the overall layout, especially the bathroom. The sink, shower, and toilet are all separate, and even the hard-to-reach areas were clean with no unpleasant odors – which is very important when traveling with children. The shower had great water pressure and hot water, which I really appreciated. Also, room service was quite prompt. The doormen at the entrance were very polite, always greeting us warmly and actively helping with the car doors and luggage.
Now for the downsides: This time, I didn't receive the pink roses that The Langham is known for. Also, the soundproofing was a bit lacking. I could clearly hear the neighboring room's door closing, loud conversations, and the housekeeping cart being pushed down the hallway.
Five-star full marks! ✨ Atlantis Sanya is absolutely worth it!
Overall Experience: A perfect score, definitely my top choice for a Sanya vacation. The stay far exceeded my expectations.
The hotel itself is luxurious and grand. The giant aquarium in the lobby creates an amazing atmosphere, and every photo taken looks like it's from a magazine. The room I stayed in had a fantastic view, directly facing the stunning seascape of Haitang Bay. Waking up to the sea breeze and sunshine was incredibly comfortable.
Room Cleanliness: The room was clean, tidy, and spacious. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the toiletries had a sophisticated scent. The attention to detail was evident. The staff were gentle, attentive, and responded quickly to requests. The entire experience was excellent.
Most Satisfying: The unlimited access to the Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost Chambers Aquarium included with the stay was incredible value for money. The water park rides were thrilling and fun, and the aquarium offered close-up views of various marine creatures, creating a dreamy and therapeutic atmosphere. The C Show performance was also stunning and impressive. It's truly enjoyable for all ages.
All dining and entertainment options can be found within the hotel, and the facilities are comprehensive and convenient. It's perfectly suited for both family trips and leisure vacations. The experience was impeccable, and I genuinely recommend it. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sanya!

The hotel is in a great location, right next to a shopping mall, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. We stayed in a sea-view room which offered expansive views and was absolutely beautiful. There's a seaside promenade right outside the hotel, and the room itself was clean and tidy. The hotel staff were very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Breakfast was diverse and plentiful. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.

Facilities: The Hermès orange tone of the TV stand in the room isn't too jarring, and the overall design feels very harmonious.
Hygiene: The cleanliness seems excellent.
Environment: The minimalist yet luxurious design creates a fantastic ambiance. It's super convenient for walks in Wanlu Park and exploring Qilou Old Street, and being right next to MixC means there are plenty of dining options. Very convenient.
Service: The front desk service was warm, friendly, and very polite. The room they arranged was great.

Overall, the room was comfortable and spacious.
**Hygiene**: Upon entering, it felt very clean and tidy, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. There was no noticeable damp or musty smell.
**Environment**: A standard five-star hotel with marble finishes and four well-arranged elevators.
**Service**:
1. The front desk staff showed no obvious change in expression; I didn't feel welcomed, nor did they proactively introduce hotel facilities. Guests need to ask and inquire themselves.
2. The concierge staff were warm and friendly. They were quick to handle luggage and offer various forms of assistance, which was heartwarming.
**Dining**: The buffet breakfast was quite average. The only delicious item was the Hainan specialty pastry. The saving grace was the beautiful view from the 33rd floor.
**Children's Facilities**: Virtually non-existent. The children's area on the 5th floor was dimly lit, and the so-called parent-child activities lacked effective organization and planning. The only positive was that it was clean and tidy.
**Location**: Excellent. It's very close to both Wanlu Lake and MixC (shopping mall). The surrounding area is lined with coconut trees, making it very pleasant.
**Summary**:
If you're traveling for business and just need a comfortable night's sleep, the hotel's hygiene, environment, hardware facilities, and location are all good.
However, from a family travel perspective, it's quite average, and the hotel needs to put more effort into its planning.

I have to commend the front desk staff – their service was incredibly warm and professional. Check-in was super fast, and they were patient and thorough, even proactively offering tips on local attractions. It was a heartwarming experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, and my stay was perfect; my family was also very happy. I'd love to come back again, definitely in the spring next time!

I spontaneously decided to come to Hainan for a relaxing Qingming holiday, soaking up the sun. The sun was really intense, with daily temperatures consistently above 37 degrees Celsius, and occasionally even hitting 40 degrees. However, coming from a famously hot region, I'm used to high temperatures and found it quite bearable. Plus, with the sea breeze, it was actually quite comfortable!
This was my second visit to Haikou. After checking out many hotels online, I finally settled on The Westin. I'd read some reviews saying the hotel's location wasn't great, with limited dining and shopping nearby. Personally, I think the location is actually quite good. It's right by the coast, offering beautiful views of both the river and the sea, as well as the bridge. There are a few decent restaurants near the hotel by Century Bridge, and it's also very close to the Cloudscape Library, just a few hundred meters' walk away. The best part is the scenic walk along the coast, especially beautiful at sunset!
One of the hotel's highlights is the executive lounge on the 20th floor, which offers truly stunning views. There's also an outdoor terrace just outside the lounge. Sitting out there with a few drinks and snacks, enjoying the view at sunset, is incredibly relaxing and atmospheric! The executive lounge is generally very good, open from 11 AM to 11 PM. During the day, there are usually soft drinks and a small selection of fruits and biscuits, but from 5 PM to 8 PM during happy hour, they serve light meals. I found The Westin's happy hour to be excellent, with a wide variety of hot dishes, including both Chinese and Western options. The selection of drinks was also extensive, and the food was exquisite, with different offerings each night. This was much better than what I've experienced at other five-star hotels – dinner here was more than sufficient! The hotel's breakfast buffet also deserves high praise. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 11 AM, which is perfect for late sleepers, giving them plenty of time to eat! The breakfast spread was incredibly rich and diverse, with all types of dishes, both Chinese and Western, each with its own character. I highly recommend the rice noodles and wontons – they were outstanding! There was definitely an abundance of fruit and drinks. As it was a holiday, there were many diners during breakfast, but the restaurant never felt chaotic. Tables and cutlery were promptly cleared, and food was refilled quickly – absolutely commendable!
This time, I chose the Executive Suite. Unfortunately, I didn't get an upgrade this time. The room itself was great. Although it was a corner unit, the designer made excellent use of the space, creating a very sensible layout. Most importantly, as someone from the south, I appreciate being able to open windows for ventilation, which is much better than staying in high-floor rooms that can't be opened. I heard the best room type is the River and Ocean Suite, with even better views, and I hope to experience it next time! The hotel's bedding was good, toiletries were average, and the customer service was excellent – all my requests were met quickly. The towels were also great, new and soft! A major perk of the executive room is the late check-out until around 4 PM, plus complimentary ironing of two garments daily. I think these benefits are incredibly guest-friendly!
The hotel's concierge service was outstanding. Every time we returned to the hotel by car, they would proactively open the door and greet us. A special thanks to Mr. Justin Bao, who provided us with excellent, efficient, and professional service. He not only gave us an overview of the hotel but also advised us on how to get better deals for future bookings – truly grateful to him! I hope to see him again on my next trip to Hainan! I was also delighted that the hotel gifted us a souvenir when we checked out – I absolutely loved it! I will definitely choose to stay at The Westin again on my next visit to Haikou. It's a shame this trip was so short; I look forward to spending a longer holiday here next time, just enjoying the hotel! I hope the hotel continues to improve!
Oh, and the hotel is also very close to Qilou Old Street, just about a 10 yuan taxi ride, which is super convenient!

What a pleasant surprise! I come to Sanya every year, sometimes even twice a year. I've watched Tianli Bay open, and this time, on a whim, I decided to switch to this hotel, and it felt like I'd discovered a new vacation paradise. Both the lobby and the rooms are very airy and bright; the lobby, in particular, looks stunning in the evening. The pool area is fantastic and caters to various needs, with sections suitable for both young children and older kids. Our butler, Qiu, was very responsive, and the front desk check-in was quick and seamless. 😇
I really have to praise the breakfast restaurant this time. The layout, lighting, and food quality at Tianli Bay's breakfast restaurant are on par with executive lounges at other hotels. The simple soup noodles, with their flavorful broth, crispy lettuce, and beef stewed with radish – you can taste the sweet crunch of the lettuce, the tender sweetness of the radish, and the soft chicken. It was incredibly delicious. All the fruit and vegetable juices are freshly squeezed and truly refreshing. They even offer oat bowls with such an innovative concept – it was so outstanding that I kept praising it while eating. I'd come back just for the breakfast alone! I noticed the hotel even raises its own Wenchang chickens and grows some lemongrass and cilantro, which really shows how much they prioritize the dining experience. The breakfast focuses on quality over quantity, which I appreciate.
However, the housekeeping department absolutely needs to address waterproofing and mold prevention. Otherwise, it would be such a shame for a hotel in such a prime location. While the beach isn't exactly 'glassy' clear, it's more than sufficient for swimming, digging in the sand, collecting shells, and relaxing on the hotel's beach chairs, with staff keeping an eye on things. After all, many hotels don't even provide beach chairs…
My stay at Four Points by Sheraton Qiongzhong was fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was soft, and the service was warm and attentive. The front desk staff was efficient and even proactively upgraded my room. The breakfast was plentiful, the facilities were new, and the soundproofing was excellent. It's conveniently located and offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

After our trip to Shimei Bay, we arrived at the hotel with my entire family, including young children and elderly parents, along with several large suitcases. We were understandably quite tired from the journey. Upon arrival, it was clear that the hotel had a significant shortage of staff both inside and outside the lobby – a stark contrast to Shimei Bay, where service personnel were readily available everywhere. Although there weren't many guests checking in at the time, and the scene wasn't particularly busy, given our large group and numerous bags, I had to proactively request a luggage cart to make things easier. For a resort hotel that prides itself on the guest experience, the initial service response would be much better if it were more proactive and if staffing levels were more adequate.
Regarding the room, the promotional pictures I saw when booking showed a sea-facing view with a visible beach. However, the actual view from our room was quite different from what we expected. While we could see the sea in the distance, our primary view was of the hotel's pool area, and the beach wasn't visible at all. The visual impression didn't match the promotional images.
During the Chinese New Year period, the hotel organized various activities, some free and some with a charge, which is understandable. However, it was quite surprising to find that even digging for sand crabs on the public beach area required an additional fee. Compared to the hotel we stayed at previously in Shimei Bay, the activity planning here was indeed a bit lackluster.
On the bright side, the breakfast was excellent. There was a rich variety of options, especially the Pandan Tofu Pudding, Pandan Pancakes, and various Hainan noodles. These were not only distinctive but also delicious, adding a wonderful culinary delight to our mornings.
What truly impressed us was the mature food scene around the hotel. From Coconut Chicken, Wenchang Chicken, Ding'an Jumping Beef (which can be hotpot or BBQ), Baoluo Noodles, Hainan Noodles, to all sorts of desserts and snacks – the choices were incredibly diverse. This added a lot of local flavor and memorable gastronomic experiences to our trip.
The hotel's beach area itself was quite good. The sea breeze, sand quality, and the overall experience were very relaxing and comfortable.

VVitalii TarasiukJust checked out from Birds Nest resort Peacock Villa:
1. Location is perfect - both quiet and easy-to-reach (trip from Dadonghai bay was more or less 30 minutes).
2. Inside amenities and included options are perfect too - you get several restaurants (separate for breakfast and lunches/dinners), as well as unrestricted access to park itself and 1 paid access to cable bridge and glass bridge, which is frankly enough for one trip. You can do both in different days - we went to the peak park itself + glass bridge on Sunday and suspended rope bridge on Monday.
3. Food is also very delicious - breakfasts include sufficient choice of European-style dishes as well as Chinese noodles/soup and the lunch/dinner Thai restaurant is also highly recommended, tasty and quite authentic Thai food (Tom Yum, Pad Thai, etc.).
4. Last but not the least - Customer Service. Service is top-notch, you can access the service desk on WeChat between 7-23 hours for arranging transfer shuttles, room service and any other request. Huge thanks for the help to Xiao Chen, who helped with every our request for these 3 days!!!
All in all it was the best experience in Hainan and it's all thanks to hotel staff who are always happy to help and organise your rest. Thank you all!🙏

XXiongcandeerfeiStayed for 2 consecutive nights, and it was great value for money. The kids loved the pool every day, and it's super close to the sea, just across a road. Gina from guest services was excellent; she checked in with me daily to see if I slept well and if I needed anything – very thoughtful. The best part was waking up to a side view of the sea from our room. We caught the sunrise two mornings in a row at the perfect time, which made us so happy! 😊😊😊😊😊😊 We'll definitely be back!

TTangxinleizhenyuThe room overall is pretty good, and there are many more free activities to participate in. Two years ago, when I visited, I even caught the Earth Hour concert, which was very interesting. This time, the room type I stayed in was larger and had better facilities, and the price was still the same – great value for money. The downsides are that the air conditioning was really a bit warm, the maintenance of the beach and lawn wasn't great, and the restaurant food has become less appealing. Also, the hotel lobby now has a lot of stalls selling small merchandise, which feels quite cluttered. However, this might be unavoidable given its value-for-money approach, but I still hope they can make more improvements if possible.
GGuest UserOur stay at InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay Resort was absolutely wonderful! We were traveling with our child, who suddenly fell ill and started throwing up. The hotel staff were incredibly caring throughout. They not only helped us promptly clean up but also thoughtfully brought us some comforting congee and consistently checked in on our child's well-being. It was truly touching.
The hotel's facilities, cleanliness, ambiance, and service were all top-notch – a perfect score for the overall experience! We had a great night's sleep; the air conditioning temperature was just right, and we didn't feel any drafts blowing directly on us. A special thank you to Lucas 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 for his meticulous and thoughtful service, and for following up with us so attentively. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and highly recommend it!
GGuest UserMy stay at Sanya Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort was absolutely incredible, far exceeding my expectations! First off, a huge shout-out to our dedicated butler. Their service was meticulous and thoughtful throughout our entire stay, from check-in to travel inquiries, they were patient and attentive. Any request we had was promptly addressed, making us feel incredibly comfortable.
The hotel boasts stunning sea views directly facing the ocean. The expansive vista, the clear and calming blue sea, and the picturesque seaside scenery made every photo opportunity feel like a professional shot. Strolling along the beach was incredibly relaxing. The hotel's security was also top-notch; even late at night, we'd see staff regularly patrolling, ensuring our safety and giving us complete peace of mind whether we were out or resting.
The Thai restaurant within the hotel was another delightful surprise. The dishes were authentically delicious, made with fresh ingredients, and rich in flavor – every single one was memorable. The restaurant service was equally attentive and timely, with enthusiastic staff creating a relaxed and comfortable dining atmosphere. Overall, from the environment and service to the dining, everything was impeccable. It was an excellent vacation experience, and I highly recommend it. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Yalong Bay!

GGuest UserFacilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive. The beach is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, but unfortunately, the waves were too big, so we could only admire them from afar. There's a sightseeing mini-train that circles the hotel for tours. There are three pools, one of which is a water park for children, and lifeguards are always on duty. Free swimming rings are provided, which is very convenient.
Hygiene: The rooms and facilities are kept quite clean. The rooms had no strange odors, and the soundproofing was good, so it was very quiet for sleeping at night.
Environment: The environment is pretty good, with a large lawn that's great for taking photos and strolls. It's also very comfortable to just relax and unwind at the hotel.
Service: We waited in line for 15 minutes to check in at the front desk, and the check-in process itself took 30 minutes. We booked two king rooms for three nights, and the room issues delayed us for a long time. There were suitable rooms available, but we were put through two rounds of arrangements. The efficiency was a bit low. There was also a slight unpleasantness when getting towels by the pool; I hope some staff members can improve their service awareness. However, a kind elderly woman, possibly housekeeping, on the first floor of Building 5 was particularly enthusiastic in helping us find the sightseeing shuttle. Also, a young man at the hotel's main entrance saw us, a group with elderly and children pushing a wheelchair, returning from outside and proactively offered us a ride to the lobby. That was very heartwarming.
Breakfast and the buffet dinner had a good variety of choices, and the quality was decent.
Overall, it's still a pretty good hotel.
GGuest UserThis stay truly exceeded my expectations! As soon as I walked in, I was amazed by the elegant, antique-style lobby. The Chinese-inspired decor was sophisticated and grand, exuding exquisite charm and a wonderful ambiance everywhere you looked. The hotel also features a clean and tidy swimming pool with crystal-clear water and a comfortable environment – perfect for relaxing. I especially want to commend KK at the front desk; her service was outstanding. She was patient and professional during check-in, answered all my questions, and was gentle and thorough throughout, which made me feel incredibly welcome. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, and the soundproofing was good, making for a quiet and comfortable overall experience. The location is convenient and makes getting around easy, offering great value for money. The service, environment, and amenities all show great care and attention to detail, making for a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend it to everyone; I'll definitely choose this hotel first for my next trip. It deserves a five-star rating!

GGuest UserMy extensive research definitely paid off! I chose the perfect first hotel for my Sanya trip. I was a bit worried based on some online reviews, but after two days, it totally exceeded my expectations. The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, and the location is excellent; you can see the ocean right from the lobby. It has a huge pool and water play area that seamlessly blend into its private beach. While the decor is a bit dated and the facilities are older, the bones of the place are solid. The breakfast buffet was also decent and, for me personally, met my needs. Not far from the hotel are Baishuigu Valley and Yatai Commercial Street, with night markets, BBQ, and restaurants, making dining very convenient. After dinner, strolling back with the sea breeze was both good for digestion and very pleasant. Oh, and the hotel also offers free airport shuttle and duty-free shop buses, which is great. It might have been the off-season, but I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a room with an unbeatable sea view. For this price in Yalong Bay, it's excellent value for money. The front desk staff, especially CC, provided very thoughtful service. I'd love to stay here again next time I'm in Yalong Bay.

LL RomanThe hotel is beyond expectations. It is located in Xiaodonghai Bay. We were vacationing with our daughter of 1.4 years old. We went for complete privacy, silence and relaxation. The hotel consists only of villas, there are about 30 of them, there are no building rooms, which ensures privacy and silence. The territory is large, incredibly well maintained and very beautiful. Beauty is in the details. The villa itself is well planned and consists of a main house and a small additional one. We had lunch here when we ordered something in the room. The personnel brought a high chair for my daughter and it stayed here during all days of our vacation. Interestingly, they don't just bring food to the room, but also serve the table. It's nice.
In general, the staff is as attentive as possible, this is reflected in the little things. The breakfast was included in the accommodation, so we either went to the hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner (only Thai and Chinese cuisine, but there is a children's menu and we ordered something for our daughter), and something Thai for ourselves. Everything is cooked very tasty and of high-quality. It was at this hotel that I first tasted the local Hainan dessert - cold coconut milk soup with fruits and cereals. I'm not a big fan of Chinese food in general, but I really liked this soup! We also ordered food directly to the villa through the Chinese app Elema (饿了么), which is in Chinese. We didn't go to street restaurants. In general, in China, the delivery of ready-made food is incredibly developed, you can order anything and anywhere. If we needed a taxi, we ordered it through the Chinese Didi (弟弟)app. But we didn't want to leave the villa and the hotel at all, we spent most of our time by the pool. Usually we need the sea, but this time it was so good to chill out at the villa that we somehow didn't need the sea). Moreover, we have a little daughter, and so far it has been more convenient to swim with her in our own pool than at sea.
We used Alipay to pay everywhere. During our stay, we visited the spa several times, took various treatments (body scrubs, various massages), we really liked everything. They do it efficiently, I recommend it. I also recommend trying small drinking coconuts in Hainan - they are divine! The very taste of a rich bounty)). Look for small brownish colors, no more than 10 cm in diameter, it has a very rich thick sweet taste of coconut. About the sea: if you are looking for active swimming in the sea, the hotel may not be suitable. It's very shallow here (that's okay) and after about 100 meters, where it's still shallow, there's an underwater breakwater. Therefore, if you swim, you will just bump into it. Because of this, there are no waves in the bay. But there are algae growing on the bottom. It may be possible to swim well during a very strong tide, but it was not possible to swim during our visit. That's why we spent the day at the villa, swimming and relaxing there. And after sunset, we went out for a walk along the shore, admired the sunset, played with our daughter in the sand and on the playground, and also strolled along the pier. For some reason, for the first time, we really didn't really want to swim in the sea). In general, if you want to spend your entire vacation in complete relaxation with the chirping of birds, the sound of the wind and the lapping of waves, then I definitely recommend Banyan tree.
