NNicolaLee99The room was clean, equipped with a fridge, and located in a fairly quiet area. Every day, they provided a pitcher of filtered water, along with towels, body wash, shampoo, hand soap, slippers, and a toothbrush with toothpaste. Other amenity kits (like the sewing kit or shower cap) were available for a fee
SShayuhaijiaofenHonestly, it felt pretty average, more like a 3-star. The hotel is quite far from the city center; you have to take the 72 bus to Wong Chuk Hang MTR station, which makes for a long commute. There were a lot of Indian guests, and you can cook, which is a plus. However, there's no bottled water – you have to go to the kitchen to get your own.
GGuest UserWe was looking for hotel that was centralised to wherever we are looking (Disneyland, Ocean park etc) and we decided to look for hotel at Prince Edward or Mongkok then we found Starphire hotel. The price was affordable and room was clean, just that need about 10mins walk from Prince Edward MTR (Come out from Exit C left side out, keep walk straight till near underneath second highway or have to turn, then turn right and continue walking till see hotel, besides it is ”The Cloud”). Coffee and water was provided 24/7 at level 3 besides check in counter. Breakfast which was bread will be given if go to level 3 in the morning. Overall, it was a pleasant Stay and is happy to revisit if got chance.

Good
GGuest UserExcellent location - footsteps away from the airport express bus stop and plenty of food around. Clean but tight if you have more than 1 large suitcase, though they have space under the bed for a medium suitcase. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.
ЕЕлена БунькоThis was my first visit to Hong Kong. I was aware of the common perception that hotel rooms here tend to be very small and that larger, quality hotels come at a high price. I was therefore pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel offers spacious rooms, modern decor, and good cleanliness. Together with its convenient location, it fully met our needs. I would highly recommend it.
BbeibeiloveseaComing to Hong Kong this time, I searched for many hotels on Trip.com, but most rooms were tiny and the facilities were outdated. I finally decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong, and as soon as I entered, I was blown away by the sea-view room on the first floor with a large balcony! Stepping out, you're greeted by an endless expanse of clear blue sea – the view is absolutely stunning! 🌊
At night, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the balcony, watching the starry sky, eating fruit, and having drinks. It was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Getting around from the hotel is super convenient; there's a free shuttle bus directly to the MTR station, making it easy to go shopping, explore, and try out all the amazing local food.
The buffet breakfast was a bit simple, so don't have high expectations. Once you're near the MTR station, there are so many Hong Kong delicacies that you'll wish you had more stomachs to try them all.
The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a healing sea view and excellent value for money. The experience was fantastic, and it's definitely on my must-stay list for my next visit to Hong Kong. I'll definitely be back!
GGuest UserThe room is on the smaller side, and so is the bathroom (see photo), though the king-size bed is decent (see photo). Amenities include a mini-fridge and a safe. If I had to nitpick, the toilet is a bit old-fashioned, not a smart one, and I'd suggest providing paper toilet seat covers (see photo). On the plus side, the hotel is conveniently located at Tuen Mun MTR, easily accessible from Exit A or F, which is very helpful for travelers unfamiliar with the area.
LlamlllThe hotel is nestled at the foot of the mountain, offering a tranquil environment away from the hustle and bustle of areas near MTR stations. However, it's about a 20-minute walk to Central/Admiralty MTR stations, or a 6-7 minute taxi ride (around HKD 20-35). We were assigned a room on the 28th floor facing Central, and the view was absolutely stunning. We had a complete panoramic view of the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, the US Consulate, the Peak Tram Terminus, Government House, and even the distant Bank of China Tower, Standard Chartered Bank Building, and IFC.
The staff were all very warm, friendly, and accommodating. They even helped bring up our food deliveries to the room. The room cleanliness was excellent. The soundproofing, however, was average; we could hear louder noises from upstairs and next door. In the mornings, we could also hear the birds chirping from the Zoological and Botanical Gardens below. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, but there was a kitchen available for cooking.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for something a bit more unique. Compared to 5-star and 4-star hotels near MTR stations, this place offers a really good stay.
AAtingThe family room was very convenient, and the surroundings were lively. However, the room itself was a bit old-fashioned. The sofa was really dirty, it felt like it had never been cleaned. Our room faced the road, which was quite uncomfortable, and on the first day, the curtains had a problem, letting in too much light.
GGuest UserBooked this place as a treat during our stay in Hong Kong and wow. It was even better than I was anticipating. Big apartment and very clean. Had everything we needed. Thank you! Loads of local recommended spots close by. Foodie heaven!! Would deffo come back. Staff was extremely lovely also. Got to store our bags there for free.
