A very good experience staying in the Ramada. Good proximity to a variety of local food stalls featuring their white noodles and BBQ. Kunming train station is close too. Best surprise is we had free upgrade of not just one but both rooms. Thanks to “Yan” for being such a cheery and pleasant service staff when we checkin at 3am after our flight. Rooms were clean and have a soothing feel plus convenient services at a touch of main controls. The hotel crew also helped us with apps for food delivery, attractions and transport tips. The staff made our stay an enjoyable experience. I will return for another stay the very next time.

Really lovely stay with great value! Pros: - Really convenient location that is near Kunming station (10mins taxi) and alot of food options nearby - Near Nanqiang street which is really nice to walk around, with street food and many cute shops - Very good service. The staff even helped me to carry my luggages to our DiDi taxi upon check out! - Clean and spacious room, lots of space to open luggage! 2 sinks for toilet which is awesome. Breakfast portion is HUGE and quite nice. But maybe cause I am used to lighter breakfast. - There is afternoon snack & night time dessert too - Relatively quiet at night as its not too near the roads Cons: - Nothing bad really

The service is the best, I thought I lost my key card, After they done the verification, they just gave me another key. Fortunately I just forgot to bring my key card. The location is the best near the metro and famous tourist spot. However even though it is non smoking room, the cigarette smell can still pass through the toilet ventilation.

The hotel is about 300m from Nanping Pedestrian Street. The walk to the street is peppered with convenience stalls, food and shopping, so it was very pleasant. The room was comfortable and large. Breakfast was a spread too.

For travelers visiting Kunming for the first time, it’s best to let hotel know in advance that you need airport pickup one day in advance. We did that and it was seamless for us. The check-in was fast and the room was clean and quiet. It is common that guests could smoke in the rooms and this is something we are not quite used to. Overall, I’ll still give a big thumbs up for those considering to try out this hotel!

This hotel is located in a very cosy and quiet environment in Kunming city centre . The surrounding is very much having ancient feeling and most importantly . The hotel staff are very friendly and seduce was tit top. It is a good location for meeting old friend and chatting with friends visiting . If I return one day , this would be my first choice of stay .

We genuinely enjoyed our time at Lisiman. When we first arrived at the hotel, we recalled being welcomed by their resident huskies. As we relaxed in the cozy lounge area, nice music was playing in the background. Despite language barrier, the staff was friendly and always attended to our needs. The hotel was located at Napa Lake scenic area side, but it was easy to find DiDi to go to Dukezong Ancient Town and Ganden Sumtseling Monastery. On our second day in Shangri-la, we ended up spending most of our time at the hotel, taking in the peace and quite while watching the animals.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Hotel staff are really friendly and welcoming, when we arrived at 9pm. Upon check in, we were served with hot towels and some pastry. We were escort to our room (welcome fruit and dessert). Overall, great experience and will definitely come back again. Great things - Breakfast spread was decent (Yunan Mixian was the bomb) - Room was supply with oxygen - Room was really clean and new - Complimentary laundry service done by the staff (not coincidentally laundromat) Things to improve - The heater in the room was too warm even after trying to adjust the temperature. We need to open the window to let the cool breeze in. - no fridge in the room - no air conditioned. As per staff, Shangri-La is usually cold throughout whole year so only warmer is provided in the room

I learned a lesson not to book a brand new hotel which carries many bugs. However, I appreciate the staff's attitude, they handled the problem with patience and responded to my request positively. Regret that I don't know their names. The girls on duty at the reception when I checked in at night. The lady who manage the rooms. Even the room attendant was nice.

Good hotel near the airport (5 minutes drive) for transit in Kunming. It’s new and I love the room design. There’s even a laundry room in case you need it. My only gripe is that they don’t have any restaurant servicing lunch and dinner or room service food for that matter. There are a few restaurants within walking distance but sometimes you just want to stay in your room or hotel you know? I did bump into a chambermaid who very kindly helped me order food delivery. You can do it yourself and they have robots to send the delivery up to your room. But I didn’t want to install any food app just for my one night stay. Overall it’s still a very nice comfortable hotel which I would recommend.

A very nice place, short walk from the ancient city but far enough away from the hustle bustle of the ancient city. Overall clean place and the owner is usually found sipping tea at the lobby. You can join him for a chit chat or get his help to book tours or buy stuff like tea or flower cakes. He is very professional and subtle in his selling approach. Breakfast is mixian 米线 served with sides by an older lady. Delicious! Lots of other food options nearby

The staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was facing the lake view, it add up our good impression during our stay. and the bed was cleaned and comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning, afternoon tea and the milks provided by the hotel staff at night during our stay. We felt so welcome and relaxed. We also loved the convenient location that close to major attractions. We will come back again in future.

Just right outside the North gate of LiJiang ancient city, high price to value ratio…. Can take cab to the front door of hotel and don’t need to carry luggage inside the bumpy road of the ancient city. Room is spacious amidst it is next door to the popular tourist spot.

How i imagine staying with family would be like. Located in a quiet part of bustling Lijiang Ancient Town, front of house rode a bicycle cart to the south gate to pick up our luggage on arrival, prepared warm sweet soup (晚安甜汤) every night, welcomed us back from a day of touring with rose tea (花茶) and provided a simple daily breakfast. The room was well appointed with a smart home system that was very fun to use, and premium products like a dyson hairdryer and smart toilet with automatic washlet.

Fabulous hotel in a great location to visit Lijiang Old Town. It is right down the hill from the Lion Hill park. Our room was so comfortable with aircon and a comfy queen size bed. The staff were so helpful, meeting us at the taxi drop-off point and walking us into Old Town. Breakfast was fantastic - set meal with lots of variety including congee, noodles, fresh fruit, milk and a boiled egg. And the best part is the view from the patio where breakfast is served. The only negative is some of the fancy design things don’t work like the 1m wide sink in our room didn’t drain because the angle is off! However, I recommend this place (note the English name is “Allure”) and I would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Staying at this homestay was the best decision I have made on this Lijiang trip. Location: Only about 5 minutes walk from the gate, which was very convenient. They also arranged a cart to carry our luggages upon our arrival and during our leave, which was very considerate. Service: The staffs took care of us very well. A special thanks to Ms. 婷婷 who was very attentive and assisted us throughout our whole stay. The afternoon tea by the stream was very relaxing. Amenities: The room was very spacious packed with modern amenities. There is also a cafe and you can sit with relaxation listening the live band. Overall, absolutely five out of five stars stay. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Lijiang.

Our first trip to Lijiang, and what a memorable experience! Our host contacted us and helped to arrange pick up from train station and treated us to a tea tasting when we arrived. She also gave us a room upgrade and it had the best view of the Snow mountains and Lijiang old town! There are many eateries and shops near the hotel, its a small walk downhill to the main ancient town! She also gave us recommendations for places to visit and was so helpful! Definitely staying here again whether its with friends or my wife for sure! Thank you Xinsu for the love!

My wife and I had a great stay here. The breakfast was great, the room was spacious (and well heated), the shower facilities were fantastic (uses Kohler, has great water pressure and consistent hot water, has heated floor so no issues stepping out of the cubicle), and the staff service was top-notch, detailing the positives we encountered in our stay: 1. Upon check-in, they would provide recommendations (substantiated) on restaurants and bars in the area worth trying. 2. We also had the great pleasure of visiting the local romance theme park, recommended by the staff, at a great discount which foreign travellers would not be entitled to. (FWIW, my wife and I never enjoyed theme parks/theatric shows as we prefer nature hiking but this is mind-blowing and worth visiting). 3. The boss had also brought us along for a mini-tea appreciation session across a few local delights, alongside some of their in-house baked products. I have to say, the quality of products they offered to us, was really good. 4. The boss was also in consistent communication to make sure that we were enjoying our trip, and it was really pleasant to see how the other guests were also comfortable speaking with him whenever they popped by the accommodation. 5. On top of the pu-er tasting and flower cakes as detailed in their package, they also made sure we were comfortable on our check out by arranging a coolie to lug our luggage out to roadside for convenience, and an additional pack of local delight. Overall, a really good stay! One downside however, is that this is a very tough accommodation to find, but once you have it pinned in your maps, navigating should be straightforward.

What a pleasant stay, breathtaking scenery and spectacular food options! The hotel is not that close to the airport, however it does make for a quieter stay. It’s located close to most attractions and restaurants which is a major plus. The staff are definitely welcoming and the hotel for sure foreign friendly. This was my 3rd time staying in this chain and I have to say everything was in place. The carpets, bedding, linens and couches were clean. I was surprised by how spacious our room was for the price I paid. The food was delicious for sure and as usual you had plenty to choose from. If I was to nitpick, maybe the cutlery and milk could more often be topped up, and the shower door was leaking slightly but this is just me being a ‘Karen’. WHope you all also have a wonderful stay here too.

This homestay enjoys a unique geographical environment. It is close to the Qingxi Reservoir and overlooks the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The scenery is beautiful and the light is good. You can take a picture with just one frame. Although the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was covered by clouds when I stayed there, the sparkling lake view alone is pleasing to the eye. The homestay is very modernistic as a whole. It has an artistic and level design and a good atmosphere. It is not the inferior decoration of other homestays that blindly pursues gimmicks. The floor and wall of the room are all latex paint (it should be). At first glance, it still takes time to adapt. It feels like the Iraqi war-damaged style, but it has a sense of ancient Greece when you live in it. It is very similar to the European and American dramas. The overall feeling is still OK. The bathtub is very intimate and equipped with a disposable cylinder sleeve and bath ball. I won’t go into details about other sanitary facilities. They are all good. The breakfast is also like a work of art. It has both delicious taste and fragrance. The ingredients are simple and pure. Each one is cooked very carefully. With this invincible landscape, it is too enjoyable to eat. Not to mention the service. I came back from the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with altitude sickness, and the front desk Tao Zefen brother immediately gave me a bottle of oxygen. Highly recommended. If I'm not traveling by car next time, I will definitely stay here again. The road to drive in is quite narrow, which is quite a test of driving skills. I almost scraped against other cars when I was leaving. However, this is basically a common problem for all B&Bs in Lijiang.

Super friendly staff who recommended nice dinner places. Room is a bit small, but this hotel is located in the ancient city, so it is understandable. There is construction going on at the main street outside the hotel, so you have to pull your luggage across a few alleys. Breakfast not included.

Great location close to Erhai Men in a quieter but accessible part of the old town. The room was amazing, really comfortable and a peaceful place to come back to after a day out. Would stay again!

From the very moment we entered the place we just felt like this is a home away from home. We received a very warm welcome then a free afternoon tea plus free fruits pretty much anytime. The bedroom was cozy with a nice mattress and beddings. They even prepared a foot bath at evening with a nice warm sweet soup dessert. The breakfast was great, once again can't mention enough about the lakeside view while you enjoyed your breakfast. The place has an amazing lakeside view that you can watch sunset sitting outside with a nice cup of coffee or just sitting outside enjoying the sun. A couple of things worth mentioning. We had a small medical emergency and the owner actually drove me to a nearby pharmacy to pickup some medication. They even helped me with my laundry for free. I never seen any owner of a place that willing to walk that extra mile for me. Thanks for having us as your guests and we will definitely recommend your place to all our friends.

Wonderful experience stay at this quiet place. They provide free pick up from train station for 2 nights consecutive stay. Very warm hospitality and friendly host. The host share with us Dali attractions route during our arrival. The place is near to the old town, five mins walking distance. There is steep slope when you walk back to the place. The room is clean and tidy with smart home facility. There are mineral water provided in the room, mini bar in the room also had the mineral water and cold drinks. There are delicious afternoon tea, flower biscuit, night dessert and rice noodles for breakfast. Forgot to take picture of breakfast. The tea and coffee are really good. Highly recommend this place if you come to Dali.

Would Highly recommend this hotel. Free shuttle service from and to the Airport was offered. Check in was easy. We had fresh fruit in the room upon arrival. Had wine and soup brought to our room every night. Can easily request for anything via WeChat (as we don't understand Chinese) The resort is lovely. Really feels like we're in Greece and some lovely photo spots. There are some good restaurants in the vicinity as well. It's an hour drive to city centre but a good location for couples to relax.

So far Atour hotels were the best in my China trip. The room was very large and fancy looking, and had everything I needed, from a very comfortable bed, to a minibar full of bottles of water, coke, cold tea and some snacks, as well as tea and coffee for hot brewing (all included and replenished daily). The location is fantastic in my opinion. just a couple minutes walking distance from the no. 4 bus stop (from the train station, though I do not suggest it since it has like 35 stops along the way), as well as 5 minutes walk from the ancient city. got a small supermarket across the alley with a nice old lady that treated me to a baked cookie of some sort. 3 minutes walk down from the parking lot there's places where you can rent e-scooters if you're into road trips in Dali (and you should be). Also quite close to the Cangshan main Cableway. Breakfast was not the most fancy I've seen, but still had everything, was fresh and tasty. eggs, bacon, salad, croissants, fresh salad(!) and a variety of Chinese foods. 4/5 for Facility because yet again, no working AC (probably by design). This time around it was actually not hot at all in my room so it was okay but I'd still like for some air circulation and there was none. If you're not into Inns and want a quality quiet stay close to everything, look no further.

The location is excellent in the ancient city, facing Erhai Lake, and the service staff will come out to pick you up. It is very convenient to eat and drink in the ancient city. The homestay has a net beauty style, and every place has its own characteristics and is very comfortable. The room is clean and distinctive, facing Erhai Lake, and every corner of the room can be seen. The dining is excellent. Since I checked in at night, the homestay housekeeper Liu Jin also specially helped me leave a portion of afternoon tea in the refrigerator. Tremella soup was also delivered in the evening. The breakfast is very rich and also has local characteristics. The housekeeper Liu Jin's service is very good. He started to confirm the itinerary before checking in, and gave warm reminders. After checking in, he would also care about the stay experience at any time.

My wife and I were traveling to Yunnan province for the mid autumn festival from America, it was our first time there and we spent two nights at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, they gave us wonderful afternoon tea and served breakfast. We loved the aesthetics and the hotel is located in an excellent area. 5/5 Jikuo Mijing garden hotel is the perfect place to stay for a comfortable adventure to Dali.

The front staff are helpful. The room mattresses are so far the best in our recent trips to China. General manager miss Wendy is very friendly and accommodating. Great!

A new property. Friendly & cheerful service staff. Very accommodating. Hotel is 6 minutes walk along the main road to the Old Town. I stayed on the 3rd floor, no lift. The sitting area by the window give a nice feel. But if you have problems with stairs, make sure to request for room on level 1. Nice room with good facilities. Comfortable bed is a plus. Highly recommended.
