The apartment is in a convenient location and the facilities are good for families, especially the playground and the infinity pool with a great sea view. The beds are comfortable and the 2-bedroom layout is suitable for small families.
However, the cleanliness was disappointing. The apartment wasn’t properly cleaned and we saw small cockroaches. There is no washing machine, and the hair dryer is very small and not practical. The Wi-Fi was also quite weak. Although Netflix was provided, it kept loading due to the unstable connection. These issues affected the comfort of our stay.
Overall, the place is okay, but cleanliness and the Wi-Fi connection need to be improved.

The location is very strategic and the room cleanliness is excellent. The facilities provided are sufficient. Breakfast tastes good, but the variety is quite limited.
One downside is that the parking is located on higher floors (levels 7 and 8). The lift system is a bit complicated and the waiting time is quite long. Also, the intercom cannot be used to directly contact the reception; guests need to use their own phones to call the reception.

Location hotel okay, dapat bilik menghadap sungai melaka and kg morten, breakfast available daripada 7am-12pm, teh tarik and nyonya laksa sedap! Swimming pool sangat besar and kids friendly cuma air swimming pool sejuk beku 😂 booked untuk 3hari 2malam and add extra bed for 65per night. Excellent services and staff semua baik and friendly, parking at level 7/8 and naik lif at blok B, so daripada parking boleh turun ke G level untuk tukar lif naik ke bilik.
We stayed at this service apartment for one night and were thoroughly impressed. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making it perfect for our needs. We even used the washing machine to do laundry before heading back to Singapore.
The facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the free parking was a welcome bonus. The car park is newly built, with plenty of space and easy parking, and we appreciated having a dedicated slot.
While it's not the most walkable location, with supermarkets and restaurants a short drive away, it's easy to get around by car. And if you're craving local food, Grad food is a great option!
Overall, we were delighted with our stay and got great value for the price. We'd highly recommend this service apartment and plan to return on our next trip to Malacca.

Had a short Melaka trip and staycation with my partner, so we chose this hotel because its location is its greatest strength. We had a morning walk to Jonker Street (but remember to bring sunglasses, an umbrella or a hat if you're scared of hot weather). And besides the hotel has Dataran Pahlawan to shop for some items if you forget to bring some amenities. The hotel room is quite big, has 2 TVs in the room but we can’t watch due to the poor image is bad. The pool, gym and sauna are working well. Just the breakfast isn't that delicious, and it's recommended to go early because it is overcrowded when it’s late. Overall all the staffs are really welcoming everyone.

good to be back here after a while. but the toilet irritates me. the water stagnates on the floor and cannot flow into the drainage as it should, the beds are not comfortable enough, problems also occurred when i want to empty the water in the bath tub - the scrubber problematic. I was given the room number 1403.

Quite clean if you compare to other similar standard hotels in the area, booked it at a cheap rate so cannot complain much for the price paid…
Soap is somehow 3-in-1…
Wifi was good when I checked in, but got pretty bad when i returned from dinner… not sure what happened… lazy to go down to the reception so just slept early
Overall, it was alright. Location was amazing tho, 10 mins to the nearest mall, heng chicken rice balls across the street :)

Very satisfied. The service at the counter was great, and the staff were very friendly.
The place is close to tourist attractions, which is convenient. There are also many food options nearby, and there is a shopping mall right across the street.

Pristine location, rooms are clean and tidy.
The only drawbacks are, carpark is slightly troublesome although it's in the same building. Have to change lift and walk a a distance. Had to pay RM5 for 24hrs parking though. Reception was short staffed. Only 1 staff was working when we were checking in and out. Had to wait for quite a while for our turn.

The parking lot is behind the hotel. It would be great if they offered valet parking. Luckily, there's a side door from the hotel that leads directly to the parking lot.
The room facilities are quite new and have a strong local flavor. It overlooks the Melaka River cruise, and the view isn't as good as the Dusit Thani Princess next door, which faces the sea. The TV, however, is a bit old-fashioned.
Both the pool and gym are very small, barely better than nothing, but the gym environment is quite good.
Breakfast is served until 10:30 AM. We went at 10 AM, and the breakfast staff were incredibly impatient. I also mentioned this in my subsequent hotel review: if they don't want to serve breakfast guests at 10 AM, they should just say so, rather than making guests face their bad attitudes. Breakfast is à la carte with unlimited ordering. We, as a couple, ordered four dishes plus one dessert. The presentation was terrible; the plates were oily when they were brought out. We were very disappointed with the breakfast.
The front desk service was decent, but it took a while to process the parking ticket when we were leaving. Perhaps the staff weren't very familiar with the operation, or the system was slow.
It's worth staying for one day to experience the Melaka charm, but don't expect much from the hotel's facilities and services.

EEveGFirst time staying at Baba House Hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean with lifts available for every floor. Loved the decorations in the hotel which gives an ideal of what a Baba’s house really looked like. Location was great as it is within walking distance to Jonker Street with its night market & interesting shops around the vicinity. Spoilt for choice as there are numerous Peranakan restaurants nearby as well as cafes, local delights and chendol.
Many shops selling Malacca local products are also within walking distance. Will definitely be back!

GGuest UserThe environment is very cozy and it’s just 5 mins drive from Freeport.
Pros: Nice environment, beautiful pool, the soundproof is really good, staffs are friendly, bed is comfortable
Cons: The room is not so well cleaned by spotted hair strands on the bed and floor and lizard poop. WiFi is a bit slow but acceptable. Breakfast could be improved.
Overall we enjoyed our stay especially the pool.

AAnonymous UserBooked for family road trip and we really enjoyed our stay with Courtyard Melaka! The amenities within the property were superb, gym was great and pool view was good. We tried both breakfast and dinner buffet and must say that it’s good! The inhouse made satay were excellent and the selections for both meals had us eating non stop.
Some complains that we had were the aircon in the room were lacking, felt very warm despite setting it to the lowest, no screencast for the TV, shuttle bus timings were slightly limited.
The birthday set up was great along with the cake delivered after checking in which was thoughtful.
The location is pretty ideal, away from the city centre (where noise is) yet close enough for a short drive. It’s quiet throughout the day yet seems to have high occupancy.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would return if we are in Melaka.
LLewis WilliamLisbon Management,
I'm writing about my recent stay at your hotel with my family. I was disappointed with the Front desk customer service.
I experienced unprofessional customer service and issues with my room booking. The staff was unable to handle customers questions and solve at moment situation and issues. There were errors with my room assignment.
Specifically, My room booking was confirmed by Trip.com for 1 × prestigious room with 2× Queen bed for 4 pax. Upon check in I showed my booking reference to front Desk staff and she started to process my entry and read back to me as I have booked for 1 × king bed and do I need an extra single to add on. I showed my booking reference again and told her to look at my booking carefully its for 4 pax and not 2 pax prestigious room. Then she took awhile to understand and realised there was an error in the Hotel room booking management systen and did not want to admit the system error. Customer service staff mentioned they have over sold out all the prestigious 2 × Queen bed and the only choice I have was to accept the 1 × king room with added single bed. I ask the customer service will the single bed have the equalent comfort bcos the next day I got to drive a long distance and assured ill get the best comfort but ended having sleepless night with body & back pain and the added on bed was so hard like sleeping on a hard surface..
**Ordered inhouse cafeteria food arrived 45min later.
**4pax to a room only given 2 towels & 2 sets of toiletries. Called Room Service & frontdesk no response and then I got to walk all the way from my room to front Desk and ask for why there was insufficient items in my room and why there was no response to my call.
^** I hope you can address this to improve guest experiences.
and manage a excellent customer service for the betterment of the hotel & guest.
Sincerely,
Lewis William
