The hotel is exactly as it promises, and as soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by a strong smell of candle, which I personally do not regret, because it gives me the impression that the room was cleaned carefully. The rooms and bathrooms are perfectly suited for a short stay, clean and medium-sized. I have not found the noise I read in some reviews, I have sleeped more than well. The hotel is very central, literally close to everything, restaurants, bars, pharmacies, station. The hotel is a very good hotel, and it is a good hotel for you to stay here.

Charming hotel in the city centre. Easy to reach from the highway, secure underground parking on site and very central to walk to bars, shops and restaurants. Very clean and well maintained. Historical character but modern bathrooms and great air conditioning. Good value. No drawbacks or ******* whatsoever. For us this was an overnight stay before catching an early morning ferry in Livorno and we would definitely stay here again next time we go to Livorno. A bonus was getting to visit the Vespa/Piaggio museum in Pontedera.

One night stopover, made very welcome by signora. Comfortable room with refreshed shower room. The hotel is full of paintings and (especially) portraits of La Signora - done, we think, by her husband. Not a touristy hotel, but full of character and charm, seemingly frequented by regulars. We would definitely return if our trip permitted.
