Shah Alam Hostels

Im so glad to choose this hotel during my brief stay. The staff are polite and helpful. The tea-time buffet spread is so extensive. Food is nice. Room is clean and well-maintained. I'm definitely coming back to this hotel. Attached pic is the view from my room. Thank you.

Hotel is under construction, best avoid for anyone with dust allergies. Rooms are dated. Hallway had roaches and in room ants. Bath tub is always clogged and room had noises in them like someone throwing paper around in aircond vent all day long. Bed sheet had blood stains that was never changed eventhough 3 days in a row the card was put on the pillow to change it but it was never changed.

The service was so good. The check-in was so easy and quicked. The room also so nice and big. We got the nice view also.

Mercure Glennmarie is one of my favourite hotel whenever I'm on biz travel to KL. Everything was fine. Besides, some improvements are needed as listed below. 1. For the bathroom without the partition, the water mostly may covered half of the floor. This is hazardous and slippery. I fell once when walking with slipper into the wet bathroom. Hope the management can consider putting an anti slip mat in front of the basin. 2. The crew in the breakfast area seem to be talking too loud and making joke with each others during the service. It seem to be lack of professionalism in their roles. More strict discipline enforcement are required. Others area are perfect. Keep up with a good works.

Overall, we had a great experience with the DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam branch, staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and modern. The hotel near Central i-City mall, a short walk from i-City Theme Park, WaterWorld, and SnoWalk. My kid has a very enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early before 3pm. So this was a big plus. Tosca Italian Trattoria sevice was excellent, a big thanks to Mr. Fareez the outlet Manager for the wonderful great service to us, family and i had a great time there. Would definitely big recommend friends there.

Quick short stay with great offers..room is spacious and neat..comfortably bed for a quality sleep throughout the night..i never have doubts staying here and coming back again because of the good hospitality from the hotel

Big room. Nice view. TV no signal. Call for technician but never come. Bathroom using frosted glass, not suitable for family. Not include prayer mat. Breakfast, no pastry.

Honest review here - first of all the service of the workers is good and helpful so i rate 5 starts for their service but really had to say the hotel is quite old and the sofa is not really clean , can see many dusk inside the rotan sofa. Beside the shower room is not really clean as the shower head have obvious black stain which we not sure what was this as a four star hotel the amenities they provided have comb however I saw hair in the new comb plastic so I didn’t use it. Cleanliness and environment should be improve but had to thumbs up to the worker there really helpful and nice. And extra , breakfast is not bad as well.

1. 2 Connecting rooms booked but 1 room was not ready. Receptionist couldnt solve the problem fast. they asked me to wait.. Wait.. Wait.. Couldn't tell me when the room can be ready. I made a complaint to trip.com then only the room ready at 8pm, compensation was where I can check out late at 6pm but for 1 room. 2. Cleanliness of the room poor where it has dirty stain on the bathroom sitting area. 3. Broken bathtub 4. Not enough towel provided for swimming use. 5. Breakfast choices limited. No proper coffee machine in this so call 5 star hotel. Goods 1. Good lunch at Charcoal restaurant. Staffs friendly. Good foods. 2. Atmosphere good with beautiful plants, lake. Conclusion : will not stay again. Not worth.
