Best Kuala Lumpur Spa Hotels

Staycation one night with my small family (1 toddler & 1 baby). Check in was very late process about 20 minutes by the receptionist. Entered the room (no.337) and feel eerie / goosebumps with the room itself as i found big whole garlic behind TV cabinet. The bedsheet was slightly dirty with blood stained. Around 12.15 a.m., there’s sound made at TV area and kids became so tantrum. Breakfast was good and pool also was nice with not so cold water for kids but slightly dirty. Regretful to stay here as I thought it will be enjoyable trip due to celebrating my confinement ended and to make my toodler happy with this short trip. This hotel requires a major revamp of renovation and maintenance for hotel sustainability in the future as it has wise location for tourist spot!

Excellent room and breakfast experience It was a delightful experience. The room was clean, and offered a stunning view of the city. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, featuring a diverse selection of both western and Chinese dishes. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We really enjoyed the swimming pool. Definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

It was a memorable short-stay experience in the Parkroyal Collection Kuala Lumpur. The location is superb; the hotel is just opposite Sungai Wang Plaza shopping mall and nearby to bukit bintang attractions. I am thankful to the reception staff for allowing us an early check-in at 12.30pm so that we could keep our luggage in the room to get our lunch. The hotel lobby is spacious, and the hotel staff were very helpful. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The food during breakfast was variety and tastes good too. Kudos to the hotel staff for being able to fulfill my special request for my friend's birthday arrangement. They put the decorations up and even extended us a chocolate birthday cake. We will definitely come back.

We like to improved your hotel to be nice room We are staying for 3nights about cleanest is not bad but the room condition very bad …when we check in the room nice but have few defects bath room door and bed flame is broken room 430

The whole experience with the hotel was horrible. Strong chemical smell in the room, window can’t open and the bathroom floods every time we bath! The lobby is new and shiny but the room is old and tired. When we entered the room, we found a note saying that the hotel is currently under renovation. If we knew it before we book, we would never choose this hotel! The aircon from the room smells horrible, full of chemical smell. To the point that the next day when we woke up, we had severe headache, teary eyes, itchy throat and very bad nausea. The shower floods after every single bath, the water got all over the bathroom floor, dripped all the way to the sink and toilet area. I almost fell down 2 times after walking out from the shower! I can’t imagine if it was an elserly guest living in this room who didn’t have a quick reflex on a slippery floor then what could have happened! (See pictures for flooded floor) When we complained to the front desk and asked to change to another room, the lady staff told us no room available despite when I checked on trip for the exact same room there are still rooms available (see pictures for room available on dates selected). She promised to ask the cleaner to help us open the window, put some air fresheners and a humidifier machine in our room to deal with the smell. We went out for the day and when we came back, nothing changed! Window still can’t open, room still smells horrible and no air fresheners or any machine to help. It was so severe that we had to open the main door for some air and turn off the aircon. We got trip to call them to ask for room change, hotel still refused! We immediately checked out the next day despite still having 2 more nights at the hotel. We got charged 50rm as tourism tax for all 5 booking nights despite early checkout. When I asked why I got charged the tax for 5 nights, the staff just said I have to contact Trip to ask! Hello! This tax charge is from your country and you have the responsibility to explain it! Very irresponsible reply and poor management, not expected from a 5-star hotel! I will never recommend this hotel!

Photos by the establishments depict room interiors and the Exec Lounge quite accurately. Breakfast spread came in a wide variety of dishes, but be warned that Shook fills up very quickly during peak time-slots (guests had to queue up for a table!). Despite the staff's attempt to organize the crowd better by assigning specific tables to guests, another hotel guest took my table while I was walking around the food stations. Perhaps an unmistakable ”RESERVED”/”TAKEN”/”I HAVE LEFT” sign will be helpful. While the Shook team is working hard to clear tables quickly (the queue at the entrance is lengthening), I notice they were often looking at tables with food remnants, wondering if the guests have left or are the guests still wandering around the food stations taking more food. Guests who had lounge access can also choose to have their breakfast at the Exec Lounge, but I was informed by the lounge staff that the variety of the dishes will not be the full extent of those available at Shook. For the guestroom's TV, I was taken aback to find that a hotel of JW Marriott's stature offers only 14 channels for viewing, of which, 5 international channels were unviewable. I tried to clarify with the hotel staff on this, and they sent a technician over to take a look. The first technician told me this is simply how the hotel set it to be, but later he summoned his supervisor, who fixed a loose cable connection and revived access to the international channels. The supervisor maintained apologetically that the number of TV channels are indeed limited to these, but thoughtfully suggested I can access Youtube on the TV for more content. Not a big issue but all three technicians who entered my guestroom didn't think to remove their boots when walking around the carpeted area... even though I have removed my footwear. :(

I always stay at this hotel whenever im in kl. It’s my go to hotel. Location is convenient . As always the hotel room is clean and bed is comfortable . Hotel staffs are friendly and kind. They even upgraded me on this stay. It was a nice gesture of them as I’m always back to the same hotel. Will definitely come back again.

Freaking Amazing hotel! The apartment was ridiculous huge and spacious. Everything was clean and comfortable. From the point you exit your car/ride, you already feel the hospitality at the top notch. Nice pool but a little small, Amazing free mocktails in the evening. All the staffs were helpful and polite! Only down side is the unfriendly placement of charging point in the apartment

First, kind enough to early check in the process first so that we can get the key later faster. Secondly, helpful enough to upgrade my room. Thirdly, never charge me on printing my flight tickets. Overall, very welcoming experience and great location. My view from my room.
