Palazzo Scotto was a gem for experiencing a stay in a Trullo. The cost was very fair and the experience was unique. I stayed 2 nights at Palazzo Scotto at the Trullo unit. The space was so lovely with a couch, a dining table, a separate bedroom and an en-suite bathroom. There was a little lovely peaceful and quiet courtyard outside my unit where I had my breakfast. Palazzo Scotto also had a tiny elevator to go from the front desk which Is the lower level to my room at the street level. Everything was so lovely. The service from Valerio, the owner, was amazing. Valerio arranged all my private transfers from Bari airport pickup to a day trip to Matera and transfer to Monopoli. The transfer service that Valerio arranged was outstanding. All communication with the front desk including Valerio was conveniently through WhatsApp. When I did not see the pickup at Bari airport, I contacted Valerio through WhatsApp and I received the status on the spot. Breakfast order was placed the night before through the hotel link. I enjoyed my breakfast very much, sitting at the lovely garden. The location is unbeatable. Palazzo Scotto is right in the town, very close to the cathedral and within a pleasant short walk to historic Trulli. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The unit was very clean, quiet and airy. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable. I had a wonderful and memorable stay. I recommend to stay at the Trullo unit.
