The grounds and ****** were very nice. However, the music in the ****** was just a bit too loud. Heard someone else complain about that too. The hotel room was quiet, spotless, and absolutely beautiful. Nice touches all around.

We booked a King suite for 2 adults and 1 child and were put in the “Tower” area Rm#391 of the Hotel. The parking lot for this area sits behind a vacant commercial building that has some sketchy looking people hanging around, Drugs? ************? Homeless? were our first thoughts, the chain link fence that divides the properties is leaning over in spots giving the appearance that it has been climbed over several times and there appeared to be several vagrants in the area on the streets. We booked here for the use of the hottub which was not working and was told that the jets quit working the night before, which I have my doubts as this property is in desperate need of attention from the maintenance department. The outdoor lock of the tower building that you need your key card to enter is damaged and loosly hanging on the wall and the key card would not open it. Upon not being able to enter and reporting to the front desk they were already aware and said that it can be very temperamental. So we had to enter through the lobby and walk through “the maze” to get to our room. The walls throughout the property have several areas that need attention to cover the damaged paint that lend to the appearance of an old, tired, run down hotel. The sheets on the bed appeared clean. But the room itself needs attention. The bathroom ceiling was badly water damaged with pieces hanging down that was covered up with paint and deep scratches on the wall above the toilet. The corners of the floor in the bathroom need attention as they are collecting dirt and debris. The carpet in the bedroom is very old, loose and rippled creating a tripping hazard. The window sheers had two large vertical tears and several burn holes. The wall paper is separating in several areas and peeling away from the wall most notably in the upper corner of the bedroom. There were no visible outlets or charging stations near the bed. While searching for an outlet for my husband’s bi-pap machine we accidentally pulled the the very heavy oversized headboard off the wall thinking it would move with the bed. The headboard was only attached with two small screws that were easily pulled out of the wall. We immediately called the front desk to alert them of the accident. (Apparantly we’re not getting back the $100 deposit) The kitchenette area of the suite has very worn out cabinets, the vinyl flooring sounded and felt sticky when walking on it. There was a table in the suite but no chairs to sit at. There was no bedding or pillows in the closet for the sofa bed (we fell asleep and our 17yo daughter didn’t realize she could open the sofa bed even though she was told; but a pillow and bedding in the closet would have helped. Overall very dissapointed with the 1 night accomodations at the “Resort” rate of $463 +$100 deposit. This property appears to be an old Holiday Inn Suites that had some new paint slapped on it and they called it good. Would not recommend this property and will NEVER stay here a

The hotel is near the main road in the city, but the surrounding area feels relatively desolate. Free parking is available at the hotel. The hotel space is closed and relatively safe. The rooms are well-decorated and the facilities are old, but there is no smell. The bathroom is also relatively compact. Generally clean and hygienic, windows can also be opened for ventilation. The sound insulation is not very good and a bit noisy. There is a free breakfast, not many types, but you can eat it. Suitable for passing overnight.

I arrived at the Double Tree late in the afternoon after a long day of exploring. The check in process was pleasant and straightforward. I quickly noticed how clean and well maintained the property was which is always a good thing. I was given a room on one of the upper floors. When I entered my room I was met with a fresh smelling clean room. The bed was maid up well and the bathroom was also well kept. I thoroughly enjoyed the view from my window that overlooked the city. On a scale from 1 to 10, the bed was about a 6. It was a little on the firm side but otherwise still relatively comfortable. The hotel was situated downtown. There was a huge parking lot behind a gated arm at the property. Please expect to pay for parking as downtown parking can be scarce. I had to circle the lot a few times in order to find an empty space. Be advised they do have an overflow lot down the street. The hotel is right above the convention center so it stays pretty busy. There were also many places to eat nearby such as the 505 Central food hall which featured many different dining options. I’d recommend it if you’re with a group of people that have diverse food palettes. Overall I’d stay here again. I rate this property a 3 because it was just what I expected. There was nothing exceptional about it, but it wasn’t bad at all.

My company hosted a four day event from Tuesday, September 20, 2022 to Friday, September 23, 2022. Erika in catering went above and beyond to make our event run as smoothly as possible, doing the job of multiple people. After the AC not working in one of the conference rooms for two days, Erika took the initative to switch our event to a different room with working AC. During the lunch rush in the hotel restaurant, Erika was taking orders, serving drinks, bringing out orders, and busing tables for 30 to 40 people, at times by herself, with no complaints, only apologies for being understaffed. Erika is truly an asset to this hotel, a joy to work with, and always has a smile on her face. On another note, the hotel is shabby. AC didn't work in the Lounge on the club level and at times in my room.

I would like to thank you very much, Lazy girl, who has given us a great help! Because of the cancellation of our flight (the first of four to return to Italy) we risked not to leave; he supported us in the telephone with the airline who found us on a previous flight. GGuest UserA knock on our door at 8pm my wife opened the door to be met by the front desk lady aggressively telling her “multiple complaints about excessive noise and shouting from our room, she had listened at our door and heard screaming and if she got one more complaint we would have to leave the hotel”. I called back down stairs as I was in shock - i thought she must have the wrong room - the only noise was from our perhaps boisterous 6 year old who was watching a kids show on YouTube kids. But she again reiterated “screaming” and that we would be forced to leave. In my opinion I don’t think you could find a quieter family. Certainly the TV would have made more noise. Shocking unbelievably bad customer service - simply asking us to keep the noise down as someone had complained would have been sufficient - but the instant escalation to leave the hotel…..left us feeling very upset. If we disturbed someone at 8pm in the evening, we are truly sorry. The noise insulation seemed good in the hotel - we only heard occasional doors closing and the freeway traffic outside. We had got in from dinner around 7:15pm after a 9 hour drive. After the complaint at 8pm we spent the next 45 mins whispering and stressing that somehow we were going to be put out in the street in a Saturday night in Albuquerque, before going to sleep. Needless to say it was a restless night sleep. As for the hotel, we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express hotel the night before in Fort Worth. So we had a direct compare and contrast. In Albuquerque the shower did not work and there was a problem with the functionality of the blackout shades. The breakfast was a little disappointing as there was only half of the items offered actually available (the sausage and biscuits were great). No yogurts, cinnamon roles, bread for toast. And there was a distinct absence of any staff replenishing food, or cleaning tables etc. Check in was also odd - we had booked a prepaid non cancellation 2 x queen bed room (for our family of 4). Arrived around 5pm. At check in “sorry I don’t have that room, but I do have a king suite with a sofa bed; the hotel is fully booked”. I explained that didn’t work for us, we needed two beds. After some time on the computer the lady said ok, I have a room for you “someone else is going to be disappointed when they check in tonight”. I have no idea what the criteria used to select disappointing a guest were. Overall something just not right with the way this property was running.

GGuest UserI really appreciated the staff , real problem solvers and genuinely nice people. One even helped me find a less expensive place to stay to fit my budget. Complimentary coffee ( varied options) , water dispenser in lobby, and a fantastic very large tv in the bedroom were some draw cards. I could use my Netflix membership easily . I didn’t get the included breakfast as I booked through a third party so explore booking direct . The breakfast sounded good:) . It certainly offers a far nicer ambience than the less expensive place I relocated to . Their Nice carefully picked staff make a big difference. They should all be complimented ! :)

GGuest UserAt first glance this hotel looks pretty good. Attractive entrance, nice looking little bistro on first floor (which unfortunately was closed on a Monday night), modern and inviting. However, once you get into the main part of the hotel, hallway carpeting is worn, decor is outdated, and elevator is small and uninviting. I could have looked past that except that I use a walker and we had a wheelchair on our luggage cart and we were put almost at the far end of the second floor (our fault for not specifically asking for a handicap accessible room, but with the hotel almost empty this shouldn't have happened!). The room itself was fine, beds are comfortable, but again everything looks a little dated. The fabric chair in the room had something black streaked on the one arm, and our bathtub was absolutely disgusting. It literally looked like an ashtray had been dumped in it. On top of that the bathroom is so small the door opens right up onto the toilet. I should have complained and insisted on being moved, but we were only there the one night. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the airport, and walking distance to an Applebee's, so these were positives. My husband used points to book this hotel, so obviously we are frequent Marriott users, so I would have expected better. There are MANY other hotel choices all within a mile radius, so I'd probably pick something else next time!

GGuest UserBella and Sonya made our trip extra special. We went out for the Balloon Fiesta. Folks at the front desk did everything they could to make sure we had a view of the balloons. If you can't see the balloons from your room go to one of the large windows at the end of the corridor near the rooms in the 20's. Try to get one of the rooms that are painted by a local artist.

GGuest UserThe food was grab and go and being allergic to cinnamon and berries breakfast was, an un satisfying piece of fruit and coffee. Not sure why they haven’t changed the breakfast back to the waffles. The front desk staff was nice and friendly and the towels were extremely soft, fluffy and was almost completely un-scented. The pool area was poorly lit and it looked like a good setup for a murder scene. The hot tub only had one jet working but at least the water was hot. I was shocked they had a sauna that actually worked well. The bed frame had blood on it and the mattress cover was dirty, But because the floor didn’t have carpet, the floor was well cleaned.
