"This hotel was fantastic. The retro look and attention to detail in the rooms made this hotel an enjoyable experience. The staff was super friendly, the pool was very nice, and the bed was super comfortable. The price was also fantastic. If you are on the fence about booking, do it, as you won't be disappointed."
"When we got to the hotel for check-in they had freshly baked cookies which were absolutely delicious! That's something we haven't had at any of the other hotels the past 3 weeks so it added a bit of a personal touch. I'm not a coffee or tea drinker so I was glad to see hot chocolate was available at all times. Staff were excellent and the room was good and updated too. The breakfast was good too."
"It's relatively clean for this price. The pillowcases are a bit damp, but the sheets are OK. The bathroom is clean. After the plane arrived at night, I waited for 30 minutes and made two or three phone calls before the hotel came to pick me up, but the drivers I met were very enthusiastic. Breakfast included waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, oats, potatoes, etc., and the taste was good. Overall it was OK."
"Trip.com charged us two breakfast with the stay while we booked the hotel. When we stayed there the hotel staff told us they didn’t offer breakfast without any explanation but told us we could call Trip.com for refund. I called Trip.com and they said they would verify with hotel about it. We haven’t hear anything back from Trip.com yet."
"Value for money hotel, big room, clean and comfortable, good environment. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. There are many varieties of breakfast, and I will choose this hotel next time."
"The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were a bit old and basically the standard of an old American hotel. Mainly close to the hot air balloon, it is more convenient to catch the hot air balloon early the next morning."

Very Good
GGuest UserThe staff were professional and friendly here.
We booked a standard with a king-sized bed.The room at this branch - Albuquerque East did not a funky smell and was clean & had international plugs which was nice. The front desk and everyone was helpful. The breakfast food and staff were all helpful and friendly. Bonus: Our room had a really nice view of the moutains as well.
Had a totally different experience at Holiday Inn Houston East-Channelview. The staff were not friendly and were not helpful either (save for the Bengali lady who was probably the front desk manager). The room had a weird smell. The hotel food at the restaurant was so salty. The breakfast was ok and location was ok. That was only the plus for Houston East Channelview branch.
GGuest UserI really appreciated the staff , real problem solvers and genuinely nice people. One even helped me find a less expensive place to stay to fit my budget. Complimentary coffee ( varied options) , water dispenser in lobby, and a fantastic very large tv in the bedroom were some draw cards. I could use my Netflix membership easily . I didn’t get the included breakfast as I booked through a third party so explore booking direct . The breakfast sounded good:) . It certainly offers a far nicer ambience than the less expensive place I relocated to . Their Nice carefully picked staff make a big difference. They should all be complimented ! :)
JJavier A. RoqueThe customer service was initially great upon check in. Since I have been driving cross country I didn’t really have time to check the details about the parking. When arrived I was told parking was booked and I told I could Park in the side street between the convenient store and the hotel. My car got broken into that night or early morning. Now the staff was good at that moment letting me use the room a little longer to figure out what to do and make sure the police report was good a ect. They had a camera on that street facing my car. This is were the customer service falls. Its been over a week of me ask and calling to request the video footage of the incident and I keep getting pushed to the side. Apparently no one know the situation with me getting the footage but the manager and the so called security team thats in charge with the videos footage. I have sent an email requesting it and have not received nothing. No call back in regards to the video footage. This is highly unprofessional when a customer had their vehicle broken into when staying on their property. I should have gotten the footage at least a day or two after the incident but a full week is crazy and i have to wait for a manager to be on site on Tuesday to get my situation resolved! Unprofessional and unacceptable.
GGuest UserWe booked a KING room, paid for it and received confirmation. Only after checking in and going to our room did we find out it was 2 double beds. When my husband went to switch rooms, one person at the desk said the kings were all booked and the other person at the desk said there was a remodel and there were not any King beds. I don't know which is true. Clearly they were not interested in helping us at all and since we had already unloaded all of our luggage we stayed there anyway. BEWARE that what you book may not be what you get and at the facility and that was not explained anywhere.
AAnonymous UserThe room is large, the refrigerator microwave is very convenient, and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom has a jacuzzi to relax. The front desk service was very friendly and kind, offering consultations.
AAecoThe staff at the counter had a good attitude. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom when I checked in. The equipment was replaced after notification. The equipment was a bit old. There were vagrant activities near the hotel. I was worried about the house, but it was still safe.
GGuest UserThe room that I stade the air conditioner made aloud noise when running. The hotel was out darted it is in need of a face lift. The hotel staff will not change your linen or do anything in your room if you are booked in for a week. They if you want clean sheets or tiles you have to bring them to the office and exchange them. If you have a stain of on them they are going to change you$25.00 per item even a face or hand towel. I thought that was crazy. I left a day earlier than when I was supposed to. I did take a video of the room. I just have figure how to up load it
MMike and Lea KlattThe best part of this hotel is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. I had a terrible time with the keys. The very first time I checked in I went to my room and came right back to the counter three times because the keys would not work. Other than being a little frustrating that was no big deal. However in my first room, the TV did not work. Also, I could never get in to the side door and always had to walk around. Was this a terrible place to stay? Noooo… but don’t expect much.
