Amoun Hotel

Arrived at the hotel at night and found no quilt in the room. The bedsheets were clean. There was an acrylic blanket on the bed without a quilt cover. The front desk notified the waiter to come and tell me that it was covered with this blanket. There was no quilt cover. Speechless😓After negotiation, he brought me a thicker towel blanket. I saw that it was stained and obviously had not been washed for a long time. I could only ask him to bring another bed sheet. As a result, he brought me a bed sheet from another bed. After negotiating with him, he changed a new bed sheet. It was still cold when sleeping at night. I couldn’t take out the blanket I bought in Luxor. The hotel occupies a good location and it can be seen that it was once glorious, but the equipment is quite old and not well managed. It takes some courage to check in.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I've been to so many cities in Egypt, but this hotel is the worst. The air conditioner doesn't work. I called and they said they'd come up in five minutes, but they didn't care. The front desk discriminated against Chinese people. They refused to communicate because of the check-in reason. They were whispering to another front desk and I don't know what they were laughing about. The power outage in the hotel is always tripping. Suddenly, there was no electricity. I stayed for three days and it tripped three or four times. The TV in the room next to me never stopped. I could hear it clearly. There was noise until two in the morning every day next to the street. The price doesn't match the service at all. The front desk is the most disgusting. He has a sour face as if someone owes him tens of thousands. I never write bad reviews, but this hotel deserves all the bad reviews. I've never stayed in such a bad hotel. I don't know how many times the air conditioner broke down. It's too bad.

1. The hotel is in a good location, about a 10-minute walk from the seaside. There is a vegetable market in the alley on the right when you go out, with fruits, vegetables, and pastries! On the left hand side all the way to the beach is a small commodity street, selling everything! 2. I booked a king-size bed room and was given a double bed in the end. The overall room was quite large and even had a small balcony! 3. There are no disposable slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, but there are shower gel and shampoo (but they don’t look easy to use, so it is recommended to bring your own). There are also 3 towels, and the hair dryer can also be used normally! 4. Don’t rush to take a shower when you first move in. The water heater may have just started to boil water, and you need to wait until the water boiling light goes out before using it. I didn’t know it at first, but there was no hot water just after washing for a while, and I froze to death! 5. There are no quilts in this hotel, only two thick blankets are provided, the air conditioner is broken, and the safe is also broken (there are some with valuables and cash, it is best to carry them with you) 6. Without daily cleaning, it will look the same when I come back! 7. Rooms facing the street are very noisy! You can stay there from 7pm to 2am. If you are a light sleeper, it is best not to get a room facing the street.

It was very clean and the room was spacious. It's facing the main street so it's not hard to find.
