My husband decided we needed a hotel while visiting our daughter because her house is too cold and sleeping on an air mattress just doesn’t do it for him. This place is a 5 to 10 minute walk from her house. It is a very large, nice hotel. My husband received excellent customer service when he checked in. We have a very nice room with lots of space, large closet, slippers, robes, a great shower, hot water, small fridge, coffee maker and safe. I am certainly enjoying this room. Staff has been very nice. There is a bar downstairs. There is also 2 water bottle filing stations by the elevator. You cannot fill large water bottles but it has been very nice for me to have. I really have appreciated this. It is not in the main city center but is easy enough to get there with transportation or about a 40 minute walk each way depending on where you are going. I would stay here again. Also good restaurants around the area.

Je fréquente cet hôtel depuis une quinzaine d'années et j'ai pu constater la hausse constante du prix de la chambre en gris, le prix a doublé. La qualité de l'hébergement quant au confort de la chambre n'a pas baissé. Seul le fabuleux petit-déjeuner (lorsque le Mercure s'appelait Ramada Plaza) a fait place à un petit-déjeuner de type Ibis ou Formule Un tout en conservant le prix exorbitant d'origine. Le restaurant de l'hôtel propose une carte tout à fait acceptable et des prix abordables.
L'hôtel vient d'adopter une politique d'économie qui se veut écologique, qui consiste à proposer à ses clients de ne pas faire nettoyer er ranger la chambre contre un coupon de 5€ par nuit à faire valoir sur un repas pris à l'hôtel. Sur les trois nuits passées à l'hôtel, j'ai ainsi obtenu un coupon (pourquoi un seul?). Remarquez que l'hôtel fait ainsi l'économie d'une ou deux bouteilles d'eau normalement fournie(s) quotidiennement pour le prix de la chambre. En résumé, un excellent hôtel plein de potentiel.

The rooms and the public areas were all nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and there was hot water in the bathroom and there is a shower over the bath that was OK. The bar staff were polite and keen to please. Having arrived in the early evening we tried the food from the restaurant and it was very good, well cooked and reasonable portions. During our 3 night stay we had meals in the bar, the restaurant and out on the terrace, all very enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was adequate but basic. All in all we would be more than happy to stay here again. The only minor point is the fact that the rooms and corridors are quite dark.

I was on a Leger Battlefield tour, the group stayed here for 1 night breaking the journey to Bremen Germany and 1 night on the return to the UK. Comfortable room and bed, clean and tidy. Decent shower. The breakfast was good , I didn't have any other meals . A good hotel to spend a night.
