The hotel is an ancient building dating back to 1238. Now it has been converted into a hotel with greenery inside. The service is super. The room is a bit small because it is an ancient building. This is a beautiful place. It even smells good. It is somewhat centrally located depending on what you want to do (we came for a concert so some other hotels might have been closer). They are a 5 star and I believe most of the services are high quality. We especially liked the front desk staff. The rooms are small but don’t “feel” too small (normal Europe small certainly larger than the average Parisian hotel for example). We went for our anniversary and they added a special touch to the room. We would have liked to dine at one of the Michelin restaurants but there’s no real relationship with the hotel so there aren’t any special arrangements that can be made. It all worked out though as we ended up getting a last minute slot at Zilte and that worked maybe better for our diet. I think this is probably the nicest most unique hotel in Antwerp and I would PROBABLY stay there again (it’s not that pricey in my opinion as it’s essentially a resort and is on par with a resort price wise). My one hesitation is the less than stellar communication from the email address. I live abroad so calling is difficult so it would be nice if queries could be answered (only half of my communications were noted, including one I’m still waiting for a response from about a (very large) mystery charge).

Hotel Botanique is rustig gelegen, maar toch dicht bij het centrum. De kamers zijn netjes en comfortabel, en het personeel is vriendelijk. Het ontbijt kon iets uitgebreider, maar verder een absolute aanrader voor een ontspannen verblijf!

Außergewöhnlich Hideaway in zentraler Lage der Altstadt von Antwerpen. Im Botanic Sanctuary ist es beeindruckend gelungen, den Charme der historischem Gebäude zu bewahren und doch den modernsten Anforderungen anzupassen. Ein großzügiger gut ausgestatteter Fitnessraum, beste Kulinarik und äußerst freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter komplettieren das Hotelerlebnis. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön, großzügig und extrem gemütlich; die Mitarbeiter überall absolut charmante, aufmerksame, zuvorkommende und herzliche. Danke an alle! Der Pool- und Fitnessbereich ist sehr schön und bietet eine tolle Aussicht. Das gym ist voll ausgestattetes gym; ein komplettes Training ist hier gut möglich. Freihanteln bis 30 kg.

El hotel es Maravilloso, todo está bien pensado y aparte de lindo es acogedor y práctico. Muy cómodo y un servicio de primer nivel, realmente un hotel de 5* y para quienes conocían bien la región me confirmaron que es el mejor hotel de Bélgica. Muy buenos los salones de eventos y muy bien aprovechada la capilla donde tambien se puede organizar algo especial. El desayuno muy variado y rico. El personal muy eficiente y amoroso. Es un 10 en todo sentido, destacando también su ubicación.
