There are breakfast and dinner, and food is OK. The surrounding environment of the hotel is better, there are more small animals and some insects. The pool is open-air and there are more bugs inside. Welcome service is more distinctive, you can take a look.

Amazing property and very hospitable staff. Would definitely recommend this place. The dining experience was also great as well as the pool area. There is a lake very close by to the hotel and it is a nice walk to see birds. The rooms were above average size, with all the amenities you would expect in a 5* resort, the entire property is super clean especially considering the property is surrounded by wilderness. Special thanks to: Dileesha - Always very helpful and the most smiley person ever! Deepal- Thank you for taking care of our food orders and recommending dishes that were suitable for us. Pradeep - The Master chef in the property who cooked the most amazing meals and came to personally visit each table to make sure we were enjoying our food. Perfect luxury boutique property in the most peaceful location. Fantastic rooms, food and service. Great to be able to use bikes to get around. We took part in the cookery demonstration which was great fun. Great to meet Katharina in the Elephant Research Centre and find out about the local Elephants and wildlife in the area as well as the really important sustainability measures used and how this hotel works closely with the local families too. We also did the village cycle ride and scenic drive around Nachchaduwa, topped off with sundowners over the lake - fantastic memories made. A perfect stay - thank you.

The hotel rooms are basically two-story wooden detached houses with a very good environment, just like in the forest. The staff is very welcoming, the hotel facilities are great, the pool is beautiful, the buffet breakfast and dinner are plentiful. It's not too far to live here after watching Lion Rock.

Not bad, breakfast is OK, the room is a bit old

The hotel is located in Anuradhapura, with beautiful pagoda ruins visible across a large lake. The environment of the hotel is quite beautiful, and the swimming pool is also very good. The supply of buffet breakfast is not stable. We stayed for 4 nights in a row. Breakfast was buffet breakfast on two days and set meal on two days. The explanation given by the hotel was that the buffet breakfast was not open because the tour bus had left and there were too few people. Anyway, it’s quite interesting to have a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. Picture 1 is the set breakfast we had (the portions were huge), and Pictures 2 and 3 are the buffet breakfast.

We had a great 2 night stay at Milano Rest. The hotel has a retro Cuban vibe, and the rooms were nice and well arranged. The service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly helpful and accomodating about meals, organised a very reasonably-priced tuk tuk and tour of Anuradhapura and Mihintale, and generally ensured our stay was fantastic. Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay at the  ivy lake. We was welcomed by a very friendly receptionist who helped carry our babys pushchair to the guest room. The rooms was very spacious and excellent for the price we paid. The aircon was free, great water pressure in the shower and free shampoo and body wash. The comfort of the bed was better than mine at home. I was a little worried about other reporting bugs and mosquitos, but there was only a few, which is expected in a tropical country.   We had a delicious breakfast in their outdoor coffee shop and dinner after we visited the temples. They have a great outdoor coffee shop with a variety of drinks and food. We wanted to stay another day, but they was full, but we will return next year. Thank you for everything
