Hotel has a beautiful view that’s all it has going for it. Checked in around 8:00/8:30pm late enough, we were starving the Hotel restaurant/manager would not accommodate us. He said the restaurant was full I walked right in and counted 20 empty seats.
Breakfast was worse you walk in to a woman vacuuming and the cord across your pathway.
No one in the dining room directing/helping guests at all. Totally unorganized.

Hotel très bien placé, face à la mer, à côté du musée du débarquement, hoel rénové, chambre agréable par la décoration sobre et actuelle. Très bonne literie. La personne de l accueil est très agréable et professionnelle. Petit déjeuner assez copieux. Ravie de ce sejour

J‘irai revoir ma Normandie! La Marine!
L‘hôtel que nous recherchions devait être authentique par rapport aux événements ayant eu lieu ici en juin1944. Il l‘est!
Et puis, on cherche toujours un service impeccable. Il l‘est dans l‘hôtel, comme (et surtout) au restaurant.L‘équipe y est d‘une efficacité et d‘une gentillesse remarquables. Surtout Thierry et David se surpassent pour honorer tous les désirs et besoins des clients. Chapeau! Et merci!

Hotel impeccable. Refait a neuf et decore en 2024. Idealement situé sur la plage d'Arromanches ( Gold Beach ) Tres belle chambre, notamment la notre avec 3 fenetres avec vue mer. Petit dejeuner tres bien. Restaurant face a la mer, bonne carte, tres bonne qualite ( un tout petit peu cher .. ) Accueil et personnel impec. A refaire !!

Room was very updated. Great location. Had a fantastic room above the restaurant looking out at the English Channel. Quite a few cobwebs/spiders surrounding the windows, but those things exist. Was really neat seeing the left over effects from WWII. Did not eat at the attached restaurant as daily activities had us moving around outside their hours; seemed to have a good amount of patronage, very good view overlooking the water and main square.

Je recommande vivement l'Hôtel de la Marine, situé à Arromanches-les-Bains. Cet établissement bénéficie d'un emplacement exceptionnel en front de mer, offrant une vue imprenable sur Golden Beach. C'est l'endroit idéal pour admirer de superbes couchers de soleil dans un cadre paisible et relaxant. De plus, il est parfaitement situé pour visiter les plages du débarquement. L'accueil y est très bon, rendant le séjour encore plus agréable.

Me and my dad stayed in separate rooms the rooms both had lovely views over the mulberry harbour couldn’t have wished for a better location Staff were friendly and spoke good English Beds were comfy and the rooms were modern Only issues were the lack of tea and coffee facilities And the breakfast was poor value for money Food was fine but for the price bacon and sausages would have been nice ( local apple juice amazing though ! ) Overall I would recommend this place

Ça commence par un mail de l’hôtel qui nous dit en août que la chambre vue sur mer réservée en juillet pour notre séjour en septembre sera finalement en rdc côté rue… Arrivé dans la chambre , on sent bien qu’elle n’a pas vu le soleil depuis un bail. On essaie d’ouvrir la fenêtre pour aérer , on ne réussit à en ouvrir que la moitié… La vue est splendide , sur un horrible mur à 2,5 mètres juste en face. Pas de bouilloire, pas de bouteille d’eau. 1 seul oreiller par personne et un lit ramollo. La douche avec un rideau horrible, qu’on se demande si c’est encore possible de nos jours. La nuit commence, on est réveillé toutes les 10 minutes par des bips ultra sonores, on comprendra le lendemain matin que c’est le digicode de l’entrée de l’hôtel d’en face. Dès 6h45, réveil en fanfare par un barouf pas possible au dessus de nos têtes. Petit déjeuner dont la principale qualité est la vue sur mer. Au moment de partir, on règle la nuit sans que la patronne ne nous demande si ça a été …. Heureusement, sinon on aurait dit ce qu’on en pensait, et du coup, on serait parti fâché. Bref on reviendra à Arromanche, mais pas dans cet hôtel, ça c’est sûr.
