Hotels in Kolonaki, Athens

Everything was perfect, but I don't quite understand why they don't replenish the water for a two-night stay. That's really unfair for people staying multiple days.

Pay such a price for a good room and location… it’s justified. Walking distance to lots of tourist spots plus restaurants. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. It’s a nice stay and highly recommended. One comment… the seamless shower point gave us much stress that the whole toilet get wet after shower. I hope the hotel will look into it.

Firstly I booked this hotel and then noticed the breakfast was served in a breakfast box. I didn’t want this so asked the hotel to cancel and we go elsewhere but they didn’t comply - fair enough as it was prepaid rate with no cancellation. the breakfast we tried the first day and it wasn’t for us - boiled eggs, ham, cheese etc so we didn’t order it for the rest of the stay. Some really good coffee places nearby within 2 min walk. There is a techno club literally under the hotel so Friday and Saturdays from around 5am - 2pm the next day the bass ….we could feel it on the 4th floor. We ran out of toilet paper on one occasion and the reception told us they had ran out and I had to go and buy my own - strange for a 4 star hotel. The area is sketchy, we didn’t mind the walk but next time I would stay in another area. Around 30 mins walk into the centre or there was bus’ but we didn’t use. Sometimes we would rent a car, wouldn’t of felt comfortable leaving in this area. Overall I think the hotel make the best of the location they have, rooms are nice and clean - but wouldn’t stay here again based on the noise and the area. Photo from the balcony of the loft room.

Stayed solo at the St George Lycabettus and loved it. The hilltop location is something else — stunning views over Athens day and night, and Kolonaki right on the doorstep for evening dining and drinks. Staff were warm and attentive throughout. The pool was a great daytime retreat from the heat. A characterful, well-positioned hotel that really gets the Athens atmosphere right.

I was truly impressed by the design during my stay at the Conrad. The public areas feature clean lines and a premium feel, and the room layout is comfortable and spacious. The visual transition from the front desk to the guest rooms is seamless, and there are photo opportunities everywhere. It really lives up to Conrad's design standards, making a special trip just to experience it completely worth it.

Nice and cosy. The place is new so everything is in very good condition. It’s about 15min walk to the tourist attractions

This hotel is great in every way, except for the parking which is a bit expensive and difficult to find. The rooms are spacious, the views are lovely, and the location is convenient with plenty of activity nearby.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights because of its location. It's nearby the bus stops of HOHO bus and X95 that is an express bus to the international airport. The public area and breakfast were good. But the guest room we stayed was lack of maintenance. The telephone wasn't connected. It's fixed the next day. The watertank of the toilet was leaking. Thus it refilled the watertank every few minutes. The sound of refilling water was very loud. So I turned off the water valve in order to shut down the noise. It's not a street veiw room as describe on their website. It's overlooking an narrow alley facing the windows of an apartment. Therefor we didn't open the curtain for the sake of privacy. The sound proofing of the rooms was very poor. We could hear people walking and conversations on the aisle and the movement in the next door. Therefor we didn't have good sleeps.

The service was excellent and very warm. The hotel is new, located in a relatively quiet and safe area, though it lacks a vibrant local atmosphere. It's just one metro stop away from Syntagma Square. The breakfast ingredients were average, but the variety and taste were decent.
