A very good hotel to stay when travelling with kids. We were given an amazingly large room. The roof top breakfast bar was amazing, in terms of the view and food.
Note: Another family who booked with us (with just 1 kid), for a slightly cheaper price, were given a much smaller, shabbier room with ground floor breakfast options which was not too good. So make sure you have clarity on that before confirming the booking.
Hotel Tier is conveniently located near Metaxourghio metro station, just a mere 3 min walk from hotel. From this station, 3 stops to Syntagma which is the city centre.
There are bistros and cafes nearby. We arrived at 1130am and because the room was already cleaned staff checked us in immediately without having to wait till 3 pm. Thank you for that.
Room is very small even though the beds can fit 3 pax with one queen and one single bed. Hardly space to open your luggage. Bathroom is clean but small.
The lift is really tiny that can only fit 1 person with luggage. Staff is very kind, helpful and friendly.
Overall still a comfortable stay for just one night.
Our room on the top floor had a view of the Acropolis, was equipped with a refrigerator, had a good shower and hot water came out quickly, so the room was warm and nice.
The room itself was also very nice, so we could easily spread out two suitcases without any problems.
The porters and receptionists were kind, and they also looked after our luggage, so it was very convenient.
We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!
The hotel is small, the room is not big, we booked 11 flat beds. It is recommended to go to Athens or book early, it is more convenient to visit in the Constitution Square. The hotel does not have a parking lot and it is recommended that you do not drive. The hotel is 1.5 km from the main attraction and 30 minutes walk.
The location is very good, close to the subway line, just a few steps away, you can check in very late, the boss is very funny, will chat with you and make jokes, Chinese simple sentences are very good, impressive is the breakfast of its family, can It is also very rich, especially with yogurt and honey. It is delicious.
A stay at 12 Reasons Why Metaxourgeio places you in the heart of Athens, within a 10-minute walk of Ermou Street and Monastiraki Flea Market. This guesthouse is 0.8 mi (1.2 km) from Acropolis and 1.2 mi (1.9 km) from Syntagma Square.

Spacious, clean and well-equipped apartments. Guests frequently mention that the apartments are modern, roomy (with one or more bedrooms, living area, kitchen, sometimes 2 bathrooms), well-furnished and comfortable — good for families or groups.
We loved it! Thanks for your hospitality! We'd be happy to return.
Regarding the location: The metro is close by, and there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. From the balcony, we watched the parade vehicles early in the morning. The only downside is there isn't a large, good supermarket close by.
Regarding the accommodation: The apartment is well-equipped, with a welcome set including tea, good coffee, water, and even some oil and vinegar. The bed was excellent, and the sofa was great. There's a large fridge and plenty of dishes. Access is convenient with a code, and the elevator works. Plus, the reception is open during the day if you have any questions. What we didn't like: there's no shower curtain, so it floods every time. And there's no mop to clean up the water – you just have to wait for it to dry.
There are many types of breakfast, and the yogurt is delicious. There is a bus stop downstairs, so you can take the bus directly, which is very convenient, but there seem to be a lot of black people in this area. Although there is no danger, everyone still needs to be careful and pay attention to safety.

Great
GGuest UserIt is a completely renovated hotel in the ancient building. The space is very high and very clean. The ceiling retains the original mural. It is very beautiful. The customer service Effie is very kind, but when you go to Greece, please be sure to open a local phone. Most hotel customer service will need to contact you by phone or SMS.
The location is also convenient, the only problem is that the sound of the car at night will be more obvious.
GGuest UserPositive points:
The room was very clean. It was also very close to the subway station. The key was a number-entry type, so there was no worry about losing it. The dinner delivery options were plentiful and reasonably priced, which was great. The view was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable.
The shower had plenty of hot water. Shampoo and shower gel were provided.
The room's interior was beautiful, and the staff were kind and very nice.
They also held our luggage before check-in and after check-out.
Points of concern:
You need the WhatsApp app for check-in and other communication. I think not many Japanese people have it installed.
The room was clean, but the window couldn't be opened, so ventilation was difficult. The air conditioning worked well, so it wasn't a big issue.
The shower drain clogged fairly easily. This might be difficult for women with long hair.
There were no amenities such as hairbrushes or cosmetics. I might have been able to get them if I asked, but staff hours ended at 5 PM, so it wasn't possible.
SStephen1966Accommodation was exactly as described. Clean and tidy with lots of space. The location was great with only short walks to more popular locations and sites. There's plenty of local restaurants and cafes which was ideal for 10 days. We saw warnings about avoiding back streets but actually found a really nice fish restaurant, nice church with kids playing in the streets. There were also 2 reasonable supermarkets in the vicinity, better value than the multiple minimarts in the area. You are right next to the metro if you don't want to walk. You can easily get to and from the airport for 9 euros with only one change. We did the bus tour which operate from across the road. There was a lot of homeless but that was more between the apartment and Omonia. You see them but they're not aggressive or demanding. I've saw a lot worse elsewhere especially in the UK. Couldn't recommend enough, especially for the price. The staff were very friendly, we didn't need to contact them for anything and they only contacted for cleaning and check in and out. The Christmas village was actually the highlight although seeing a tortoise near the Parthenon was a close second.
SSilvestar VetrovA hotel close to the city center, metro station, and restaurants. The breakfast is decent but continental. The internet doesn't work, but that's irrelevant as I was in Athens to visit the city.
GGuest UserGreat hotel close to restaurants. Rooms were clean and very aesthetically pleasing.
Transport is very accessible and it’s easy to get everywhere.
Office staff were helpful and knowledgeable.
No restaurant or drinks on site but there is a street vendor just outside selling drinks and snacks.
Rooms were serviced daily with fresh towels and coffee.
MMazen KhamisThe staff in the hotel are extremely lovely and they try their best to make the trip as enjoyable as possible. Matina is wonderful and just brings a smile to my face everytime I enter and exit the hotel. Elina was so kind to extend my checkout time despite the hotel being fully booked. Last but not least, the breakfast staff were so patient and always polite and lovely.
Otherwise of course the hotel requires maintenance and the area is too crowded as any populated city, so if you go with the right expectations you will enjoy your trip, otherwise if you have high expectations I recommend booking somewhere else.
GGuest UserReally nice internationally branded hotel. Was able to enjoy a workout, a nice morning in the sun by the pool, and overnight lookout to the Acropolis on the rooftop bar.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is right next to a huge homeless population. However, it is a 15 minute walking distance from popular restaurants and squares. As for the room, it’s not the nicest room, so it fits the price of what you pay for. The sink and shower didn’t drain. But the bed was pretty comfy and had AC which was a huge advantage. The staff is amazing and super nice.
MMama_on_moveCentral Green Apartments was a great spot to stay. It was within walking distance (if an hour walk isn't too much for you) to the Acropolis and Plaka. Otherwise, the nearby Metro train is there.
The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had everything you could need to have a lengthy stay. Roof top view of the Acropolis is amazing too!
Close to mini markets, cafes, and restaurants.
[Side note - being opposite the bus depot and taxi rank, I recommend ear plugs. The children wore themselves out, so the noise didn't seem to bother them, but as a pretty light sleeper, definitely needed.]
