Hotels in Syntagma Square, Athens

Excellent stay in the heart of Athens! This is by far one of the best options you can find in central Athens, just a 5-minute walk from Syntagma metro station. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need, and despite being right in the heart of the city, the room is incredibly quiet. The service was excellent, and access to both the building and the room was very easy and convenient. There are also plenty of great spots for food, drinks, and more, all within a 1–5 minute walk. Overall, I’m truly impressed with this choice, and it will definitely be my first option every time I visit Athens. —————————————————————————————— •Εξαιρετικο!!! •Οτι καλύτερο μπορει να βρει καποιος στο κεντρο της Αθηνας, σε αποσταση μολις 5 λεπτων απο τη σταση του μετρο(Συνταγμα). •Ειναι πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με οτι προκειται να χρειαστειτε και παρολο που ειναι στην καρδια της πολης, εχει •Απόλυτη ησυχία στο δωματιο. •Εξαιρετική επισης και η εξυπηρέτηση! •Ευκολη προσβαση και στο δωματιο αλλα και στο κτιριο. •Πολλα και πολυ ωραια μαγαζιά για φαγητο/ποτο κτλ σε αποσταση 1-5 λεπτων. •Συνολικα ειμαι πολυ ενθουσιασμένος με αυτη την επιλογή και θα ειναι το πρωτο που θα ψαχνω καθε φορα που ειναι να επισκεφτώ την Αθηνα.

The location is great, within walking distance of Athens' attractions. The breakfast selection isn't very varied, but the food is delicious, and the breakfast lady is very kind. The front desk staff was extremely rude! !!! Arrogant and rude! !!! We arrived quite early, around 8:45 AM. Two ladies (whom I didn't know at the time, thinking they were the B&B owners, later learned they were the breakfast ladies) checked in with us. I asked if we could check in earlier, but was told that their check-out time was before 11 AM. We had to wait, and they would contact us three hours later if a room was available. Four hours later, around 12:30 PM, I went to the B&B to confirm my check-in. When I arrived, there was a woman leaning against the doorway smoking. I walked straight in. No one was at the front desk. After two hellos, one of the women I mentioned earlier came out. I asked if I could check in. While I was talking, I heard a hello behind me. Because I was talking to the woman, I didn't look back and ignored her. Then, my nightmare began. The hellos behind me grew louder and louder until they drowned out our conversation. I had to look back and saw it was the woman who had been smoking at the door. She angrily asked what was going on. After asking again about my check-in time, she bluntly replied, ”No rooms available. No, I have to wait until 3 PM.” Another staff member came over, and after a few words, she replied, ”It's 1 PM, check-in time.” After confirming my check-in time, she turned and left, intending to come back when it was time. At that moment, the staff member who had been smoking at the door slammed her keys onto the table and began speaking in Greek. Even if I couldn't understand Greek, I could sense her deep hostility. I was so angry that I called Ctrip to complain. As a result, when we went to check in, she questioned me about why I'd complained about her and wouldn't check us in. She rolled her eyes and slammed her pen on the table. When I asked her why, she said she was tired! !!!!!! We stayed two nights in a row, but they didn't arrange for room cleaning on the second day! !!! Someone this irritable and unprofessional should definitely not work in the service industry. It met my expectations for a star-rated hotel. The staff were very friendly and responded to questions and requests quickly. The location was also great, with Athens city attractions all within walking distance.

It's just a few minutes' walk from Constitution Square, and the airport shuttle bus stops right there. I always walk to and from the airport with my luggage, which is very convenient. The surrounding area is also convenient for sightseeing and shopping.

The hotel's location is superb. It's about a 5-minute walk from Syntagma metro station, the X95 airport bus stop, and the X80 bus stop for the cruise terminal. Downstairs, you're right in the heart of the bustling city center, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. You can also walk to the main attractions. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was enough space for two large suitcases. The air conditioning was strong and adjustable, and the shower had good water pressure. However, the bathroom was quite small, making it a bit cramped to move around. The breakfast buffet was just average, offering coffee, juice, a few pastries, and basic items like eggs, sausages, and bacon.

The breakfast was good, and you could see the Acropolis. Overall, it was okay, but the bathroom had very little space for toiletries and towels, which was inconvenient.

The location is excellent, but the stairs have a layer of heavy luggage. It is not convenient to have no facilities in the hotel. The staff's service attitude is very attentive and clean and the comb bed is also OK, but suitable for couples. Many restaurants nearby are convenient for male and female friends or friends to entertain.

Really nice place, rooftop got such amazing view The breakfast is really good. The room is small but it was fine for the 2 of us with 1 bag. Bathroom was really nice. If you are a light sleeper I don't recommend as the night club behind the hotel will keep you up. But for my friends who stayed in a nicer room than us did not hear a thing. You can also hear people came home or leaving like they are in you room. For us we just put white noise and went straight to sleep. The bed are amazing and soft. The spa and sauna was really good as well. I would recommend, people who work there are so lovely as well. Hope this helps others out.

The location is very closed to where I got off from bus X95 but hardly to find out the building entrance at night time.  The room basically is clean but my wife saw a cockroach 🪳 that really scary for her as she hasn’t seen this creature since she moved to Euro few years ago. We chose to stay there for a night only because we took a late flight and could get our hotel directly by taking bus X95 to city from airport without needing of taxi transfer. The hotel service is nice. They helped keep my baggage at their sister hotels for half day after I  have checked out. In addition, their response is fast.
