The Candler Hotel Atlanta, Curio Collection by Hilton

Atlanta|0.26km from Eneni's Garden, Ltd.
Oh my gosh this building is so beautiful. With one exception the staff were kind and professional. We got a city view corner room, 1704. It was a birthday splurge. Elegant swanky color scheme, clean. Huge old timey windows on two sides, great view. Shut your bathroom shades in rooms facing east or west, or you'll wake up to a sauna. Easy walk to MARTA train stations, huge plus. We arrived about 8.45 on Saturday night. I think any problem we experienced can be blamed on it being a busy Saturday night, understaffed post COVID19. We were tired. We couldn't figure out where to pull up for valet parking (45/ night, but it is the best safest thing to do). Someone possibly a manager at the valet podium was in a yelling match with a customer. This was scary. The young man who helped with our luggage seemed anxious too, but every young man working valet throughout our stay was very helpful and kind. Give them a raise! Tip well! Front desk staff looked like they were putting out many customer dissatisfaction fires. They did seem stressed. I commend their consistent calm and kind demeanor. We missed the last building tour by minutes which made me so sad. An employee did offer an impromptu tour the 2nd night but we came in too late to enjoy that. So... arriving earlier would have made a big difference to the quality of our stay. I'll review the bar / restaurant By George separately.

Catch the hottest two days to arrive in Atlanta, cool to burst! Hotel location is not bad, not far from where to go, the surrounding is safer. The air conditioner is the kind of window machine, the sound is loud, and the cooling effect is very good.

Pros: Walking distance to Mercedes Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, Centennial Park, Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola. Traffic is so bad it is not worth taking your car out of valet. Valet employees were courteous and efficient. Breakfast was decent. Beds clean and comfortable (except sofa bed). Cons: The majority of the photos here don’t show you the rooms that have yet to be renovated. Ask for a room in the renovated area, ours was not and I didn’t realize there might have been a choice. We were only there for two nights and mainly only there to sleep, so we didn’t complain. It seemed they really did not care for the unrenovated areas. Hall carpets were stained and hall smelled mildewy and humid. Extra plugs in the lamp between the beds for charging phones - only one worked and both outlets came out of the lamp with their wires when you unplugged. Scraped up coatings and dents all over bathtub and shifted ceiling tiles/spiders and spiderwebs in corners. Had to shove the door to close it all the way and engage any other locks. Top security bar base was glued to a piece of wood with extra screws in a shoddy repair job. Fridge fell forward every time we opened it due to missing feet on the bottom. Overall the room serves its purpose and the hotel was in a great location if you’re headed to town for a concert or event, but we wouldn’t stay again unless we knew for sure our room was on renovated floor.
The American Hotel Atlanta Downtown - a DoubleTree by Hilton

Go to Atlanta for the first time and attend the imaging USA conference. At that time, the hotel was chosen for the location, in the city center. From the hotel to CNN, Olympic Park, Ferris Wheel, Coca-Cola World, Aquarium, and the panoramic revolving restaurant sun dial, all within a few minutes walk, very convenient! The service attitude in the hotel is also very good, when you check in, you will also get 2 bottles of water and chocolate. Then, the room was better than I thought, although one person traveled, but because the double room was cheaper, it was booked in a double room. 😄 There is a big desk, it is very convenient to use a computer or something. Then open the window and just see the Ferris wheel outside, great. The whole room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! I am a very picky bed, but their beds are really good, and the quality of sleep is high these days. I have to praise that the original location shooting on the 21st, but because the day is super cold, I have to change to indoor shooting, and the hotel decoration is quite good, so I asked the hotel people can take pictures, they not only agree, but also bring I went to some high-level meeting rooms to assist us in shooting. And I lost an earring in the room and returned to the hotel. I found that the earrings on the table were in pairs. It can be seen that their cleaning staff is very responsible and careful. Very touched, I really feel that the service of this hotel is very friendly! highly recommended!
