It's actually a very nice hotel. On our Princess for one day 20th Anniversary we had five events there, which went, once we were able to get to the hotel (there were massive road constructions the hotel did not bother to tell us about and once in Bad Elster, instead of five minutes it took us an hour to get there. A little warning would have been much appreciated). While I still believe that the hotel, in general, is nice and if you plan to stay in the area, you are likely to enjoy it, I must warn you if you plan any event there. They really got to work on their communication skills, and the number of calls and mails to have them respond exceeded the amount we exchanged with all hotels exceeding the total of the entire tour. Even settling our bill was a problem. Even though they have an image of the credit card (both sides) in writing, I was unable to get a final bill before we left. Then, they tried to charge the card so often that the credit card issuer canceled the card as they thought this was a fraudulent attempt to charge the card. I had to drive to our German office to get the new card. One would have thought they would apologize - their Marketing Director Michael Boerner asked us to stay away in the future. Wow.
