Breakfast was delicious. Laundry was washed, hung out, and folded for 100 baht. I brought my own laundry detergent. It was great that it was within walking distance to Khao San Road!

Beautiful homestay in an old thai house owned by a thai family. The guest is the kindest and super helpful. I had a private room and it was very cozy. Being a traditional wooden house of course there is not much insulation, so you can hear others' steps or sneeze. Not much of a problem for me anyway. Breakfast was delicious, everyday we had a different fullfilling meal made of fruit, rice with egg and meat or thai soup. Location is close to the old Bangkok area, a bit of walking to the metro station but you can grab easily. Keep in mind it is located in a very narrow street in proximity of the canal, hence it can look a bit sketchy at first sight. Note, I'm a solo female traveller and had absolutely no issue and never felt in danger, the place is populated by locals living in the neighbourhood and plenty of cute cats!

Take dad out for fun. Found this B&B. The room is small and fresh. Quiet and simple. There is a small courtyard. Although you have to pass through a small alley when entering, it is better than being clean. There are also many European and American people living here. They make their own breakfast, including fruits, coffee, curry soup, etc. It tastes very good. The housekeeper will also communicate with us about translation software. Very warm and kind.
