Bangkok Hotels with Breakfast

One of the hardest recommended Hotel I’ve ever given. First I have to list all the not-so-good things: 1. The room is old. You can feel it the moment you enter the room. The case for the air conditioner controller is broken (the controller is still working fine). The carpet is clean but old and out of fashion. The air conditioner’ fan runs like a jet engine. 2. The checkin/checkout lines are not optimized in work flow. It took at best 5 minutes just to checkin 2 persons, at worst 40 minutes for a group checkin. So I had one of the worst checkin time ever. I had to wait in line for 50 minutes for my turn. 3. The towels had some stains. They are clean though. But even with those negative things I still have a lot of good things to say: 1. Location, location, location. Ambassador is on the CBD of Bangkok. Which means you can go to other places very cheap and very quickly. It is close to the Nana BTS and Sukhumvit MRT. You can go to Terminal 21 for shopping and dining. Many other services are nearby. 2. The price is very affordable. Price/performance of the room is not bad at all. With the same price you can only have a smaller and worse location room of other hotels or homestay. 3. If you intend to go outside a lot during daytime then the room is not that bad. The shower and bed were really all my need and they worked just fine. 4. The Sky wing suite has a really good view of Bangkok 5. The staff are very nice and polite. I don’t have any negative moment regarding the staff. The hotel mainly targets Indian groups that join conventions or meetings. So they don’t renew the facilities frequently. But I think they are still good enough for your stay. Overall, if you can pay more, there are better options of course. But your budget is limited then you should definitely short-list this hotel.

I recently stayed at the Oakwood studios hotel for a short trip and overall I had a positive experience. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities for a work trip, including a desk and reliable Wi-Fi. They also boast a nice pool and a small gym. The hotel's location was convenient and easily accessible, with plenty of dining options and 7/11 nearby. However, the noise level from neighbouring rooms and the hallway was a bit higher than I would have liked, but it didn't significantly impact my ability to rest and work. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for business travelers looking for a reliable and comfortable stay. It may not have all the bells and whistles of a luxury hotel, but it certainly gets the job done at a reasonable price.

Good service from hotel staff: Nut & Arm. Welcome drink and buggy service is available 24hrs. The hotel is near the Pratunam area, which is a very convenient location to stay in. Breakfast with variety choices and different daily. Thai custome photoshooting is great with the service from Kik & Nam.

We have been staying at Anantara Riverside Bangkok for over 20 years. The environment is excellent, as well as the service, the buffet breakfast, the reception, the shuttle boat service and the room. Everything was perfect and good for family travellers. As I travelled to Bangkok to celebrate my mother's 74th Chinese Birthday, the hotel offer us a small but tasty and good looking birthday cake. Moreover, as we are super fans of this hotel since year 2003, the hotel grand us free access to Kasara Lounge which made this journey even more unforgettable. If we travel to Bangkok, we will definitely stay again at Anantara Riverside Bangkok. I would like to thank Mr. Michael Robinson, General Manager and Ms Supaporn Piromklad, Director of Rooms, Ms NJ, Ms Gift, Mr. Diamond and all the staff for all the kind attention and excellent service rendered during our stay. Anantara Riverside Bangkok made us feel like staying home and we had enjoyed another pleasant stay.

Hotel location is perfect just across the road from Platinum mall and easy to go around through skywalk bridge. Staffs are friendly and helpful, and breakfast also great with many choices of food. Room is great if you can get the renovated one.

We travel 3 adults and arrived at midnight. We had called the hotel to confirm an extra bed. But they only prepare it after we arrived and need to wait quite a while when aldy exhausted. The front desk staff is kind and nice & informed us that only smoking rooms avail. Cannot do anything except to accept. Room was very hot eventhought on max temp. Had informed that came for birthday celebration but nothing was prepared. Kinda sad since they are 5 stars hotel. The concierge very nice and helpful tho. For next stay I might think thrice if want to stay at the hotel or not....not living up to their brand and star ratings

I would definitely recommend Evergreen Place to others who are looking for a spacious and comfortable place to stay in Bangkok. Friendly & helpful staff, comfortable amenities, nice view overlooking the Siamscape, Siam Square, Siam Paragon. Location is convenient but somehow some of the Grab drivers always stopped at the wrong hotel (Asia Bangkok Hotel) as Evergreen Place lobby is behind the main Evergreen Residence. BTS train is 5 minutes away walking. Please note that this hotel is not a halal-certified hotel. Hence, guests need to be more cautious when eating the breakfast.

Location - nearby Phra Khanong BTS station (approx 5mins walking distance). But hotel do provide free transportation to this station, but u have to liaise with the receptionist. There is one 7-11 store nearby (approx 1mins walk). Mostly local street foods nearby this hotel. Transportation - I took DMK airport taxi to this hotel (40mins drive) and cost me THB370 (inclusive of THB50 airport surcharge and THB50 toll fee). It’s very convenient to take BTS to siam, pratunam or chilom area (about 20mins train ride. You may buy a one day BTS pass which offer unlimited ride in a day. Breakfast - good variety come with various fruits, drinks and dishes. Overall - highly recommended.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on our stop over in Bangkok. As soon as we arrived we were so impressed; the lobby was super inviting and modern. The staff were so accommodating, friendly and attentive to our every need during our stay. We stayed on the 32nd floor and the views of Bangkok from our window were just insane, we had a perfect view of the sunset and at night time it just felt magical! We could even see the Mahanakon Sky walk from our room which wasn’t far from the hotel which we ended up visiting ( would recommend if you like heights and a roof top drink! ) The room was spacious, we had all our luxuries with coffee/ tea, hairdryer and even the small details of supplying some extra toiletries ( my girlfriend really appreciated these ! ) The room felt very modern and was a comfortable place for us to catch up on some work ( as we work online ) whilst feeling right at home. On that note the wifi is very fast! Whilst travelling around we love to make time to keep on top of our fitness and the hotel gym was perfect for our needs, great variety of equipment and floor space for yoga. The outdoor pool was perfect to chill out on the loungers and go for a dip with some scenic city views! We also had breakfast here and the variety of hot / cold food was good and the coffees were amazing! The omelette station was our favourite! We were told they are building a bar and restaurant for the 38th floor which wasn’t ready when we were there but that will definitely be such a nice touch! Gutted we couldn’t experience that, maybe next time when we come back to Bangkok. Location was very good, not far from shopping centres like icon Siam and central world ( about 10 min taxi ride ) and a few restaurants and cafes around the neighbourhood. It's also a 15 minute walk to Lumpini park. Would really recommend this hotel for comfort, location, wifi and just a really lovely stay! Can’t wait to come back! Lauren and Reece.
