Amazing service and beautiful boutique resort island. Just perfect

If you're seeking late-night parties and DJs, this might not be the resort for you. Now, let's dive into the details. The resort is conveniently located just a 20-25 minute speedboat ride from Male airport. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the island is small enough to walk around in 15-20 minutes. We stayed in a beach villa with a private pool and half-board. The pool was shaded by palm trees during the hottest parts of the day, and the beach was simply perfect. The online photos might appear a bit dated, but the reality is much better. Our dedicated butler, Reema, was incredibly kind and attentive, making our babymoon special with hot baths, flower arrangements, and private celebrations. She took excellent care of us throughout our stay. The resort features three restaurants and a charming bar. The food at Lime, the main restaurant, was exceptional—everything we tried was delicious. Although the breakfast buffet wasn't extensive, it was complemented by an à la carte menu that offered a variety of tasty options. Lala made our dinners extra special with his food recommendations and attentiveness to our preferences. Overall, our entire trip was a success, and the Baros team truly made it memorable. Things to know: - Transfers are chargeable by the hotel. Ensure you inform them of your arrival flight 2 days in advance and get confirmation on your transfer. - The hotel is very relaxed and private, making it ideal for newlyweds, honeymooners, and families with older children. - The resort offers daily activities, including excursions, snorkeling trips, cruises, yoga, and more. Some activities are chargeable, while others are free, and all necessary gear is available at the Marine Center at no cost. We would visit again.

This was my fourth trip to the Maldives but first in many years. In the past I always stayed at an island that required an airline transfer + flight which took another half-day or more. This time I chose Baros based off reviews, being part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and location. The location could not have been better. After landing in Male it took about 5 minutes to deplane + another 5 to go through immigration and customs. Moments later I was met by the hotel staff and placed on a speedboat. 30 minutes later was I was in paradise and headed to my villa. The entire staff was exceptional and Sita took care of EVERYTHING. The villa was beautiful, the beaches pristine, the meals delicious, the service top-notch, and the dolphin cruise was extraordinary. I cannot wait to return!

The water house we stayed in had a swimming pool. The room was big and there was a beautiful sea view on the balcony. From the moment we left the airport, the guy who picked us up, the guy on the speedboat, and the guy who sent us off really provided excellent service. When we arrived at the hotel pier, the management staff led the service staff to warmly welcome us on the island. When we left, they waved goodbye at the pier until they disappeared into the vast ocean... My English is not good, but I met Bonan, a girl from Baoji, China, on the island. She enthusiastically and proactively provided us with high-quality service, introduced us to information about the island, took our orders, booked boats, and delivered things to our room over and over again on hot days. When the room cleaner didn't clean for us, change towels, take out the trash, or deliver mineral water, she personally went to the room to serve us... I don't know why the room cleaner didn't serve us. I turned over the sign for room cleaning twice, but found it was turned back when I returned to the room. The room was still not cleaned. I don't know if I didn't tip the night I came. I didn't have change that day, so I went to the front desk to change change after dinner. However, there was no room service from the second to the third night. It was not until I told Bonan that the bathroom trash can was full and the mineral water was finished that Bonan came to the bathroom to watch over it, and then they started cleaning. I chose this hotel because they have a high score of 4.9. To be honest, all the services and details of the hotel are very good, but the behavior of the room boy really makes me feel that he is holding the hotel back and letting the chain down. I hope the hotel will strengthen its management so that all tourists who come to the beautiful Baros Island can return happily...

The rooms are comfortable, the island is peaceful, and the service is excellent. It is a great place to relax.

I like it very much. The room has been partially renovated and is suitable for snorkeling. I recommend it to everyone.

It was a beautiful island. From the airport reception to the final drop-off, the service was perfect and thoughtful. There were also many activities on the island. You could also go out to sea to see dolphins. It was a comfortable holiday.

Barros breakfast is delicious and the hotel is so clean You can snorkel right in front of the hotel, and there are so many pretty fish with beautiful coral. I snorkel safely even though I can't swim When I saw the shark carrying the baby right in front of the hotel room, it was amazing "Butler reema". Beautiful resort. Sujata our Butler was so helpful and informative helping us get the max out of Baros. Fabulous a la cart food on half board. A superb house reef enjoyed with complementary snorkel gear also 2 fun introductory dives with the brilliant confidence inspiring Marie.

We absolutely loved our vacation at the “Baros” hotel in the Maldives during the first week after the New Year. From the moment we were greeted at the airport by hotel staff for our transfer, we were surrounded by care and attention. Our butler, Rauyana(Rau), was consistently available and incredibly helpful with all of our questions. During our stay, which coincided with the holiday week, we were fortunate to participate in a "Master Chef" competition with Chef Hasbi (who is a genius at improvising, creating new dishes, and cooking in general), and a complimentary sunset fishing trip provided by the hotel. We won an hour massage at the spa and a lunch made from our catch, which was a lovely surprise. We stayed in a "Deluxe Villa" on the beach. Housekeeping was performed twice daily, both morning and evening, and everything was always clean and flawless. The reef was fantastic; we saw a wide variety of marine life very close to the shore, and the ocean water was crystal clear. The hotel's water sports team was also very helpful, providing us with details about all the available activities and an interesting tour of the house reef. Additionally, the hotel's marine biologists conducted a short masterclass on coral planting. Huge thanks to everyone, especially Rauyana (Rau) for her responsiveness and attentiveness.

Baros is heaven on earth, so beautiful … Amazing villa, beach , food ,spa , different complimentary attractions every. The staff took great care of us , special thanks to Anas! We’ll definitely be back next year You really deserve to receive the title for the most romantic island on Indian Ocean ❤️.

Pure paradise. Baros offers a great food, beach and luxury attractions experience. I was with my family and boyfriend and 4 days weren’t enough - we left with excitement and greediness for next year. We also got an offer of an amazing romantic dinner in our villa with an ocean view - just for two. Anas - took great care of us, special thanks for him! See you next year!
