Last month we stayed in the Premier Inn 100 yds down the road from the Hampton and boy the hotels are like chalk and cheese with the Hampton winning hands down. Reception brighter with plenty of cheerful receptionists to check you in. Rooms are well laid out with everything you need including a safe, fridge, hair drier and iron. Lovely big walk in shower with plenty of toiletries to hand and lovely fluffy towels and believe it or not flannels. Two sets are laid out in the bathroom ready for use. We had a twin room and found the beds to be larger than an average single bed, very comfortable and lovely bed linen. The TV on the wall is huge with plenty of channels to keep you entertained. Wifi is free. As for the breakfast well we found plenty of choice - sausages, mushrooms, beans, hash browns and scrambled egg. There was toast, croissants and muffins, fresh fruit, cold meats and cheese and I also spied pots of Oats so Simple you could make up and a waffle maker which was very popular. Given that this was included in the price (unlike the competitor where you have to pay an additional £9.50 for breakfast) we found it was a good enough start to our day. Location is great with the only downside, as with most city hotels, there is no on site parking. Quids cheaper than the competitor when we booked what is not to like?

Have returned from a 1 night stay at Hotel Indigo, booked for us by a family member so had done little research on the hotel, we arrived to a really friendly reception and were shown to our room 531. We were so impressed with the room and facilities, the entire place was completely spotless, comfortable beds, ample space and storage options, excellent lighting. The shower was divine! Reception phoned us to check everything was ok shortly after check in which was a nice touch and booked us in for breakfast at the hotels restaurant (The Elder) for the next morning at a time that suited us. Food and drinks at the elder were fantastic although a little pricey but that’s to be expected in Bath, however we didn’t mind the price given the excellent service received. Very close to city centre and all tourist attractions and good options of restaurants and bars all within a short walking distance. I really feel like I need to stress just how clean this entire hotel was, literally spotless in the room and all communal areas, one of the best we have ever stayed in. Nothing was too much to ask, all staff we encountered were more than friendly and made us feel welcome. We would definitely return to this hotel if in Bath again. Fantastic service all round. Thank you

We booked directly, in January, with the hotel taking up an offer for our March stay. This is a 5 star hotel and we upgraded our room a few days before arrival. The room was lovely with a comfortable 4 poster bed and all facilities as expected. Breakfast was not as we had expected for a 5 star hotel. We had to choose a time to eat, did the earlier people have all the yoghurt? By the time (8.45) we arrived we were scraping the bottom of the deep jar and our cooked breakfast was a meagre portion. The potato cake was very thin, like cardboard, a single thin rasher of bacon and a slice of mushroom. Thank goodness I asked for a grilled tomato! We had to ask for toast that 1st morning. The coffee pot was barely enough for one, we had to ask for more! We had booked to eat in the Vellore Restaurant for my birthday but decided to cancel this, as seemed expensive and breakfast had put us off! So we chose to eat from the bar menu instead, taking the meal in the lounge. Unfortunately the room was pretty cold, we heard other guests complaining about this. Guests can ask for fresh milk to go with the complimentary tea and coffee, but be aware a tiny jug of milk is £6. However the staff were friendly and extremely helpful and the hotel is well situated for the town.

Bathen House is simply phenomenal from the mixture of old and modern aesthetic that screams class, elegance and luxury to the squeaky clean, serene environment and the oh so polite staff that were always available to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. A lovely building with a nice forecourt area, reception was very welcoming, bright and cheerful. All the staff we spoke to were lovely and helpful. The only bad point was not having a car park, but they do offer discount on the nearby public car parks.

We arrived late in the evening. The staff on our arrival were so friendly and we were taken to our rooms quickly. Our room was huge, my daughters was smaller but still big enough for two adults. They were spotless, bed was so comfortable too and sleep was great. Bathroom was excellent with a huge shower area and toiletries were supplied. We had breakfast in the morning which was amazing. Down in the restaurant there were toys, books, games and a comfortable area where you could sit and relax. Again the staff could not have been more helpful or nice. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Hollies Inn.

GGuest UserI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chestnuts Boutique B&B! I was able to park up my car at the front of the establishment and walk around Bath for the rest of my visit! Attractions and places of interest were around a 15 minute walk away- which is fantastic!
The host was so helpful and attentive.
My room was clean and comfortable! I had access to plenty of wardrobe space,a TV with Netflix, a fridge, kettle and a well stocked box of tea treats (& fresh cakes too!)
Breakfast was gorgeous and fresh. There were plenty of local leaflets available to read about local events and attractions too.
Thank you very much!
GGuest UserBooked a basic room for one night for my girlfriend's birthday, the hotel upgraded us to a luxury room type for free after learning, and placed a bottle of wine and a handwritten greeting letter in the room. The room was very spacious, well equipped and clean. The hotel's hot spring facilities are small, but very clean and not crowded. The hotel's bar is much smaller than expected, about 12 people can be accommodated, but the bartender is very good and professional, there are a lot of wines to choose from.
曾曾The location of the hotel is very good, just inside the Crescent Building, we ordered room delivery on the day, the room service was good & # 128077; but there was no Chinese courtesy in the promotion: the kettle in the room was a phone call and the waiter delivered it In the past, the so-called Chinese logo was also limited to no smoking and no Chinese facilities list. We called our front desk without a Wi-Fi signal before changing our room, and our check-in experience on the day was not good. : Because it rained, we arrived a little earlier (hotel check-in was at 3 pm) and had been waiting in the lobby for nearly two hours before proper check-in was made. Check-in took place during the period when seven or eight foreign tourists arrived. During the check-in process for them, I was puzzled. I went to the front desk twice to ask. Their answers were different rooms for the guests and us. Their room types were taken care of, and our room was not good. It was a coincidence. That day, so many batches of tourists were so lucky that none of them stayed in our room type. We also encountered bad conditions when we arrived early when traveling abroad, but the hotel Let ’s wait a bit, and deal with it as soon as possible, so that guests can check in as soon as possible (except for the large resort hotel where there are many guests, the cleaners are too busy, and it may not be possible to check in early). According to my observation, this hotel Not so large, but it really made us wait for three points, not a minute ahead of time, unfortunately we do n’t agree with this hotel, and we ca n’t reach the service concept of a five-star hotel
SSkyshanghaiSumptuous would be the word to describe this hotel. From the lobby to the room to the free snacks pantry, everything is sumptuous. The room we booked is absolutely huge with high ceilings and large windows. The bed and bedding is super super comfortable and we slept really well. The bathroom is nice with a big tub. Location is also excellent, minutes from downtown, the bridge and Roman baths. Looking forward to staying here again.
余余The hotel is huge! It is located on a small hillside in the outskirts of Bath. The scenery is pleasant. At night, you can overlook the night view of Bath and see the stars. Convenient transportation, the hotel is on the main road to the center of Bath, and the highway from the city is also very close. There is a lot of free parking for self-driving. There are a number of bus lines directly to the city centre of Bath next to the hotel. It is convenient to have buses from morning to night. The hotel is large, with many rooms, clean and comfortable, and soundproof. The rooms are modern and fully equipped, and the mattress pillows are comfortable. The hot and cold water pressure in the bathroom is very stable, and there are many tea and coffee options in the mini bar in the room. The closet has a sense of opening and closing the door, so I thought very carefully. The wireless network is stable and there are many choices for TV stations. Breakfast selection. The service staff was very kind and caring. I will choose to stay at this hotel in the future.
ZZhanqianyingSmall luxury hotel I feel relieved to see that it is SLH, but it is unusually understaffed. From check-in to dining in the restaurant, you have to wait, wait, wait. If you don’t understand English, please don’t come. Most of the employees look like college students who work part-time and cannot solve the problem alone. question.
The restaurant and bar are good, the room is very big, you need to take the stairs to the first floor, and the bathroom is half a floor up. The swimming pool is small and there are many people. There is a sauna, but it was useless because the temperature was 30 degrees on the day of arrival.
Charging the tram is also very funny. It took a long time to fully charge it.
GGuest UserJust returned from a 2 night stay and the hotel was spot on ! I had to ring the evening before as I had booked the wrong date, Sam was super helpful and continued to be so when we checked in the following day and he was on reception, greeted me as a gold member . He had a room ready and offered an early check in, and even accommodated ensuring I had a quiet room. Breakfast was better than expected considering it was included, and there were plenty of extra tea bags and coffee sachets by the lifts if you needed more for your room. Staff were friendly and room was basic but comfortable - as advertised ! Big thanks to Sam, as this trip could have started very differently ….. Will definitely work myself back to platinum with IHG now. :-)
YYINGYANThis is an old hotel with a history of more than 100 years. It is just opposite the Bath train station and it is very easy to find. It doesn't matter if you arrive at the hotel early, the front desk has a good attitude and you can leave your luggage for travel. Book a family room with an extra bed and three breakfasts. The difference from other hotels is that you have a sense of dignity. There is a menu for everyone to order personal breakfast, steak, salmon, classic breakfast (ham), etc., so it is a bit slow, time consuming, and a little more Time for breakfast. The hotel should have no parking on the side of the road. The hotel is a bit old, the equipment and other things look old, such as showers, room door locks, not very easy to use, not an electronic card, it is not used to open the door with a key. There is a kettle in the room for boiling water. It is very convenient to go out and travel, 10 minutes walk is the classics such as the downtown cathedral!
GGuest UserOur wedding at the Limpley Stoke Hotel on Saturday 1st October '22 was fabulous! Karen, the events manager, was on hand throughout the entire process, answering any questions we had and helping to ensure our day ran smoothly. The duty manager, George, was excellent and deserves recognition for his work ethic and social skills. He again was on hand to ensure the day ran smoothly, but regularly checked all was OK and nothing seemed too much for him - for example, he offered to heat my nephews food (a one year old), going above and beyond. Hugo, one of the bartenders, also deserves a shout out and recognition! We had multiple guests compliment him - excellent service! All staff on hand to help with the day were lovely, including those available during breakfast the following morning. The only downsides we had were: the DJ assigned to us - poor/lack of communication and also informed us that we could request as many songs as we liked for the evening - he did not play many of these at all, yet continued to ask guests for song requests throughout the night, ignoring the bride and groom. The fact we did not have access to the bridal suite all day/at an earlier time - so had to book a separate, smaller room, the night before for the bridal party to get ready in, with belongings moved across later - we were unable to gain access to the bridal suite until a later time Food was excellent! And the rooms as expected with comfy beds and super views! Thank you
GGuest UserPositives - excellent receptionist (Vipin) and without his help I would have probably checked out early. Has parking. Reasonable location and access into central Bath. Has an electric kettle and a pack of cookies.
Not so positives - In desperate need of upgrade, creaking floors, wash basin outside the bathroom. It isn’t for work related travellers as you cannot even use an iron without tripping off the entire building main switch and once that happen there is no 24 hour active reception. No fan or iron provided in room so you have to ask. Tiny computer monitor used as a make shift TV that you have to pull out of a closet. No drinking water in room. Value for money not there as many better locations available at same or lower price.
