Cleanliness: I was a little worried because I had seen many negative reviews before going, but I was satisfied, probably because my expectations were low. However, there was a white liquid (probably milk) in a glass in the refrigerator that seemed to have been half-drunk by the previous guest, so there was no cleaning or checklist (or even if there was, it seemed like it was not followed).
Location: About 10 minutes by boat to Universal Studios (no direct line to the island). Boats also depart frequently, so we had no trouble getting between the hotel and the park.
Service: The hotel staff's responsiveness was not as good as that of Japanese hotels, but it was quite satisfactory for America, and they seemed to greet us thoroughly.
Facilities: I had no complaints about the room I stayed in. Some previous reviews had mentioned a moldy smell, but although it was a room on the first floor, there was no such thing and it was comfortable. It is also good that an Unlimited Pass is included on the check-in and check-out days (we stayed for one night, so it is for two days).
Considering that a one-day unlimited pass costs about $140, the total cost of accommodation was nearly 100,000 yen per night, but if you subtract the equivalent of $560 for two days' unlimited pass for two adults from that, you are left with 79,000 yen at the current exchange rate of 142 yen, so the actual cost of accommodation seems to be quite cheap.
