Beach Hotels in Haikou

This isn't my first time in Haikou, and I absolutely love this tranquil city and its relaxed vibe. This stay at Sofitel Haikou was exceptional, outshining the hotel I stayed at last year in terms of facilities, room cleanliness, and overall service quality. I specifically booked a sea-view room, and the ocean view from the window was absolutely stunning and delightful. I particularly want to commend the hotel's service: when I went to the front desk to get my room card in the evening, the receptionist was incredibly enthusiastic and proactively recommended some local, lesser-known fishing villages and specialty foods. We followed her recommendations and were amazed by the beautiful coastal scenery. Throughout our entire stay, every staff member we encountered was diligent and responsible, meticulously addressing all our needs. The attention to detail in their service was impeccable. I've already recommended this hotel to my friends, and it will definitely be my top choice again on my next visit to Haikou. The accompanying photos are actual views from the guest room.

We originally booked for two nights, but the kids had such a blast that we extended our stay for three more! The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a fantastic variety, and the lounge service was excellent. Every afternoon, the kids loved going to the recreation area for crafts and swimming – they had such a great time! A big thank you to all the staff in the recreation department; the pool staff were incredibly responsible, and the kids absolutely adored the craft activities. And a special shout-out to our butler, Jenny – she was super responsive to any questions we had, always getting back to us immediately. The kids can't wait to come back and stay here again next month when we return to Haikou!

Overall, my stay at The Langham Haikou was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in quick and efficient. They proactively recommended local Haikou cuisine and tourist routes, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, although the air conditioning wasn't as effective as it could have been. The staff were responsive, and Julie provided attentive and warm service; her hospitality and the overall service deserve high praise. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers.

This stay exceeded my expectations; Marriott's quality control truly lives up to its reputation. The front desk service was warm and efficient, handling check-in quickly. They also thoughtfully informed me about the hotel facilities and local routes. The room was spacious and spotless throughout. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were well-designed, the mattress was just right (not too soft, not too firm), and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very restful night's sleep. The buffet breakfast offered a diverse selection of both Western and Chinese dishes, and the taste was spot-on. The gym and pool facilities were complete and well-maintained. The overall environment was quiet and elegant, making it perfect for both business trips and short getaways. Highly recommended! The hotel is surrounded by tons of restaurants, so you'll have endless dining options. All the in-room appliances work perfectly. Plus, there's an incredibly delicious coconut chicken restaurant right behind the hotel, less than 100 meters away – a must-try if you stay here! The room facilities and housekeeping are top-notch. The cleaning is meticulous, and everything is tidied up neatly. The staff are very polite. The buffet breakfast on the 33rd floor is abundant, delicious, and offers a wide variety of choices. The Guest Relations assistant even added me on WeChat during my stay, which was super convenient as they were always responsive to my requests. Overall, the hotel environment is quiet and upscale. This is definitely my go-to hotel when traveling.

Absolutely perfect! I initially thought it was an old hotel, but it completely won me over with its service and consistent quality. First off, there's the Kids' Creativity Park, offering all sorts of fun activities and photo ops for children. Secondly, I just found out it's part of the Marriott family of hotels. The staff were incredibly patient; I can't remember the name of the front desk attendant who helped us, but they kept my ID safe after I lost it, bringing me the joy of finding something I thought was gone forever. The Wi-Fi signal in our room was poor, but the 'little butler' (concierge) and front desk staff patiently came to our room multiple times to help us troubleshoot. The hotel is also very close to the beach, and you can even spot squirrels on the walk there. The kids had an absolute blast, especially with the sand bikes! It's truly the perfect hotel for families. I recommended it to friends the very next day, and they also stayed there for two nights the following Tuesday, reporting a truly excellent experience. Another plus is that there are lots of foreign children here, and everyone seems so happy and relaxed! Plus, they're very delivery-friendly; you can order anything you want, which is a huge bonus. It was a fantastic experience, and I might even come back for a second stay!

Among the many hotels in Haikou, I chose the Greenland Hilton, and it offered great value for money. Although it's not in the city center, getting around by taxi is very convenient. The pool is excellent, and swimming there is very enjoyable. You can walk directly from the hotel to the beach. My sea-view room had a dehumidifier, so I personally didn't find it humid at all. The view from the balcony was beautiful, whether it was raining or sunny. Breakfast hours were very long, which was a thoughtful touch. Rebecca provided all sorts of help before and after check-in, making this trip even more comfortable.

Facilities: Spotlessly clean and uniquely designed, featuring a balcony with beautiful bay views. Changying Global 100 Fantawild Wonderland (First Entry Ticket): The park is a bit far, but if you have some free time, it's worth checking out. The overall environment was pleasant. I went during the off-peak season, which made the price very reasonable. Definitely recommended.

This hotel is very close to the sea. You can hear the sound of the waves in the room. When you lie on the bed, you can see the swimming pool, coconut trees, and the beach. I especially like the hot spring swimming pool here. I don't want to leave. I have lived here since 2002. It was very ”aristocratic” back then. Now there are more hotels on the west coast and fewer people here, which is exactly the advantage here. It is very quiet. You can be in a daze here and think about problems. There is no cafeteria here. It is perfect to go to the nearby Fushan Cafe for breakfast, and go to the nearby Sheraton for afternoon tea in the afternoon. Before and after dinner, walk along the wave line outside the hotel to the Sheraton. It's not that you can't afford to stay at the Sheraton, but it's more cost-effective to watch the sea, listen to the sea and touch the sea here.

This stay was a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent, close to Xiuying Port. The community environment is beautiful, with lots of greenery. The receptionist was quick to process the check-in and provided excellent service. The upgrade to a sea view room offered a stunning nighttime view. It was great value for money!
