Hotel Melius is a hotel located at the entrance to Beja. Quite easy to find for those who don't know Beja. Somewhat dated in time. However, it has very hot water and good pressure. Pillows too soft. The breakfast was satisfactory. Hotel without piped music in common areas.

Everything is very good, I recommend it.

It is located 20 minutes from the center on foot. It is close to a shopping center and there are options nearby for lunch or dinner.

Pleasant, friendly staff. Room isolation left a little to be desired. The bar has good food options.

Hotel well located if you want to go by road to Mértola, in addition to visiting Beja. With a shopping center next door. Quiet room and good breakfast, I recommend it. I will come back if I need to be in the area.

A fairly standard commercial hotel. Nothing to write home about. But good reception service. Clean tidy. Bit out of town but a walk always does you good. I would stay here again. But hey I have to write some more. Why do i have to write more than i feel is necessary?

There are few options in Beja for business orientated hotels, and although the Melius is a simple option, it is clean, comfortable and offered me a good night's sleep. Parking is available right outside, if those are taken, there are plenty of other parking places directly across the road or the other side of the adjacent crossroads within the commercial areas. Once inside, check in was straightforward and I was soon to my room via one of the two lifts. Unfortunately, opening the door, I was hit with the heavy smell of cigarette smoke (the hotel is non-smoking), so back down to reception to ask for another room which wasn't a problem. The room was pretty basic, but comfortable. Mine was a twin, comfortable and no problems sleeping. Furniture was no-nonsense: a single chair; fixed desk and a sitting stool. Bit lots of wardrobe space. The bathroom was fine, appointed with a bath with shower fitted above the bath, lots of hot water and pressure. Both the bedroom and bathroom were immaculate. Breakfast is from 06:30 in the separate dining room. Again it is straightforward but easily sufficient: three types of cereals to choose from, a couple of hot options, bread, croissants, some yoghurts a few types of both fresh and tinned fruit, coffee from a machine. So not a grand spread, but perfectly fine for the day. The hotel doesn't really have a lounge or sitting areas, though there is a large bar which opens at 14:00. I was there during the World Cup, so it was relatively busy. They serve evening snacks, not really full-up meals, but I really enjoyed the local tapas for Euro 10.50. No gym, but virtually next door, a gym which offers guests patronage. There are a couple of paddle (tennis) courts out the back of the hotel, with equipment held by reception. In sum, I enjoyed my three night stay here. It offered what I needed; nothing more, nothing less, but in what it did offer it was very good.

It needs a renovation to give it more life.......!!! the bathroom also has a bathtub, with a heating system above the door with a resistance heater. There is no refrigerator or coffee machine in the room. Little light...the entrance to the room has an unwelcoming atmosphere

Excellent hotel, quality of stay and friendly staff. Excellent, clean rooms and excellent breakfast. From the reception, to the bar and breakfast, the service was very friendly. Without a doubt, the hotel I choose when I go to Beja.

We liked a lot . The room was very nice and clean, super comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient, although there was a lack of variety of products, namely fresh fruit (not canned in syrup, and vegetable drink options). Overall, for a 3 star hotel, it is very good. We must praise the friendliness and professionalism of the girl who served us at reception.

Excellent hotel. Excellent service in all areas. Whenever I go to Beja for work, this is without a doubt the hotel I choose. Excellent breakfast, good rooms, great bar service, and also the friendliness of the staff. Without a doubt, very recommended.

Hotel in general is good, it's a typical 3 star hotel, the room we were allocated was good enough to rest, during the night you don't hear any noise from the street, nothing at all, which is perfect, the blinds close completely, which helps with sleep quality. Just a note, the bed is slightly hard and makes a lot of noise if you move around a lot. The garage...is a bit questionable, I wasn't 100% sure about leaving my car there... Breakfast, something very small...there could be more choices... Otherwise, friendly staff, thanks to Rodrigo for the welcome at check-in and the friendliness of the blonde girl at the bar whose name, unfortunately, I didn't remember.

Weak reception and breakfast service. The mattress on the bed in room 215 should have been changed. Efficient and friendly bar service. Hotel well situated but with a lot of noise from the street. Free garage but no signage, which makes parking difficult
