After several visits to this hotel unfortunately we were disappointed with our recent stay. The hotel is starting to look tired and the room had a threadbare carpet. There was definitely a reduction in food quality and choice although there has been an increase in prices especially a big increase to upgrade to gold which we didn't feel was worth it anymore. The staff, as always were welcoming and work hard. The pool really needs to be heated as does the hot tub as it wasn't even warm. Location is good but we won't be returning again.

Just returned from a few days at the RH Royal, this hotel dose everything right, friendly staff, excellent food,clean and a great location. Turn right out of the hotel straight into Old Benidorm,turn left then right straight into the new town perfect. At this time of year the guests were all of a older generation but that was fine with us . As a group of 4 who've been to Benidorm many times we all agreed this hotel was perfect.. 👏

Fifth time visit to the amazing RHRoyal! What can I say? The staff as always are so professional, friendly and personable. Juan Antonio and Alfonso do a great job running the bar. Rosa is amazing running the restaurant. We were greeted like old friends! The food and drink is great. We were gold all inclusive and it was certainly worth the small upgrade we paid from the full board that we had booked with Jet2. Larios gin was lovely as was the campo viejo white wine- the measures are very generous! We had requested a first floor room and this was accommodated for us. We were there during Halloween and had a fabulous fun packed break! David as always is amazing 🤩 and created lots of fun with games through the day and entertainment on an evening with games and quizzes before the show. When we were here in May the friends we met recommended New Year’s Eve - so we’re booked for the 29th December for four nights. I’m then returning in February for a break with the girls. Then we come back in May with the friends we made last year! We travel a lot and regularly holiday in Greece and the Canaries as well as Benidorm but this is our favourite hotel of anywhere we go - the staff make it feel like coming home every time! But the stand out star is David he is an amazing credit to the hotel! See you all again in December! Joanne and Chris

My friend and her sister whom both are disabled stayed a week here and both say it was top notch absolutely amazing and couldn’t fault it.The food rooms and especially the staff were great nothing was to hard for them and even would go out there way for them.

Just stayed here for the fourth time. I can’t find anything negative to say. Excellent location, good food and comfortable beds. The staff here are a credit to the hotel. Everyone is so friendly. Special mention to Alfonso and Claudia in the bar and the chef who cooks the eggs for breakfast. Will definitely book here next time we come to Benidorm.

The hotel is excellent and the service was very good. The entertainment was excellent, We enjoyed the poolside games and the food was of a very high standard and quality. The only negative was the smoking around the pool but that isn't the fault of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again as we had no issues during our stay.

My first time staying here and my parent’s 4th time, none of us could fault a thing. In an ideal location, very close to the old town and the beach. Rooms are very comfortable and clean, pool area great and incredibly relaxing. Food was absolutely delicious and always something for everyone. The staff here are an absolute credit to this hotel, a special mention to Claudia & Alfonso in the bar area along with the gentleman cooking the eggs in the morning, unfortunately didn’t catch his name. Always had a smile on their faces and gave a hugely warm welcome. David doing the entertainment was hilarious! In general, every staff member we encountered were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough, we can’t wait to return!

This was our third visit, starting in 2019(very good), 2023(good) and 2024 which was now average. We would not stay here in future years. The prices have not increased and to cut costs the food choice particularly at dinner have seemingly been downgraded. Subtle but noticeable if you have been on previous occasions. For example vegetable paella or Indian flavoured rice every night have replaced meat or fish paellas in the past. A lot more pizzas on the buffet every night. Finding the prawn in the prawn cocktail was a challenge! Rooms are looking tired and our balcony door would not fully close to help reduce what is a noisy area. €1 electrical tape from the discount shop down the road fixed this every night. Sun beds by the pool are often sinking with years of use. Staff are very pleasant and polite and hotel is in a good location. Tip - walk 200m round the corner and go to primavera park hotel and take lift to 17th floor rooftop bar for magnificent view of Benidorm and great cocktails. You might even want to stay there!
