You need to walk up a hill to check in, which may be inconvenient if you have large luggage. The hotel is right next to Beppu Park, and there is a large pharmacy store called Mori within a 10-minute walk. There is also a bus stop in front of the hotel to other attractions.
The facilities are relatively old, but very hygienic and don't feel crowded.

The triple room I booked was pretty good. The hotel is a bit old, but the location is OK. It's a seven or eight minute walk from the JR station. The hot springs are OK and not crowded. We almost booked it once in the morning and once in the evening. There are free popsicles on the first floor and an elegant lounge. The breakfast was very rich and delicious. The restaurant was on a high floor and the view was also good. Unfortunately, the dinner I booked was automatically abandoned without compensation because I arrived too late. Remember to arrive early if you have booked a meal at the hot spring hotel. There are hot springs everywhere in Beppu. The Hell Tour is worth going. There is a bus stop at the door of the hotel
