The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown

We were in transit on the way home and just needed a place for a good nights sleep, which was close to the Autobahn. This place fit the bill and it was really clean. Also the size of the room(s) was impressive. Additionally, the area is really quiet, so we had a good nights sleep.

Super quiet place, has a good location, metro station near, very good service and price quality Rooms for breakfast or away**** from the city shoes at short distance The service has been good, we do not test the l breakfast by recommendation of other customers but if I think I will be done it excellent rating

This hotel has 5 room types, i booked an Executive apartment, which if the second top room type. I am a solo traveller, but liked the room layout and the extra space. I checked in on 30/03/22 for 3 nights and was allocated room 107. On opening the door i immediately thought it did not exactly resemble the pics i had seen for an Executive Apartment, it was big enough, but just not what i was expecting. The kitchen area was locked up with a shutter over it, which i thought strange. I literally just in the room for 5 minutes and went out exploring. I checked with reception about the kitchen being looked and they asked if i wanted it unlocked to use, yes, that's why i booked that room type, the fridge with freezer compartment for ice and cold drinks. I came back about 5 hours later and the kitchen was indeed unlocked. I was going to shower and looked for the bath robe and slippers which should be in the room, but nothing was there. it was at this point i was sure this was not the room type i had booked. I checked on my phone and looking at the specifications was sure i had been given the wrong room type. I went to reception to enquire and spoke to the duty manager, he printed off 2 pages to show the difference between an Executive Apartment and an Apartment (the top room type), although the same pics had been used to advertise both room types, there were some differences and he stated that my room was larger than most in the hotel. I was still unsure, but accepted what he said and i collected a bathrobe and slippers, the reason they are not already in the room was due to ongoing Covid restrictions. I still felt that i was in the room room type, it was large, but a lot of the room was taken up by a wet room, which was adapted for a wheelchair user and this made the room an awkward space with a lot of dead space. As it turned out, my flight home was cancelled and i ended up staying only 2 nights, so didn't pursue things further. On returning home i checked the room specifications on the website and room 107 is not up to the specifications advertised or as soon in the pics. two main reasons. 1) Executive Apartments have a sofa/sofa bed and can sleep up to 3 people, room 107 had no sofa/sofa bed and this room could only sleep 2 people max. 2) Executive Apartments have a separate seating area, a table and chairs where you can sit and eat, this is clearly shown in the pics too. This was not in room 107. The only seating was a chair at the desk and one other chair. I think room 107 is a superior room adapted for a wheelchair user, but was given to me as i was a solo traveller and dd not need the capacity to sleep 3. I wanted the sofa/sofa bed to sit on and relax, that's why i booked a room with that in it. I am only writing this review, as 3 emails have gone unanswered, one to novum hotels 10/04/22 and two direct to the hotel 12/04/22 and 20/04/22. Everything was perfect until the morning of departure, when the service staff knocked on the room door at 8.30 in the morning to tell me to check out because they had to clean, although on Booking, check-out was provided until 12 o'clock.It somewhat erased all the charm until then.

Located in central of Berlin, this is probably the tallest hotel in town. They have a really nice view over the city. Very convenient with metro and all the restaurants and shops around. Rooms are clean but if you live high up, it’s hard to get mobile signal. Wifi doesn’t work so well when a lot of people are using it. One of the biggest issue if you live higher than 20th floor, the elevator won’t stop at your floor for so long. Not sure how the elevators work, you may have to wait 10 mins for getting down to lobby at busy hours (etc lunch/ dinner hour) Check in was easy and quick, and staff is friendly also.

The hotel is clean, modern and well-staffed. What was missing for us was warmth and the expected level of hospitality. During our 5-day stay, nobody ever said hello, goodbye or communicated in any manner unless we asked a direct question. When I checked out, the only thing the receptionist said was to remind me I had borrowed an electrical adaptor and to return it. I travel frequently and expect hotels to be warm and welcoming. Also, when I checked in I was given no hotel information other than the E25 breakfast hours. I'm sure it's wonderful, but I since only have coffee, there is no reason to pay 25 euros. Because we didn't go to breakfast and the receptionist didn't tell us, we missed many features of the hotel we might have enjoyed. To further our disappointing stay, there was no printed hotel info in our room other than a book about the featured artist. I hate QR codes, but when I scanned the hotel's, it gave sp**** information. The hotel lobby isn't welcoming and I didn't go to the bar until my last night so was unaware of all the things Art'otel would have liked me to know. The magazine was interesting and beautiful. Why isn't there a copy in guest rooms? The local information and maps were available in the breakfast area, but we didn't go there and weren't offered them by hotel staff. One of the reasons I chose the hotel was the pictures of beautiful bathrooms with tubs. Sadly, the website fails to mention that tubs are only available in expensive suites. Our visit, while nice, was overpriced. We paid for hospitality and a good room, but only the room was up to the expected standards. Very disappointing.

I recently visited this hotel with my boyfriend and I was very impressed. We arrived a little before check-in and we were allowed to go to our room. the room was very spacious with an extremely comfy bed and amazing shower. Also on the last day our flight was not for a while and were were allowed to wait in the lobby after checkout which had lovely sofas and seating areas. It was quiet and there were people working in there. The staff were very lobely and was great for the price.

We were in Berlin for a football match of our VfL Bochum and chose the Estrel because it is centrally located and you can get everywhere from there. Not far from the Sonnenallee S-Bahn station, we were greeted in a friendly and courteous manner at reception. The rooms are OK, if a little shabby, unfortunately the air conditioning was not really usable, you would wish for more modern functions these days. The breakfast was completely fine. What bothered me a little was that it was very, if not too warm everywhere in the hotel. And that was when the outside temperature was 20 degrees, I don't want to know what it's like in midsummer. Overall everything was OK, but I wouldn't necessarily book the hotel again.
