We were staying in Puerto Vallarta, but got a day pass to hang out on the private beach and eat at the restaurant. If you do the day pass: the uber from PV to Boca de Tomatlan is easy. It may be a bit of a challenge to find which panga boat is yours but be patient and they'll come find you. You'll be able to see whales from the restaurant, so maybe bring a pair of binoculars. The staff is incredibly nice, the music is awesome, and the food is great. There are several people who hiked to arrive, which is the only other way. If you're headed back to PV, it's not hard to find a cab. You may have to group up with strangers for the way back, but that's not too bad. Beautiful place to hang out for a day!

The beautiful beach 5 minutes away by panga from Boca de Tomatlán! The beach is small and the rest is very comfortable, the food is delicious, the drinks too, order La Pata Salada, it's delicious!!!! They have good DJs! My favorite DJ is Liam Fitzgerald…..don't forget to go to this place, it's worth it!!!

This place is an absolute gem! I truly don’t understand why it has negative reviews. It’s a small slice of paradise, only accessible wipeout, which makes it a super cool experience. To top it off, everyone who works here is super nice and friendly, we felt super safe. Not to mention the phenomenal food and drinks. Everything we ate and drink was delicious and fresh. We cannot wait to go back! Shout out to everyone who works here, but especially Mateo, we went right after their tropical storm, and he was the brains of the operation and kept this place going.

I had not known a place like this, the worst service my family had ever received, old, bad and expensive place. When we reviewed the bill, a crazy guy from the jungle, I think he was named manager, came out, we realized that they were charging the table fee per person That it had already been paid, when I continued checking the bill, the animal told my mother-in-law that if she didn't have money to pay, they would hire waitresses and cleaning staff for the restaurant, we didn't react to the offense because it was incredible. At the time they were paid but we continued checking and they charged 2 extra coffees that with the tip amounted to almost 500 pesos just for those coffees, the tip was obligatory even though their service was terrible. They deducted the coffees from the bill but they did not want to return the money to us because It was already charged, the portion of a family ceviche was for a 4-year-old child but at the price of a portion for a soccer team. Seriously, don't visit this place, unless you want to be treated like garbage and blatantly robbed, and to top it all off, they charged the card for 800 pesos more.

The food and beverages were so good the stay is worth it just for those reasons, but the service on top of that makes it a remarkable stay! The Casitas are open air, so it can be hot and humid certain times of year, but that is to be expected when you are pushing up against the jungle (as well as the insects that bit). It is basically a private beach. We went with the goal of relaxing. We didn't venture off the property the entire time and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly in the Libelula Casita. Can't remember that last time food made me feel that good day in and day out.

Terrible service, they charged for several foods that we did not consume and they did not want to return that charge that was improperly charged and the prices of the food were very expensive, for example, a lemonade, one hundred and ninety pesos, a small plate of ceviche, five hundred and ninety pesos, and a very bad service. I advise you to check the bill because They charge you for things you didn't use or consume or they want to charge you twice what you already paid.
